I am currently listening to your Eells-03-15-06 . you have a preacher here who does not believe that Israel is G-d's chosen people. I am afraid he is in the 'Replacement Theology' camp. G-d's people are and always will be Israel and Jerusalelm. we are only grafted in, believers in Jesus. We are saved by the blood of Jesus, the Jew, and G-d commands us to Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (the real one) they shall prosper that love Thee (that is not money, it is the peace and protection of G-d)
He is trying to predict the future without understanding Bible history, the history of the Jews. he is picking and choosing only a few OT verses to justify his theology. So many of his analogies are in error, I am sorry to say. Yes, we will be in a great tribulation. Yes, Messiah will set His foot upon the Mt of Olives to stop the war in the valley of Armeggedon, you have to see G-d only works thru his nation Israel, whom he has NEVER turned His back on. We are currently in a battle with Babylon, the nation of Islam. not commerce of the usa. this preacher keeps saying physical Jerusalem (Jews) and spiritual Jerusalem (Christians).
Christians ARE NOT the remnant. find a new preacher to get your end times news. there are many on this list that can lead you to the real Bible truth.

I think that "prophet" has been reading too much "Late Great Planet Earth".

Sir Isaac Newton said we are not to become prophets, but to recognize the event after it has come to pass.

There is little accountability by these "experts". They have the luxury of predicting anything they want, and until it comes to pass (which could be never) can they be proven wrong?

Actually he is not into replacement theology ( he says so himself) I also agree with him: If it was replacement , it means he would be preaching that we now have the covenant of Israel and their promises. That simply is not true. We have a New Covenant and BETTER promises Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a ministry the more excellent, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been enacted upon better promises.

So its silly to want , what Israel has. They have a letter, we have the spirit. In Jesus (Who they do not have) ALL the promises are YES. What a great deal.
Israel , when they were still serving God, was held accountable for even the sin that they did not know that they committed, but under GRACE , God does not hold you accountable for your mistakes, that is not willful.
Better deal, better promises.

So , NO, not replacement, but everything that happened to them, is an example for the church:1Co 10:6 Now these things were our examples, (talking of Israel)

So if you listen without prejudice, you will hear what he is saying> Plus at the end he speaks of Israel of today.
He is saying: God is doing something to Israel in the letter, and ....1Co 10:6 Now these things were our examples, (So he is preaching very much IN LINE with Scripture)

Sometimes we get blinded and we cannot hear, because of our own prejudice.

replacement theology means that:

the christian church has replaced the nation ISRAEL, and all of the promises to ISRAEL are now belonging to Christians..........

if that is true (it's NOT), then:
we (CHURCH) own the PROMISED LAND, and the PHYSICAL descendants of Abraham don't own the LAND.



but the TRUTH is:
the christian church was never given a PHYSICAL LAND WITH DEFINED BOUNDARIES.

and the church is not living in a THEOCRACY............the church must live under the secular, man-made laws of the CEASAR, PUTIN, HITLER, KING HENRY, NAPOLEON, the democracy of BUSH AND CLINTON, etc (mostly un-believers)


the NT indicates that:
the church will always be a tiny minority (until the end-of-this-age), so we will never have any political or military power, in this dispensation.

but, we have SPIRITUAL POWER, .........prayer, salt, light, love, joy, peace of heart and mind, a clean conscience.............the JOY of the LORD is our strength.
we know HIM!..............!...........yea!

ABRAHAM and his BLOOD-LINE PHYSICAL descendants own the PROMISED LAND for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!for ever!!!!!!!!

the meek shall inherit the earth.

who owns the LAND today? .........ABRAHAM's BLOOD-LINE PHYSICAL descendants (even though most are un-believers).

at the end-of-the-trib,...........God will remove the un-believers from the earth,........so the LAND will be owned by BELIEVING JEWS.

Again we see a world beast covenant uniting Christians with all false religions. What verse shows the supposed covenant the antichrist will make between the Jews and the Arabs? This tradition is a “working of error, that they should believe a lie” (2Thes.2:11). God is not offended when lost Jews make a covenant with the lost world. They have in effect had one since they rejected the New Covenant. God is offended when true spiritual born again Jews make a covenant with harlot religions and the world beast. The danger here is that because of the false prophets, many of God’s people are expecting the tribulation to begin with an all-fly-away rapture and an individual called the Antichrist making a covenant with physical Israel. While they are looking for this false sign, the true signs will have happened and they will be in the tribulation and not prepared. The multitudes of God’s people in Jesus’ day were rebuked by Him for not knowing the signs of the time. History must repeat.

