Full Version: Someone Have Ideas About These Dreams.....

Over the past year I've had a couple of dreams that recur. I dont' know if I've posted them here - but it's to do with a garden. I know I posted a dream about 1 garden - with a water feature in it - and retaining walls etc.

1 dream is to do with our house - which kind of is and isn't the house we live in at the moment. It's got several levels, different little balconies and walkways interconnecting - white painted wood railings and the like - different rooms - the layout changes somewhat fcrom dream to dream - but it's our house....we have it own it live in it. There's no sense of - this house belongs to my in-laws about it - we can and do whatever we like. The street in the dream tends to be a bit less built up.

another dream is to do with the garden - and I had it the other night after going to buy some herbs ( I now have ALL the Scarborough Fair herbs - parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme smile.gif Something I've always wanted. Plus - the memory (I assume) of this particular dream - keeps coming back to me - it did after I bought the bay tree and considered buying an olive tree. Because my sleep is so disturbed - half the time I don't know if I'm remembering I've dreamed or if it's remembering THE dream. Anyway - this one is to do with a garden - and it seems that the dream I posted here about the garden with the retaining walls and water feature - is out the back of - or on another side of the house - where this recurring dream is. The recurring dream however shows a section of the house that is white - and has almost a latticed feel about the place - airy and light. The garden area isn't so much dirt as little garden plots that are raised about half a foot from the ground or so - and built out of what seems to be concrete painted white. There's also a white 'feature' - I'm not sure if it's a fountain or a fancy fountain looking statue. So the garden is weed free - and generally neat and tidy - and I'm usually planting something in the dream.

This may sound confusing - but I've remembered a 3rd garden dream I had about our real back yard.

The thing is - there is no way that the house we live in now - will ever look like this recurring dream garden part. It's red brick and on 2 levels - It really couldn't happen without a major windfall happening to extend the cement deck and frame up with lattice and white timber etc. Not to mention the house in the dream seems to have a pointy roof - not a 'butterfly' roof ( inverted) like we have. Neither could we ever afford to buy this house in the dream - for the same reasons - people don't accept tealeaves as currency laugh.gif

So - basically - I'd like to know if anyone has any insight into these garden dreams.

I am thinking of Song of Solomon here:

Song of Solomon 4:10-16

How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices! Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon. A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard,
Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices: A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.
Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.

I didn't get back to this last night like I intended....I will certainly look it up and see what happens....context etc. (I'm trying to make a digital scrapbooking kit wacko.gif )

I read it and then read it again this morning - and I don't 'get' it.

See - yesterday and the night before ( I've had gastro so slept a bit yesterday and Monday ) I had dreams that were 'part of a series' or recurring dreams with slight differences - locations the same but circumstances different - not the garden dreams this time - one was a car - but it wasn't the car I had - and it was kind of me deliberately parking the car away from home - I think so no-one knew I was home - after a long journey - then me forgetting where I parked it - last night I parked it deliberatly where the confiscated cars were parked! And it wasn't my car - the car - although mine in the dream - was a copper coloured pulsar - a friends old car. Mine was teh same shape - but it was a red laser. And the location I lived was my first flat etc etc - packages in the letter box for me. Another dream was again- supposed to be my first flat - I've had this dream before - but this time myself - hubby, 3 children andthe step daughter had to move back - whereas last time I moved out - and someone else shared the building buthadn't shut the connecting door between our rooms - just had a red curtain partly drawn. She was pretty shabby this person who'd moved in with a blonde 3 year old boy ( couold have come from the book I was reading) - bt the KITCHEN WAS A PIGSTYE. I was disgusted. I had obviously kept the rent up on the place - butths person had destroyed the kitchen - food and old plates of food everywhere - a half eaten applew ith ants all over it. Grease build up - burned food.

