Full Version: Heaven, Presence, Most Holy Place, New Jerusalem

Have come to a thought that all these places, Heaven, Presence, Most Holy Place, New Jerusalem....are all essentially, in Him, Heaven. Have always been stuck on that relationship of He is in me and God is in Him and He is in God. Came to a wonderful conclusion that in order to pass through the door, we must put all things down that will not pass into Heaven. Kind of like don't run with the scissors, least you might fall on them and die. Put down those things, hate, lust, etc.. and pick up Love or else you will "die". He is in us now, spiritual gift, Holy Spirit, guiding, as we shed those things, (the easy way or the cowboy way), becoming like Him. When we go in, we will be then, a part of Him. I also felt before I was a Christian, that He was with me then. Do you think it was like the Jews, as He was with them, but not in them. It seems logical that He is with us, then in us, and we finally in Him. Don't need confirmation, because I am going to walk in faith anyway, but some comments would be appreciated.....and with that said, do you think that the Heavenly tabernacle is an unshadowed one, physical, like Moses's?, is there a need for the implements, etc. ?

The earthly sanctuary that moses built was a pattern of the heavenlly sanctuary which is in heaven. Therefore the sanctuary in heaven would be similar in appearance to the earthly but obviously much more grand. The implements in the earthly sanctuary like say the candlestick represented jesus as the light of the world and the table of shewbread represented jesus as the bread of life. We have a high priest even jesus the most high priest who interecedes on behalf of the sinner to the father. The sanctuary service on earth was set up as a shadow to point forward to the fulfillment of jesus' work of salvation. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sins. When jesus came and died on the cross he shed his blood once and for all and therefore was a fulfillment of the earthly sanctuary which pointed forward to him. We can learn alot about jesus's work of salvation by studying the sanctuary service. Jesus's death on the cross was a vital part of the sanctuary service but just as in the earthly sanctuary the death of the lamb wasn't the only part of the sanctuary service so also jesus death on the cross marked the beginning of the heavenly sanctuary service. The sanctuary service is a big study but worth going over again.

GOOD WORD, only God's WORD will PREVAIL... Earthly sancutuary which pointed FORWARD TO HIM ( The Most HOLY PLACE in the shadows of his WINGS in the Secret Hiding place...Holy of Holies the THRONE of our LORD JESUS), which sits at the right hand of GOD, and has placed us also in the Heavenlies alongs side with HIM. Where the Spirit of the LORD IS there is Freedom real freedom. Amen

May I answer with a question.:God only dwells in the Most Holy Place. So if God dwells in us, where is it?

Isa 45:14 Thus saith Jehovah, The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall go after thee, in chains they shall come over; and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.

Where are we seated in Christ ?

If the church is seated there, where does the New Jerusalem come from?

Where is the kingdom of heaven (I presume we can find heaven there)

It is all clear in the Scriptures and none of it needs speculation.

end3 I agree with you. And I also agree that it is by faith.
Also remember that to be IN Him, is to be IN the Word.

in the Heavenlies.

From Heaven

Within and Without

did I pass?

Revelation 7:7
And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand OF ALL THE TRIBES OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL.

Revelation 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, ACCORDING to the MEASURE OF MAN, that is, of the angel.

16. And the city lieth foursquare, and the LENGHT is as large as the BREADTH; and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thougsand furlongs. The LENGHT and the BREADTH and the HEIGHT of it are EQUAL.

HOW FAR< HOW WIDE> HOW DEEP...as far as the East is from the West...Psalms 139

7. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8. If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

9. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parst of the sea;

10. Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
