You know Dani, although this is a forum, what we are actually all talking about here is our eternal lives. This is the ONLY time we are getting to do this.
If this was a forum where we were all required to be just kind and let everybody feel good and its OK, then it would be fine.
I must tell you , I do not spend my time here because I need to talk, or gather a following or promote a man. Nor is it to push a false doctrine. I actually DO care what happens to people.

The fact that Julie got scared is Biblical, although she might not see it that way.We are suppose to work out our salvation with FEAR and trembling. Now why would God tell us that? The truth about the Gospel is scary to the old man. It calls for death to self. SELF resents that and tries to get away from it. That is why the false feel good gospel of our time is so popular: Everything is fine, God loves you. Nothing can cause you to loose your salvation" Whoever believes that is in very deep trouble.
This "gospel" tells everybody to ignore all the conditions of faith, required by the true Gospel. It passes it by.But in doing so , it turns itself into a killer gospel, designed to kill the believer who falls for it.

Where do you think it comes from and who brought it into the church and just why is it so popular?

So, I have said it before and I will say it again. I am not gathering a fan club,. A LOT of people do not like me, because I so not agree with this doctrine of " all is fine, just believe in Jesus" I do not believe it, because it is not in the Bible.........we have to read ALL of it, not just rip out ONE verse and build our salvation on it.
Are you prepared to place your eternity on ONE verse, when there are others that fill in the picture to become complete? I am not.

I do thank those who have written their encouragement to me. I need it, because the opposite happens as well.
We ALL should care what happens to those around us and IF we love them, we must try and help when we see something is wrong . EVEN if they hate you for trying, you must still do it.

Sorry Miki, there goes your thread................

back to Miki.

I am unsure as to why there is discord here.

Could someone please explain C's false doctrine, which apparently has an equivalence to
the False Doctrines of the JWs?

An oldie but goodie...

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Now, is that enough to have me saved? I don't know, but Jesus said it so I believe it.

BTW, my walk has not been easy

Rev 18:24 And in her(The Whore) was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all that have been slain upon the earth.

When we read this, we have to ask ourselves. If the Whore is guilty of ALL that have been slain upon the earth, can the Whore possibly be an institution? Abel was the first person that the Whore killed (according to this scripture)
So when we look at Able and Cain we have to get our lesson about the Whore there, first of all. Killing is first of all against God's Word so it comes as no surprise that the Whore would kill. She is everything that is outside true religion. In Cain, she brought "her own fruit" to offer, and when God rejected this false religion, Cain (inspired by the Whore) killed Able, who brought a true sacrifice.
So any and all false religion (even in the Protestant side) would be the Whore. All who follow not the Word, but religions of men.

Just like Jezebel killed the prophets (She is also a type and shadow for the Whore) the Whore in the end time will again stand up and kill God's people who want to serve Him alone and not the traditions of men.

C

I think that is a very true explanation C.
Following the logic, 'slain upon the earth' means killed out of base motives.
The Israelites killed lots of people, but under heavenly orders.

God killed David's ark-bearer; obviously that wasn't the work of the Whore.

The question regarding Daniel's visions, and the Olivet discourse is simply this.

Are there events prophecied in the bible, e.g. the kingdoms spoken of by Daniel, AD 70 as prophecied by Jesus that find their corroboration outside the bible? Namely in history.

Miki
Kumbaya...Yes indeed...

I've learned some subtle tactics about the enemy over the years. A great strong hold. He stands his ground and no matter what you say. He hears but receiving isn't an option. He always argues and always has a rational for doing so. It wears the saints down and they begin to compromise. We see these tactics in another form in the Mideast right now. This constant wearing away... like dripping water about to break..

I don't have an answer for it...I just know we are to occupy until he comes. That means holding our ground. It could be literal or figurative because Jesus is our ministry and he goes with us were ever we go. But there's territory of the mind as well. Lets not give back, through wearing down, what belongs to the Lord.

C... Every accusation you've made against us has been answered for you over and over again, with concrete proof, yet you stand with your face in the wind...eyes closed... sleep.gif

You falsely accuse and yet claim to love us.

You force us to defend ourselves and repeat the same process over and over again.

The funny thing is...when someone you consider a brother tells you it's not so and here is why...

by not believing them you accuse them of lying.

