well I did some research and it turns out my name means 9th born and I just wanted to know if 9 means anything significant

in the Jewish calendar, one of the HOLY DAYS is the EIGHTH DAY.

does the EIGHTH DAY symbolize ETERNITY FUTURE? after the 1000 year Millennial Reign?

I think 8 is the number for a new beginning.
Has anyone noticed that Lazarus was the seventh person raised from the dead, and Jesus was the eigth.
I'm sure there's some significance there but I'm not sure what exactly. If I'm not mistaken, and please correct me if I'm wrong, Tabitha (Acts 9:36) was the ninth. What might that signify?

Nine ~ The number nine is a most remarkable number in many respects. It is held in great reverence by all who study the occult sciences; and in mathematical science it possesses properties and powers which are found in no other number.

It is the last of the digits, and thus marks the end; and is significant of the conclusion of a matter. It is akin to the number six, six being the sum of its factors (3x3 = 9, and 3+3 = 6), and is thus significant of the end of man, and the summation of all man's works. nine is therefore.....The Number of Finality or Judgment.
.....Number in Scripture ~ E.W.Bullinger

Gods number (amongst others) is 9.
But what you say about the "end of man" reveals that you think no one will be saved? Where is the quote of the Word? Or is Bullinger the new book to read?
I stick with the good part of the Word.

May God send you a Bible.

On this other forums they say that the number 9 is the Judgemnt of God. I had this vision awhile back: I saw the world, then I saw the number 9 beneath the world.

I agree with Bullinger. In Greek gematria, the alphabets that spell "Amen" add up to 99. In many old Greek writings ended with the last two charachters being 99. Ancient Greek alphabets were used as their numbers before the digits 1 through 9 came into play. The last two characters is their code way of saying "Amen". In my way of thinking, Amen means "so be it". Is that to say, Judge it? I think so. 1dsz5h2.gif

Lev 25:20 'And if you say, "What shall we eat in the seventh year, since we shall not sow nor gather in our produce?"
Lev 25:21 Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it will bring forth produce enough for three years.
Lev 25:22 And you shall sow in the eighth year, and eat old produce until the ninth year; until its produce comes in, you shall eat of the old harvest.

They would sow seeds for the harvest of the fruits of the earth and eat of the fruits on the 9th year....

Just like the gestation period for a woman is 9 month before she bares the "fruit of her womb"....

Next year is the 9th year of this new day since the time of the Gentiles began 2000 years ago...

People say it is 2008 when 2000 years have already past we are in fact in the year 3008 at the beginning of the "day". But the world will only see this date in a 1000 years from now.

We are in the beginning of the "3rd day", wait isn't it on the 3rd day that Jesus resurrected?
Hmmmmmmmm could it be that the prophetic body of Christ (those who died in Christ) will rise at the beginning of this 3 rd prophetic day? "On the third day He will raise us".

Now if only the body of Christ would believe God, things would be so easy, but until they see Jesus they will not believe the times, sad really, just like they didn't believe Jesus would resurrect. NO ONE BELIEVED EXCEPT JESUS.....
Ponder this please.

Anyway I believe 9 means fruitfulness!

Good one Marc! 1dsz5e4.gif

Thanks John,

Ever since He revealed Himself to the apostles, He told them I will be delivered and killed and on the 3rd day I will rise...

Not even His own household believed Him, they thought He lost "His senses", in Mark when He went to Canernaum....

And He did miracles then! as Jews desire signs....

Even with miracles they thought He was crazy.....

Jesus can be seen by the power of the Holy Spirit, to avoid false messiahs and prophets...

Jesus literally spent his ministry with unbelievers even if the believed and knew He was Messiah....
Imagine how fustrating and hurt was Jesus to be deserted and not believed....

I guess raising the dead was not enough.
Now Jesus returns with the voice of the archangel, to raise His bride....

He will be seen of angels and His resurrected bride...The rest like the Pharisees will not recognise Him even though they see Him.

Born in a humble tabernacle was He then and now...
