Read the Sermon on the Mount.............Jesus told the Jews, "YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD".

the OT and the 4 Gospels were written to THE JEWS (not gentiles)..........the Christian Church didn't start until Acts 2.

Jesus said "I am sent ONLY to the JEWS".........not gentiles

Paul said the Gospel is preached to THE JEW FIRST, then to the gentile.

In the OT, God promised the ELECT NATION ISRAEL.......If you will obey the Law of Moses, you will be blessed beyond measure, in the city, in the field, in the forest, on the battlefield, in commerce, in farming, in livestock, in gold, in money, in childbirth,
YOU'LL BE BLESSED IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY.
Deut 28



my point is:
if Israel had obeyed the Law of Moses, Israel would have had a TREMENDOUS GOLDEN AGE WITHOUT END,........as long as she obeyed the Law of Moses,........AND SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE

*****LIGHT OF THE WORLD*****................ISRAEL would have been the SUPER-POWER OF THE WORLD, FAR GREATER THAN THE USA OR ANYONE ELSE.

and ISRAEL wouldn't need Nukes or Chariots to be safe and prosper, since the FEAR OF GOD would be upon her enemies.
God would be Israel's Shield from her enemies.


but, alas, many Israelites sinned, and God punished Israel (exile to babylon, destruction of nation in 70AD, scattered from 70 AD to 1948)

in like manner, many gentiles sinned, and God exiled them to Babylon (SPIRITUALLY, a SPIRITUAL Babylon)............Babylon the Great is THE WHOLE non-born-again WORLD.