When we tell you our life isn't easy... that we aren't couch potatoes gazing at the sky...

When we've witnessed over an over again about

living a life honorable before men and God.

About honesty..integrity..service and faith.

About loving, sacrificial giving and long suffering.

About one day reaping the reward at the remembrance of the Lord..

When you do have to acknowledge you construe the motivation behind the testimony.

Backed into a corner you go on and on beating your drum turning a deaf ear.

With no ground to stand on you eek out doctrinal difference to give you a leg.

Next you will say "Oh no l don't do that." Then we find ourselves back in the wrong race again...having to prove what you've said by searching old posts and repeating this nasty process over and over again.

Lets keep on with the right race.

Julie..The crowd is cheering!

As I said: Sorry for taking over your thread, back to you.

Miki... your post reduced me to tears.

You said everything that I have not been able to find a way to express. Because I'm still so near to the battle line... I'm recovering. My ears are still ringing from the cannons and gun shots and my body (literally) quakes from seeing the war first hand- I wish I would have never gotten so close. Just writing what I wrote yesterday brought it all so close to the surface again.

Oh but your words bring clarity to what happened to me. I would that no one would have to go through this... which is one reason why I finally spoke. It literally broke my heart and spirit. But- there is a balm of Gilliad.

Thank you, Miki, from the bottom of my heart.

Back to the KJV Code. Thanks C for redirecting us. Before l ever read the following l had considered the thought myself. If so.... it might part the muddied waters of debate and make both sides right in a sense.

QUOTE
From The Time of The Harvest by Ray Stedman

....I want to try and put some loose ends together here. According to the promise of Jesus given to the seven churches in the opening chapters of this book, he told them in several places that he would take the church (i.e., the true believers of this present age), to be with him before this last seven-year period would begin upon the earth. This was accomplished, as Paul describes it in First Thessalonians 4, in what is called the "rapture" (or departure) of the church to be with Christ. The last word of that Thessalonians passage is, "so shall we ever be with the Lord," (1 Thessalonians 4:17b KJV).

The problem that people get into at that point is they think that being "with the Lord" in heaven means to be taken far off into space somewhere. We all have difficulty thinking of heaven as being right here on earth as well as off in space. In other words, heaven is another dimension of existence just beyond our present senses. You can be in heaven and still be on earth at the same time. As I read these prophetic passages I am more and more convinced that this will be the case -- the church is with the Lord, but the Lord is on earth during the whole last seven years. The church is with him, but invisible to the rest of the world, and ministering to this select group of 144,000 Jews as Jesus appears to them from time to time. If this is true, Jesus will be in exactly the same condition with them as he was with the eleven disciples after his resurrection, when for a period of 40 days he appeared from time to time to them. At different times and in different places he was with them, and yet he would not be with them; he would step back into the realm of invisibility after appearing in their midst. This seems to be the situation here. These are not only 12 disciples -- they are 12 times 12 times 1,000 -- all men of Israel chosen for a special work on earth during these last days. ....

Ok...Thanks Dean...I'm starting to get it a little more.

My My...

I have to add a personal note here having just read the Oct. 5th update after posting Stedman's thoughts.. blush.gif

Dean l was reading your thoughts in an email here:
QUOTE
By the way, I rarely use the computer to find anything. The only thing that the computer has found in the KJV pictographic bible code is the phrase, "I am Yeshua!" That is all.
I Love it!!!

And then you said;

QUOTE
Quite bluntly, unless the numeric is bang on, I consider a picture code spurious, let alone one that does not produce images. And "bang on" means that it must produce unending patterns that agree with the image itself and it must also interconnects with all the other images discovered in the Hebrew Bible. This is an incredibly tall order, but if it is God, then it will do just that. By means of this numeric the images should overlap one another, even those in the Hebrew bible, to tell one long pictorial story.

and the first thing that came into my mind when l read this is "Because it can be taken out of context"! It can be really in there.. but possibly wrongly applied just as surface scripture.

Dean...your explanation of the math..here;

QUOTE
When I see numbers, it is the same as reading a language. They read to me as if they were plain English. And the numbers in the bible are a language. I can read this 'language' because I spent about 35,000 hours studying them, most of that before I even heard of Bible Codes. It is this language that I, personally, find the most exciting.