So obviously there's a mesage here somewhere. I'm sorry - but if I'm sick - the last thing I feel like is being tidy.....and my poor kids have copped lots of yelling - coz they know I'm not well and act up worse than usual. And I just lose my temper.....when I'm well enough to do so. It's awful!
THE SEVEN THUNDERS
Hi, MadMikkie…

The “house” in any dream always represents “you” and the state and condition of your relationship with Father God, for the “house” is His “covering”, “roof” over you (you being the “Church”: a church is not a building as it has come to modernly mean; it is a “people”, it is a “person” apart of God’s people). (2Co 5:1; Heb 3:1-6)

The color “white” abundantly associated in the imagery of the “house” and the “lattice light and airy” quality that you relayed symbolizes your “spiritual purity” and “righteousness” (Isaiah 1:18; Daniel 7:9; Matthew 17:2; Acts 1:10), a delicate and beautiful thing. The Lord is saying through the “recurrent” dream that it is well with your soul that you are in good standing with Him, that your walk with Him is “aright” and “pure”. The reason why this tends to be a recurrent dream with you is because you occasionally and internally tend to “doubt” your standing with God, so through repetition He is merely attempting to reaffirm to you and “in you” through your subconscious that you need not doubt, for “this is My daughter whom I Am well pleased.” Simply pray to the Lord, “My Father, I finally get it, thank You! Thank You!”

The “garden” in your dreams symbolizes your “spiritual growth” and “spiritual fertility” (Isaiah 58:11; Genesis 2:8-10). The “weed-less” state of your garden is a VERY GOOD SIGN, indicating that your spiritual growth is not hampered by “curses” (thistles/weeds) or things, like “sin”, that will infiltrate the garden and cause curses and spiritual degeneration. The neat and tidy quality to your garden indicates that you have “good spiritual discipline” that the Lord is very proud of this impressive quality in you. The aspect of the “elevated” garden patches surrounded by “white” (pure) painted “concrete” (solid) borders clearly indicates your strong “high spiritual standards” of purity. The imagery of you always in a state of planting new flourishing plants in the garden relays how you are continually nurturing your “spiritual growth”, a good virtue.

The water feature/fountain in the midst of your garden indicates the presence of the Holy Spirit flowing in your spiritual growth and life. (John 7:37-39; Matthew 3:11-16)

The incredible house in your dream that is “beyond affordability” symbolizes the epitome of your relationship with Christ; it’s “pointed roof” stretching to God, heaven-bound. Christ is telling you that this is your current relational state with Him, which He has paid the “unaffordable” price for you to have, that you do not have to “feel” that you have to pay this price for your relationship with Him through “works” alone, as indicated by your statement, [we would have] “to extend the cement deck and frame up with lattice and white timber, etc.” Instead, have “Faith” that it is a free gift; enjoy it.

This aspect of your dream… “The street in the dream tends to be a bit less built up,” conveys that few people have the same standing as you with the Lord. This rarity is something not to be taken lightly, for “many are called, but few are chosen.” So revere this privilege with great humility and humble thanksgiving.

Blessings…

Oh wow. Thank you 7.

It's been so long since I even thought about dreams and trying to understand them properly - that as soon as you said house is self - I remembered that.

I think now I understand the other recurring dreams - even if it may be off centre from usual 'symbolism' - me parking the car and forgetting where I put it - always going back to an old flat - or a place of work - is forgetting church ( or to pray at night but then I have been rather sick) - forgetting that you need to go back to the church - the place it begins - where I found God (again) which was church.

Because the kids have been sick now for about 6 weeks with this bug going around - there is no organisation - the messy kitchen - messy mind as to where I parked the car is an urging to get organised and as I said to a friend - do n't criticise others until YOU get yourself right - or ME get meself right - that's what that is. And the kitchen again is I beleive spiritual food. Ploughing through a mess to clean up instead of being able to make dinner ( read) and eat - 'feed'. I can't write this right - but i nknow what I mean with what I'm saying.

Thank you Lord for 7 who has opened my eyes and ears and helped me to understand!

See - I've been feeling quite 'messy' inside. I get grumpy - I EVEN questioned God umm.....2 nights ago - which would be our Wednesday night - which I put down in someone else's thread - why does the exact opposite happen when I pray? Like for sleep - or for the kids to sleep so I can - they all do the exact opposite - so I've said - no-one pray for my kids to sleep or me to sleep so I can get the rest I need because when people do - the whole sleep issue is WORSE than before prayer.

