Hello my family...

My brother Steve is going into surgery tomorrow to have a tumor removed from the back of his scalp. They say it's probably a form of cancer, but need to find out more when they go in.

He goes into surgery tomorrow (friday) at 7am and has surgery at 9am.

Steve is like a father to me...I'm a little freaked out over this. He's not saved...but I've seen the Lord pulling at him and I believe this is part of it. Please pray for him.

Thank you...It brings me comfort to know you are all out there speaking to our Lord on Steve's behalf. Funny thing is..I got one of the best sleeps I've had in a long time last night. The Lord is merciful..Amen!

I am praying for God to give the doctors wisdom, that they are able to extract it all and that he heals quickly.

Thank you everyone!! Steve came through surgery just fine. The tumor is cancerous, but they got a clean margin all around..so it looks good. Not sure if he has to do anything else as far as treatment, but he's in great spirits...well maybe the better word is loopy.

Thank you so much for praying...I can't wait to see how the Lord will move my brother into action.

Hi Dani...Believe me, if I could sleep in I definitely would!! The joys of mommyhood don't allow that for the moment

Thank you guys...I know after this he's starting to rethink my 'talks' I've had with him. The Lord has used this to wake him up a bit. I'm so thankful that it was able to just be removed with no other treatment (we found that out today!) Steve was so worried that he had brain cancer..my father died of brain cancer when he was only 52. Steve will be 52 in March..so believe me, the wheels are turning...this is not a coincidence and he knows it.