Sorry Miki, I should have got back earlier.
That interpretation came to mind a while back, in fact a long while back, but I withheld posting it for some reason, perhaps because I was bored of the sound of my own posts.

Anyway, it is a suggestion, and I think it strikes a chord with the code.
Yes , she does have a veil/head covering.

Personally, I think Jesus' return is veiled in mystery.

But that's my take, I am sure that there are people who can see it all clear as daylight, and understand Revelation perfectly.

MC Master of Ceremonies

A Master of Ceremonies or MC (sometimes spelled emcee), sometimes called a compère or an MJ for "microphone jockey", is the host of an official public or private staged event or other performance. The MC usually presents performers, speaks to the audience and generally keeps the event moving. The MC sometimes also acts as the protocol officer during an official state function.

Origins
The term originates from the Catholic Church. The Master of Ceremonies is an official of the Papal Court responsible for the proper and smooth conduct of the elegant and elaborate rituals involving the Pope and the Sacred Liturgy. He may also be an official involved in the proper conduct of protocols and ceremonials involving the Roman Pontiff, the Papal Court, and other dignitaries and potentates. Examples of official liturgical books prescribing the rules and regulations of liturgical celebrations are, "Cæremoniale Romanum" and "Cæremoniale Episcoporum". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_of_Ceremonies

If I may just add my own thought here and a truth that I just cant escape,
After looking at this "code" and getting a general gyst of it, It seems to me that this is not a code.

It is a lot of jibberish of partial scripture verses that are incomplete, that are being used to try and force
some kind of meaning out of them.

I dont think that you would have to try real hard to make a picture of ronald McDonald being chased by
a giant pickle. Would that then tell us that the hamburger giant is going to be persecuted by vlassic pickles?

Then there is the fact that these "prophesies" of the owls and eye-glasses are not able to be compared to other scriptures. The word of God is the very opposite, as it always bears witness to and of itself by God
using prophets that are seperated by hundreds of years to (somehow) pen the same prophesies that their
witness would be true.

Im sorry, Im sure that Im stepping on some toes here and Im not meaning to be anything but seaking His Truth

The time is short and we should be seeking Christ through the perfect word of scripture through
The Holy Spirit without trying to manufacture other scripture.

With Sincerity In Christ,
Chris

Truth is Truth and always will be. Invention and fantacy will always be what they are as well.

Its not an issue of not looking deep enough, its an issue of trying to reveal prophesies that God has not given because they cannot be witnessed to in scripture. They may however come from another source.

The goat sits on the Medium Coeli and trys to claim his throne...but will be thrown down with the stars that turn to dust at the breath of the True Master of all who's calling all to hear...See how the word calling goes right in to he ear...

But of course this is an earth centered point of view. The God of all is outside of this nonsense.
He's calling all the shots.

QUOTE
The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey
A special read-aloud story for children (and grown-ups)
BY SUSAN WOJCIECHOWSKI
(From The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey, text copyright © 1995, by Susan Wojciechowski)

The village children called him Mr. Gloomy. But, in fact, his name was Toomey, Mr. Jonathan Toomey. And though it's not kind to call people names, this one fit quite well. For Jonathan Toomey seldom smiled and never laughed. He went about mumbling and grumbling, muttering and sputtering, grumping and griping. He complained that the church bells rang too often, that the birds sang too shrilly, that the children played too loudly.

Mr. Toomey was a wood-carver. Some said he was the best wood-carver in the valley. He spent his days sitting at a workbench carving beautiful shapes from blocks of wood. After supper, he sat in a chair near the fireplace, smoking his pipe and staring into the flames.

Jonathan Toomey wasn't an old man, but if you saw him, you might think he was, the way he walked bent forward with his head down. You wouldn't notice his eyes, the clear blue of an August sky. And you wouldn't see the dimple on his chin, since his face was mostly hidden under a shaggy, untrimmed beard, speckled with sawdust and, depending on what he ate that day, with crumbs of bread or a bit of potato or dried gravy.

