Was reading - still reading - Great Lion of God last night - almost fell asleep doing so. Was awake - on the way to Lala Land - was reading a sentence in the book and I saw written there - 100 Days.....I re-focused and continued reading - and I saw it again. I got up - came out to the lounge - told hubby - marked it on the calendar and rang my mum and told her. While talking to her - I counted on the calendar. 100 Days makes January 4th - from yesterday's date - (I think - either that or it's the 5th - I was talking and counting at the same time). The 4th January is my Nanna's birthday - her 92nd.

So I go back to bed and continue reading - and just before I went to sleep - I saw again - on a different page - 100 days. Of course - it's not written there in the book. So I turned the light off and went to sleep. I dreamed - from what I do remember - of firstly winning a scrapbooking challenge ( only in my dreams tongue.gif ) and then at 1am I woke with Saul of Tarshish on my lips. At this point in the book - Pilate has been calling him Paul of Tarsus ( he still hasn't 'converted' to Jesus) - don't think he's been called Saul if Tarshish for quite some time.

so this is my record - and I'll let you know WHAT HAPPENS IN 100 DAYS.
THE SEVEN THUNDERS
Hi, MadMikkie…

Fascinating experience... I just L-O-V-E "The Great Lion of God"!

Here are some biblical uses of the number 100 that may help give you some symbolic clues:

God is designated as the Most High 100 times in the OT.

The numerical value of Hebrew word “EMLKE” meaning coronation, and “MNI” meaning god or divinity of the destiny, gives each one 100.

The hundredfold is promised to who has left all for Our Lord. (Mk 10:30)

The fourteen epistles of Paul have on the whole 100 chapters.

Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born. (Gn 21:5)

Obadiah saved 100 prophets. (1 K 18:4)

Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, weighing about a hundred pounds to embalm Jesus. (Jn 19:39)

This number corresponds to the Hebraic letter "qoph".

I can really relate to your experience, reading something that's not there. Once I sent away for a street map of my birthplace and childhood home (Stockton, California), and after I received the map I was examining it and noted that a huge one square mile university (St. Mary's College of California) had been constructed on the east side of town flanking a major freeway. I put the map down on my desk and went to do some chores in the kitchen. Later, I returned to the map, and to my absolute surprise the university was completely gone! To this day I am mystified by the meaning of the experience. I will never forget it, which may be its purpose. Perhaps it is a "fig tree sign" to me from God saying, "When you see this sign (the construction of St. Mary's College of California) in your home town, then the end is at hand."

I found out that there already exists St. Mary's College of California in Northern California due west of Stockton closer to the Bay Area in a city named Moranga over the hills from Oakland. It is a beautiful campus nestled in a valley. I phoned the administration office and asked if they had future plans to expand to Stockton and the administrator said no. I think what's going to happen are catastrophic earthquakes and fires in the Bay Area, great destruction, even to the university, prompting its eventual relocated to Stockton... just my guess.

Blessings…

Wow - didn't know any of that about the number 100. Just a quickie tho before I let step daughter do her CAD homework - I've been having odd dreams again. Again hearing the phone - when it's not ringing, dreaming of an elderly person I know dying, a female acquaintance whom I've not seen in several years and who is pregnant - dreaming about her - and her knowing this elderly person who dies ( she doesn't know her at all) and dreaming about the hospital and me needing to get in to see my baby - which I've had before....and the other day - I was thinking - gee - how quickly could I get the butane stove and blankets & the like together to head off if there was a tsunami - where exactly would we go etc etc....unbeknownst to me because we hadn't watched any commercial tv channels, the earthquake off the Auckland Islands (NZ) triggered a tsunami alert for Tasmania - I truly knew nothing about it until the next day - well after the fact....and I thought...how odd!

Then today - my 3 year old woke up from his nap crying his eyes out- said the dog woofed at him and scareded him. I mentioned it at the dinner table tonight to his dad and his dad asked what colour dog ( we have a black and tan rottie shepherd X) - I didn't know so I asked 3 year old - he said it was a big white one and brown. His daddy then told me that the other day he was putting him to bed and the poor child wasn't even asleep and he said that the big white dog woofeded at him. Mind you - he tried that one tonight because he didn't want to go to bed (cheeky little sod). Now - I have a few ideas about this but am reluctant to put it on public forum. Will ponder on it tonight. But when I was little - I used to have nightmares about snakes, spiders and ants crawling on me - and a man in a mexican hat. As I got older - the hat seemed to get smaller - and he was always at the end of the bed - so I associated him with fear. It wasn't until I was much older that I realised - he scared the critters away. One half hearted suicide attempt - that man was there waking me up. The difference - this bloke was a tall man - hat was regular sized ( we're talking a 1950's style hat - can't remember what they're called). The man when I was little his head wasjust above the mattress. Years later - my oldest nieces used to have dreams - or see - a man in a hat at their bedroom window. They knew nothing of my experience. then my Younger nieces belonging to my youngest sister - they started seeing the same thing. So I suggested to my sisters to show them some photo's casually = and see if they recognised the person. WELL _ THEY DID.

So either my son is pulling our legs ( although he is starting to show some fear of our dog for some reason when he never has before) or he is 'sensitive' to these things.

gotta go - daughter needs toget her homework done

Wow! Your dream life has certainly been active.

Often with very young children unfamiliar with Sunday school teachings of the Lord due to their tender age and their limited life experience, God has been known to portray Himself in a form that they can understand, something very familiar to them. It is purely symbolism and not "shape-shifting". I have often seen this done where God uses the image of a "dog" to portray Himself to a child, which is very clever on the Lord's part for the method to His madness is this, the word "dog" is a reverse tranliterization for "God", being "God" spelled backwards.

So a very young child may relay an imaginary account (vision) or dream of a "dog", or out of the blue say the phrase "Dog bless you" ("God bless you") to try to communicate an experiential spiritual contact with the God of the Universe.

A big "white" dog shows the "Purity" of God (dog), for "white" is a symbol of undefiled purity as in God's Holiness, and definitely points to God as the symbolism behind the dog. The fact that the dog "whoofed" (barked) at him appears to be a note worthy fact. This "punctuates" the experience with an attention grabbing startling note so that the child will not forget it, perhaps for some future purpose planned by God. I have a feeling God is not yet finish with His dog-themed communications with your son.

The first part concerning your dreams is symbolism dealing with you and sweeping change in store for your life.
