If y’all could pray, my sister’s husband, Bobby, was on his way home about 7pm tonight, because his mother was taken to the hospital ER and is not expected to make it thru the night. On the way home, a herd of deer ran across the road. Bobby probably braked and swerved, his truck rolled and caught fire. Unconscious, he was taken to the same ER as his mother. Bobby has two broken vertebrae in his neck and may have surgery tonight for the neck. He was not burned in the accident. He has become conscious while in ER.
I am asking the Lord to draw my sister and Bobby closer to Him thru all of this, and that the spinal fluid flow freely and properly so that Bobby will be able to use his hands and legs, and that the family have Peace and Comfort instill them, as they spend the night (s) at the hospital for this mother and son/husband.

They have sewn up the huge gash in his scalp. They did not do surgery last night. He will be in one of those weird-attachments-everywhere braces. He has use of his hands and feet. There is only a slight numbness in his left index finger.
All his 8 year old girl could do was cry that she had seen the blood all over her daddy.
He wasn’t burned in the accident because he was able to crawl out of the truck before going unconscious.
All Praise and Glory to God.
(His mother is in ICU on the 2nd floor today.)

As the deer (about 10 of them) came out of the trees Bobby braked and pulled over to the right of the road. However, the gravel that was to the right of the road started giving out and collapsing into the ditch. That tipped his truck over to the right. He kept trying to turn the steering wheel to get back onto the road and when it finally did come back onto the road, the axle and wheels pretty much just broke and straightened the U-bolts. He had no control as the truck crossed over the road and then hit a tree (passenger side) then bounced back, landing on its passenger side. His chair bolts sheered off too. He and the seat were dangling by the seat belt (no shoulder harness). Thru all of that, the sun visor is probably what cut the 4 inch gash in his head. He couldn’t get the button pushed for the belt to release. Finally it did release and he fell to the passenger window. His feet were still up on the air and he could see flames just beginning to kindle. Some how he turned himself around and kicked at the corner of the windshield to get it to release. It broke out and he crawled out of the cab. He managed to get about 10 feet away before he heard the “Whoosh” of the cab going up in flames. A passerby saw a state trooper just a short distance away and stopped to tell the trooper that there was a bad accident just over yonder. The trooper arrived probably less than a minute after it happened. She ran up to Bobby, but he is a huge guy. He told her to not try to pick him up, to let him pull himself up on her. She managed to help him to the hood of the trooper’s car. He laid on the hood and grabbed the hood at the windshield as she got back in the car and backed-away from the truck. (It had full tanks of diesel fuel and an oxygen and acetylene tanks in the back.- which launched out of the back of the truck when it turned over - but they didn‘t know it at the time). According to the trooper it was another 15 minutes before the ambulance arrived.
The hospital is a whole other story. X-rays that were showing broken vertebrae Tuesday night were showing fractures on the new scans taking Wed. He is walking and using his hands and will be in a plastic kind of neck brace for the next 3 months. God is a God of miracles. He has been miraculous though this entire event. I praise the Lord. The accident happened Tuesday night and He left the hospital Wed night, to turn around and walk back in, to see his mother. No one had wanted to tell her that he had been in an accident until they knew how things were going to turn out. She thought the entire time that all the family had come to see her - except her son. She is still alive and in the hospital.