The village people didn't know it, but there was a reason for his gloom. Some years earlier, when Jonathan Toomey was young and full of life and full of love, his wife and baby became very sick. And because those were the days before skilled doctors, his wife and baby died, three days apart from each other. So Jonathan Toomey packed his belongings into a wagon and traveled till his tears stopped. He settled into a tiny house at the edge of a village to do his wood carving.

One day in early December, there was a knock at Jonathan's door. Mumbling and grumbling, he went to answer it. There stood a woman and a young boy.

"I'm the widow McDowell. I'm new in your village. This is my son Thomas," the woman said. "I'm seven and I know how to whistle," said Thomas. "Whistling is pish-posh," said the wood-carver gruffly. "I need something carved," said the woman, and she told Jonathan about a very special set of Christmas figures her grandfather carved for her when she was a girl. "After I moved here, I discovered that they were lost," she explained. "I had hoped that by some miracle I would find them again, but it hasn't happened."

"There are no such things as miracles," the wood-carver told her. "Now, could you describe the figures for me?" "There were sheep," she told him. "Two of them, with curly wool," added Thomas. "Yes, two," said the widow, "and a cow, an angel, Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus, and the wise men." "Three of them," added Thomas. "Will you take the job?" asked the widow McDowell. "I will." "I'm grateful. How soon can you have them ready?" "They will be ready when they are ready," he said. "But I must have them by Christmas. They mean very much to me. I can't remember a Christmas without them." "Christmas is pish-posh," said Jonathan gruffly, and he shut the door.

The following week, there was a knock at the wood-carver's door. Muttering and sputtering, he went to answer it. There stood the widow McDowell and Thomas. "Excuse me," said the widow, "but Thomas has been begging to come and watch you work. He says he wants to be a wood-carver when he grows up and would like to watch you since you are the best in the valley." "I'll be quiet. You won't even know I'm here. Please, please," piped in Thomas. With a grumble, the wood-carver stepped aside to let them in. He pointed to a stool near his workbench. "No talking, no jiggling, no noise," he ordered Thomas. The widow McDowell handed Mr. Toomey a warm loaf of cornbread as a token of thanks. Then she took out her knitting and sat down in a chair by the fire. Thomas sat very still. Once, when he needed to sneeze, he pressed a finger under his nose to hold it back. Once when he wanted desperately to scratch his leg, he counted to 20 to keep his mind off the itch.

After a very long time, Thomas cleared his throat and whispered, "Mr. Toomey, may I ask a question?" The wood-carver glared at Thomas, then shrugged his shoulders and grunted. Thomas decided it meant "yes," so he went on. "Is that my sheep you're carving?" The wood-carver nodded and grunted again. "Mr. Toomey, excuse me, but you're carving my sheep wrong." The widow McDowell's knitting needles stopped clicking. Jonathan Toomey's knife stopped carving. Thomas went on. "It's a beautiful sheep, but my sheep looked happy." "That's pish-posh," said Mr. Toomey. "Sheep cannot look happy." "Mine did," answered Thomas. "They knew they were with the baby Jesus, so they were happy.

After that, Thomas was quiet for the rest of the afternoon. When the church bells chimed six o'clock, Thomas and his mother thanked the wood-carver and left. That evening, after a supper of corn bread and boiled potatoes, the wood-carver sat down at his bench. He picked up the sheep. He worked until his eyelids drooped shut.

A few days later, there was a knock at the wood-carver's door. Griping and grumbling, he went to answer it. There stood the widow and her son. "May I watch again? I will be quiet," said Thomas. He settled himself on the stool very quietly, while his mother laid a basket of raisin buns on the table. "The teapot is warm," Mr. Toomey said gruffly, his head bent over his work.

While Mr. Toomey carved, the widow McDowell poured tea. She touched the wood-carver gently on the shoulder and placed a cup of tea and a bun next to him. He pretended not to notice, but soon, both the plate and the cup were empty. Thomas tried to eat the bun quietly. But it is almost impossible to eat a warm sticky raisin bun without making various smacking, licking, satisfied noises. When Thomas had finished, he tried to sit quietly. Once, he almost hiccuped, but he took a deep breath and held it till his face turned red.