This covenant will force tolerance among religions and guarantee freedom of individual conscience, which means church members will be able to believe and act as they like. Preaching against sin or false religion will be a hate crime. This is contrary to sound doctrine and destructive to the body of Christ (1Cor.5:1-13; 2Thes.2:15; 3:6,7,14). I am not saying that this covenant will bring doctrinal unity but that the doctrinal demands of the religions will be dropped for the sake of unity, peace, and safety. Christians are, of course, forbidden agreement with unbelievers or else they will have no agreement with God. (2Cor.6:14) Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness? (15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever? (16) And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (17) Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you, (18) And will be to you a Father, And ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Nothing could be clearer. Unless we are separate from the world, we are not His “sons and daughters”. This distinction will drive the true Church underground and make them enemies of the beast and harlot.

WHO IS THE COVENANT MADE WITH?

Here is an astounding revelation that almost none of God’s people understand and therefore will not recognize the “covenant with many” when it is made. (Dan 9:24) Seventy Weeks are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish transgression… Sixty nine of those weeks transpired between the command to build Jerusalem and the birth of Jesus the Messiah, and were “decreed upon thy people,” physical Israel. At the time of the Messiah Daniel’s people changed because the Jews killed Jesus and rejected the New Covenant.

At that time the Jews were broken off of the olive tree called “all Israel” through unbelief and the church was grafted in. (Rom.11:19) [Actually, it says "some" of the branches were broken off, not all. Although, I do understand what he is saying.] Thou wilt say then, Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. (20) Well; by their unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by thy faith… According to Paul in Rom.9:27 a remnant of natural Israel will be grafted back in. (23) And they also, if they continue not in their unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again… (26) and so all Israel shall be saved... So now after the gap the 70th week of the tribulation is “decreed upon thy people,” spiritual Israel, the church, because God’s interest is to “finish transgression” in His true chosen people.

The strong delusion is that the church has her eye on natural Israel as the focal point of the covenant but we see here that it is the church herself. As we saw in Second Key to Hidden Manna spiritual bodies of people now count in the New Testament. Also we see here that when the remnant of natural Israel gets saved during the second half of the 70th week and are grafted back in, it will be because they are believers under the New Covenant and members of the church.

Speaking of the church the Lord said, “I will call that my people, which was not my people; And her beloved, that was not beloved. And it shall be, [that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, There shall they be called sons of the living God” (Rom.9:25,26). It is the believers who are sons of Abraham (Gal.3:6-10) and brothers of Daniel. Excuse the repetition but physical Jews who are not born again are not “thy people.” (Rom.2:28) For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly… (29) but he is a Jew who is one inwardly … (9:8) That is, it is not the children of the flesh that are children of God; but the children of the promise are reckoned for a seed. The gentile church is spoken to here and told that they are the seed of Abraham; the Jews. (Gal.4:28) Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. Since the breaking off of the physical Jews, God indignantly says, “the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.”(Rev.2:9; see also 3:9).

The Lord says that Daniel's “lot” is not the physical Jews but those who are born again and resurrected at “the end.” (Dan.12:13) But go thou thy way till the end be; for thou shalt rest, and shalt stand in thy lot, at the end of the days. There is only one resurrection of the righteous dead at “the end.” (I Cor.15: 22) For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. (23) But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ's, at his coming. (24) Then [cometh] the end... The church is now called God’s people and Daniel’s. Therefore the 70th week/tribulation/covenant is decreed on the church and not the physical Jews.

(Dan 9:24) Seventy Weeks are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish transgression… Not only did Daniel’s people change after the 69 weeks when the church began but “thy holy city” changed too. As we saw in the beginning of the chapter on the Two Witnesses, Christians are members of the only “holy city” in the new covenant along with Daniel and the other righteous Old Testament saints who became believers when Jesus “went and preached unto the spirits in prison (Sheol)” (1 Pet.3:19) upon His death. The “holy city” is the city of God because it is where God lives. (Heb.12:22,23) but ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to… the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven… The 70th week is decreed upon the New Testament people of God who are the holy city at first only by faith. In the end only those who endure in that faith will manifest that holiness.

If you have followed the Word carefully you can see that 69 weeks were determined on the physical Jews and their physical city but the 70th week will be determined on the spiritual Jews, the church (including the Jewish remnant that comes in) and their spiritual city. 69 weeks were fulfilled at the coming of Jesus and the 70th week will start at the coming of the man-child.