But what it also means is that those 'ideas' and thoughts that I have that may seem heretical to some....and upset a few people - aren't too far off the mark. I just need to get back to church for a good feed which could be why I'm feeling so 'messy' inside. Now soccer season is over and hubby's home all weekend - I can go and not stress about having to leave early or - not stress about not being able to go. And today's the day I do the church newsletter - which has always been a day of me having SILENCE for most of the time it takes to do it at the church.....and although I did it last week - it only took an hour and a half - and I didn't feel the inner silence I like to feel....where the turmoil quietens and I just feel the little peace ball on the inside.

Now - I'd better feed the children their breakfast before a riot starts! tongue.gif laugh.gif

I was thinking that the garden an retaining wall is things that are delibrately made, done, most of what you are saying here is done that way. This shows a work or ministry, something you are called to. Here- a garden = growth, pruming, taking care of, bring to life. Retaining walls = made to hold back, organize, and keep safe by force, by will. something that is delibratelly done inorder that a garden care bee put there. Sounds alot like a ministry and G-ds hand to me.

is out the back of - or on another side of the house - where this recurring dream is. The recurring dream however shows a section of the house that is white - and has almost a latticed feel about the place - airy and light.

Tow things here...
1- Proverbs Chapter 14 begins with a verse. It says “A wise woman buildeth her house, but the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands.”

2- my own walk through life, I have noted that somethings have a spiritual mood, or feel to them, this is with movies, music, things, some some more real than others, see it is easy not to note this unless you have been force to deal with it. I don't listen to some songs because of this reason, I don't watch movies that have this happen to me with. I have note that even some people have a feel to them, like a haveness, or those that seem like they drain you, just be you being around them. I believe that we as strong christian women, have the power and right to set up a place where others will get free in, healed in, losed from things that bind them. I had at one point been in a room a long time again with some friends of mine, this room was set up with lace and smalled wonderful. A feeling a peace was there, I asked why this was done and that it looked like a wadding had been done there, a quit place. This room was set aside for a pray closent, for privet time and fasting to those in a womens rally, you could small the anointing oil there.

so when you talk about this place, being white, something were white and light an airy, cement being something that would have been light, not needing paint on it, more natural and blending into nature was than painted, and force into the deco, this being those in churches being painted up and force into places and rolls. this makes things like nice, for a time, until you need to dig out the paint agian and force things back inorder, just so. I believe because this isn't something that would stand out to many, they don't see the harm in what they might be doing, playing the role of G-d, by forcing others to conform or be rejeacted, when this really don't have to do with the love of G-d. If the cenent is left alone, and taken care of with the right stuff, so that it is sealed, it keeps the weither from creating cracks and than braking apart what was forumed together. We can do the work or we or we can do it G-d's way.

The garden area isn't so much dirt as little garden plots that are raised about half a foot from the ground or so - and built out of what seems to be concrete painted white. There's also a white 'feature' - I'm not sure if it's a fountain or a fancy fountain looking statue. Well, like i said, as soon as I got some time I would go back and look at your dream better. I hope this was of help, I do believe that you as history has shown have a habit of dreaming things tht apply to others, other christians. If we are wise will would look and learn!

What others see as strang in you Mikki in G-ds eyes these are just just starts of dreams that in his hands can be made to come true!

Well, like i said, as soon as I got some time I would go back and look at your dream better. I hope this was of help, I do believe that you as history has shown have a habit of dreaming things tht apply to others, other christians. If we are wise will would look and learn!

What others see as strang in you Mikki in G-ds eyes these are just just starts of dreams that in his hands can be made to come true!

re the 'forced' thing about the concrete - being painted - it's quite strange - but it doesn't 'feel' forced or made to conform? It's kind of hard to explain....but it all just fit togeher. The paintwork - if that's what it was - it was PURE white - wasn't flaking or anything. It was just perfect. And any of the walled sections of the garden - in one dream it's quite a tall wall - about shoulder height tapering down to ankle height - with a flow ramp for water that flowed along the top of the wall - down and around into a shallow reflecting pool of water - almost shaped like part of a Z - except curved like a backwards S - and it's the top part of the letter - anyway - that wall was sandstone - and it was - all so natural....like it was meant to be there.....with an island of greenery in the middle of the reflecting pool....and at the back of the pool there was a section where the water was able to pour down the wall as well as come round the S bend into the pool. The same with the white section of the garden - it was all very 'natural feeling' not 'built up' or anything.

Wouldn't I love a garden like that!