After a very long time, Thomas whispered, "Mr. Toomey, excuse me, may I ask a question?" Grunt. "Is that my cow you're carving?" Nod and grunt. "Mr. Toomey, excuse me, but I must tell you something. That is the most beautiful cow I have ever seen, but it's not right. My cow looked proud." "That's pish-posh," growled the wood-carver. "Cows cannot look proud." "My cow did. It knew that Jesus chose to be born in its barn, so it was proud." Thomas was quiet for the rest of the afternoon. When the church bells chimed six o'clock, Thomas and his mother thanked the wood-carver and left.

That evening, after a supper of boiled potatoes and raisin buns, the wood-carver sat down at his bench. He picked up the cow. He worked until his eyelids drooped shut.

A few days later, there was a knock on the wood-carver's door. He smoothed down his hair as he went to answer it. At the door were the widow and her son. "May I watch again?" asked Thomas.

As Mrs. McDowell warmed the tea and put a plate of fresh molasses cookies on the workbench, Thomas watched the wood-carver work on the figure of an angel. After a very long time, Thomas spoke. "Mr. Toomey, excuse me, is that my angel you're carving?" "Yes. And would you do me the favor of telling me exactly what I'm doing wrong?" "Well, my angel looked like one of God's most important angels, because it was sent to baby Jesus." "And just how does one make an angel look important?" asked the wood-carver. "You'll be able to do it," said Thomas. "You are the best wood-carver in the valley."

After another very long time, Thomas spoke. "Mr. Toomey, excuse me, may I ask a question?" "Do you ever stop talking?" asked the wood-carver. "My mother says I don't. She says I could learn about the virtue of silence from you." Under his beard, the wood-carver's face turned pink. The widow McDowell's face turned as red as the scarf she was knitting.

"Well, speak up, what is your question?" "Will you please teach me to carve?" "I am a very busy man," grumbled the wood-carver. But he put down the important angel. "You will carve a bird." "A robin, I hope," said Thomas. "I like robins."

With a piece of charcoal, the wood-carver sketched a robin on a piece of brown paper. He handed Thomas a small block of pine and a knife. He showed him how to lop the corners from the block and slowly smooth the edges of the wood into curves. Thomas copied the wood-carver's strokes, head bent, tongue working from side to side of his lower lip as he concentrated.

When the church bells chimed six o'clock, Jonathan Toomey was holding Thomas's hand in his, guiding the knife along the edge of a wing. He didn't hear them ringing. The widow McDowell said it was time to leave. Thomas brushed wood shavings from his shirt. Then he reached out and brushed two especially large pieces of wood shavings from Jonathan Toomey's beard. He thanked the wood-carver for teaching him how to carve.

Later, after a supper of boiled potatoes and molasses cookies, Jonathan Toomey went to his workbench. He thought for a long time. He sketched drawing after drawing. Finally he picked up the angel. He carved until his eyelids drooped shut.

A few days later, there was a knock on the wood-carver's door. Mr. Toomey jumped up to answer it. There stood the widow McDowell with a bouquet of pine boughs and holly sprigs, dotted with berries. And there stood Thomas, clutching his partly carved robin.

While Thomas and Mr. Toomey carved, Mrs. McDowell put the bouquet in a jar of water. She scrubbed Mr. Toomey's kitchen table and set the jar in the center on a small embroidered cloth that she had found in a drawer below the cupboard. "Next, I will carve the wise men and Joseph," the wood-carver said to Thomas. "Perhaps, before I begin, you will tell me about all the mistakes I am going to make."

"Well," said Thomas, "my wise men were wearing their most wonderful robes because they were going to visit Jesus, and my Joseph was leaning over baby Jesus like he was protecting Him. He looked very serious." It wasn't until the church bells had chimed and the widow and her son were preparing to go that Mr. Toomey saw the jar of pine boughs and the scrubbed table and the cloth. "I found the cloth in a drawer. I thought it would look pretty on the table," the widow McDowell said, smiling.

"Never open that drawer," the wood-carver said harshly. When the two had left, Jonathan put the cloth away. That evening, after a supper of boiled potatoes, the wood-carver worked on Joseph and the wise men until his eyelids drooped shut.

A few days later, there was a knock on the wood-carver's door. He dusted the crumbs from his beard and brushed the sawdust from his shirt. At the door were the widow McDowell and Thomas.

All afternoon Thomas watched the wood-carver work. When it was time to leave, Jonathan said to Thomas, "I am about to begin carving Mary and the baby. Can you tell me how your figures looked?"

"They were the most special of all," said Thomas. "Jesus was smiling and reaching up to his mother, and Mary looked like she loved him very much."

"Thank you, Thomas," said the wood-carver. "Tomorrow is Christmas. Is there any chance the figures will be ready?" the widow McDowell asked.

"They will be ready when they are ready." "I understand, " said the widow, and she handed Jonathan two packages. "Merry Christmas," she said.

Jonathan folded his arms across his chest. "I want no presents," he said harshly.

"That is exactly why we are giving them," answered the widow. She put them down on the table and left.

Jonathan sat down at the table. Slowly, he opened the first package. Inside was a red scarf, hand-knit, warm, and bright. He tied the scarf around his neck.

The other package held a robin, crudely carved of pine. A smile twitched at the corners of Jonathan's mouth as he ran his fingers over the lopsided wings. He placed the robin on the fireplace mantel so he could look at it from his chair.

The wood-carver did not eat supper that day. Instead he began to sketch Mary and Jesus. He drew Mary, then wadded the sketch into a ball and tossed it on the floor. He drew the baby, wadded the sketch into a ball and tossed it with the first. Soon there was a small mountain of crumpled papers at his feet. He picked up a block of wood and tried to carve, but his knife would not do what he wanted it to do. He hurled the chunk of wood into the fireplace and sat, staring into the flames. When he heard the church bells announcing the midnight Christmas service, he got up. Slowly he opened the drawer beneath the cupboard, the drawer he had told the widow never to open.

From it he took the embroidered cloth. He took out a rough woolen shawl and a lace handkerchief. He took out a tiny white baby blanket and a little pair of blue socks. He placed each piece gently on the floor. From the bottom of the drawer, he lifted out a picture frame, beautifully carved of chestnut wood.

In the frame was a charcoal sketch of a woman sitting in a rocking chair, holding a baby. The baby's arms were reaching up, touching the woman's face. The woman was looking down at the baby, smiling. Jonathan held the picture against his chest, his eyes closed. Two tears trailed into his beard.

When he finally took the picture to his workbench and began to carve, his fingers worked quickly and surely. He carved all through the night.

The next day, there was a knock on the widow McDowell's door. When she opened it, there stood the wood-carver, his neck wrapped in a red scarf, holding a wooden box stuffed with straw.

"Mr. Toomey!" said the widow. "What a surprise. Merry Christmas."

"The figures are ready," he said as he stepped inside. From the box, Jonathan unpacked two curly sheep, happy sheep because they were with Jesus. He unpacked a proud cow and an angel, a very important angel with mighty wings stretching from its shoulders right down to the hem of its gown. He unpacked three wise men wearing their most wonderful robes. He unpacked a serious and caring Joseph. He unpacked Mary, wearing a rough woolen shawl, looking down, loving her precious baby son. Jesus was smiling and reaching up to touch his mother's face. That day, Jonathan went to the Christmas service with the widow McDowell and Thomas. And that day in the churchyard the village children saw Jonathan throw back his head, showing his eyes as clear blue as an August sky, and laugh. No one ever called him Mr. Gloomy again.

Some people didn't have a good father..or lost their fathers... or sons...

But l guess it reminds me Malachi 4:6 in a way...Even those who don't have a father...there is a heavenly Father that will make you a son or daughter. He's in the adoption business.

The stars fall..the earth tilts... And yes l know astrologers take that into their esoteric interpretations as part of the evolution of man kind...But l didn't want to be under something that was constantly changing.

I wanted a solid unchanging Father that l could rely upon.

And since China is in the mix l wondered if God is addressing them as well?

Where does the Yin Yang Symbol come from?

IPB Image is a well-known Chinese Yin Yang symbol. Sometimes it's called Tai-Chi symbol. The Tai-Chi is from I-Ching. The I-Ching is the greatest foundation of Chinese philosophy. It’s development is from the natural phenomena of our universe. Because I-Ching comes from nature, it should be easy.

The Chinese characters of I-Ching are . IPB ImageThe second character means a book, a profound book. The first character means ease or change. Since I-Ching is easy, some people call it as "The Book of Ease" or "The Book of Changes". The original Chinese character ofIPB Image isIPB Image , which is a symbol combining the sun (top) and moon (bottom). It's easy for people to understand the philosophy by talking about the sun (Yang), moon (Yin) and universe. After observing the universe, ancient Chinese found that the universe is changing every day. Although it changes easily every day, it also has seasonal and annual cycles. From these cycles the unchanging rules are created. However, it's not easy to use the method to find the unchanging rules from the universe and apply on human activities. That's why some people think I-Ching is easy and some don't.

IPB ImageIPB Image
By observing the sky, recording the Dipper's positions and watching the shadow of the Sun from an 8-foot (Chinese measurement) pole, ancient Chinese determined the four directions. The direction of sunrise is the East; the direction of sunset is the West; the direction of the shortest shadow is the South and the direction of the longest shadow is the North. At night, the direction of the Polaris star is the North.

They noticed the seasonal changes. When the Dipper points to the East, it's spring; when the Dipper points to the South, it's summer; when the Dipper points to the West, it's fall; when the Dipper points to the North, it's winter.

When observing the cycle of the Sun, ancient Chinese simply used a pole about 8 feet long, posted at right angles to the ground and recorded positions of the shadow. Then they found the length of a year is around 365.25 days. They even divided the year's cycle into 24 Segments, including the Vernal Equinox, Autumnal Equinox, Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice, using the sunrise and Dipper positions.

They used six concentric circles, marked the 24-Segment points, divided the circles into 24 sectors and recorded the length of shadow every day. The shortest shadow is found on the day of Summer Solstice. The longest shadow is found on the day of Winter Solstice. After connecting each lines and dimming Yin Part from Summer Solstice to Winter Solstice, the Sun chart looks like below. The ecliptic angle 23 26' 19'' of the Earth can be seen in this chart.

IPB Image
The Ecliptic is the Sun's apparent path around the Earth. It's tilted relative to the Earth's equator. The value of obliquity of the Ecliptic is around 23 26' 19'' in year 2000.IPB Image

I invite those seeking an unchanging everlasting Father to come in through the door. Jesus is the gate to everlasting life with the unchanging Father...The one that won't let you down but will lift you up to eternal life with Him. He's pure Love and light... Don't you want that? You won't have to rely on the changing seasons of evolution to obtain peace. It's offered to you right now...Just like you are, through his son Jesus who died on the cross and took your place. Free!

It's free..and freedom. Grace and Mercy. What's not to want?

Wesley's Notes

1:17 No evil, but every good gift - Whatever tends to holiness. And every perfect gift - Whatever tends to glory. Descendeth from the Father of lights - The appellation of Father is here used with peculiar propriety. It follows, he begat us. He is the Father of all light, material or spiritual, in the kingdom of grace and of glory. With whom is no variableness - No change in his understanding. Or shadow of turning - in his will. He infallibly discerns all good and evil; and invariably loves one, and hates the other. There is, in both the Greek words, a metaphor taken from the stars, particularly proper where the Father of lights is mentioned. Both are applicable to any celestial body, which has a daily vicissitude of day and night, and sometimes longer days, sometimes longer nights. In God is nothing of this kind. He is mere light. If there Is any such vicissitude, it is in ourselves, not in him.

JOSH GROBAN LYRICS

"You Raise Me Up"

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

Based upon the key words that surround and form that "S", The "S" stands for Saves (the meaning of the name Jesus), and "S" for "SEE" the main point of the code --- that God is going to give His people eyes to see --- and bring in a last-day harvest of both Jew and Gentile. By these two nations, which were then chief enemies of the Church, he shows that the Gentiles and the Jews would be joined together in one faith and religion, and would all be one fold under Christ their shepherd.

Wesley's Notes

19:23 Assyria - They who were implacable enemies one to another, and both to the church of God, shall now be reconciled and united together in the service of God, and love to his church. Serve - The Lord.

Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary

23. highway—free communication, resting on the highest basis, the common faith of both (Isa 19:18; Isa 11:16). Assyria and Egypt were joined under Alexander as parts of his empire: Jews and proselytes from both met at the feasts of Jerusalem. A type of gospel times to come.

Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary

19:18-25 The words, In that day, do not always refer to the passage just before. At a time which was to come, the Egyptians shall speak the holy language, the Scripture language; not only understand it, but use it. Converting grace, by changing the heart, changes the language; for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So many Jews shall come to Egypt, that they shall soon fill five cities. Where the sun was worshipped, a place infamous for idolatry, even there shall be a wonderful reformation. Christ, the great Altar, who sanctifies every gift, shall be owned, and the gospel sacrifices of prayer and praise shall be offered up. Let the broken-hearted and afflicted, whom the Lord has wounded, and thus taught to return to, and call upon him, take courage; for He will heal their souls, and turn their sorrowing supplications into joyful praises. The Gentile nations shall not only unite with each other in the gospel fold under Christ, the great Shepherd, but they shall all be united with the Jews. They shall be owned together by him; they shall all share in one and the same blessing. Meeting at the same throne of grace, and serving with each other in the same business of religion, should end all disputes, and unite the hearts of believers to each other in holy love.

serve with—serve Jehovah with the Assyrians. So "serve" is used absolutely (Job 36:11).

uple is a mathematical term that comes from the word couple. It's on the forehead of the image.

Also this:

This is what made me think to look at the forehead as mentioned above:

QUOTE
So then, what numeric is better for communicating the idea of 'a group being sealed, some for life and some for death?'

Would it be an even "12000", that is, an 'ELS of 12000 x 12 times,' equaling 144000? Or an 'ELS of 12000 less 18, (i.e., ELS 11982)'?

Why 12000 less "18"?

The number "18" equals "6 + 6 + 6". In the bible, the number 6-6-6 parallels the number 144,000 as its opposite, (Rev. 13-14), Moreover, "18" x 12 = 216, that is, "6 x 6 x 6", for a total of 144000 less 216 (6 x 6 x 6).

And not just that, but it happens that 12000 divided by its own "18" (6 + 6 + 6) equals 666.666, as does 144,000 divided by its own total of 216, (6 x 6 x 6).

What could be a more obvious connection to all that this passage entails?

Rev 13:16-14:1 "And he causeth all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or upon their forehead; and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, even the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six. And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads."

(Recall that the 144,000 is made up of 12 tribes of 12000 each, (Rev. 7), just like the ELS of the bible code. Also note that the image of the prophetess is largely about the sealing of the 144,000 and of the wicked with 6-6-6. Thus, the image fits the numeric.)

"And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people". Also the three-dimensional "whore" house (at top right) was emphasized. Some parts of the outline of the face and owl can also be seen, along with the temple(t) above the temple of the glasses, which is above the temple in the face. I kind of left off on the KJV bible code. I felt I had said enough for now. The image here is quite vivid. It is that of a whore house atop a steeple with an unclean bird overtop it with bear-like features. It identifies itself as "Rome".

I conjecture that it is meant to be a glass house, or at least see-through, bcause all the lines that make up a three-demensional house are there, including those that are not visible to the eye if only looking from the outside.

What makes this bible code so amazing is the numeric that ties it in with all the other picture bible codes in the Hebrew. It is as if this Gentile (English, KJV) bible code is ingrafted into the normal Hebrew bible codes, just like the Gentiles are ingrafted into the Jewish native vine, as the bible says in the book of Romans.

The numeric in the KJV bible code uses 144000 (12000 x 12 letters) similar to the Hebrew picture bible codes.

And why are there codes in our Gentile English Bible, which is really unusual and odd?

It is because Bible Codes are found in our Gentile bibles to demonstrate that the Gentiles have been ingrafted into the native vine of Israel, which is very strange and unusual. For the Gentiles to be ingrafted into the vine of Israel is just as unusual as finding bible codes in an English (foreign) text.

Rom 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but [rather] through their fall salvation [is come] unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
Rom 11:12 Now if the fall of them [be] the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
Rom 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
Rom 11:14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation [them which are] my flesh, and might save some of them.
Rom 11:15 For if the casting away of them [be] the reconciling of the world, what [shall] the receiving [of them be], but life from the dead?
Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit [be] holy, the lump [is] also [holy]: and if the root [be] holy, so [are] the branches.
Rom 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Rom 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Rom 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, [take heed] lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in [his] goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural [branches], be graffed into their own olive tree?
