"My father didn't like kids, he'd rather be alone doing
his things. We were a nuisance to him! Now my teenagers
are rebellious. Suddenly, I realize why my wife has
complained all these years that I have neglected my own
kids."

This father was distraught with his belated discovery.
"Like Father, Like Son" is the proverb that came to mind.
Is it a curse or a blessing?

Children will, in some way, duplicate their parents,
especially in those areas of life where they were not
formally taught--like parenting skills, how we react to
marital frustration, family responsibilities, and even
how to have fun.

As children, we also unconsciously imitate our parents:
their values, hospitality, respect for each other, and
their love for the Lord.

Moses pointed out how important each parent's role is
in conveying who God is to his or her child.

"Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that
you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let
them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them
to your children and to their children after them."
Deuteronomy 4:7-9

Our kids learn from us, even if we don't want them to.
Can they learn about God from me?
As children, we may have to unlearn the negative examples
we have adopted unconsciously.
Are there things I learned from them that stop me from
fully appreciating who God is?




Prayer for Today!

I AM the Resurrection and the Life







The Word of God says:



Luke 14:14 (KJV)

And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.



Luke 20:35-36 (KJV)

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.



John 5:29 (KJV)

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

PRAYER:



FATHER, WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR BLESSINGS AND THAT WE WILL BE RECOMPENSED AT THE RESURRECTION OF THE JUST IN ALL WE DO TODAY



LORD, WE PRAISE YOU FOR WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD AND CHILDREN OF THE RESURRECTION IN CHRIST IN ALL THINGS TODAY



FATHER, WE THANK YOU THAT WE COME FORTH, AND THAY BY YOU WE DO GOOD, UNTO THE RESURRECTION OF LIFE TODAY



JESUS, WE EXALT YOU AND CELEBRATE THAT YOU ARE THE RESURRECTION, AND THE LIFE: WE THAT BELIEVE IN YOU, THOUGH WE WERE DEAD, YET DO WE LIVE TODAY



LORD, WE THANK YOU FOR JESUS, DECLARED TO BE THE SON OF GOD WITH POWER, ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT OF HOLINESS, BY THE RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD, THAT WE ALL MIGHT LIVE THE RESURRECTED LIFE TODAY



BLESSED BE YOU O GOD AND THE FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, ACCORDING TO YOUR ABUNDANT MERCY, HAS BEGOTTEN US AGAIN UNTO A LIVELY HOPE BY THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD WHICH WE CELEBRATE IN YOU TODAY



LASTLY FATHER, WE THANK YOU THAT WE ARE A LIKE FIGURE, BY BAPTISM IN YOU, AND THE PUTTING AWAY OF THE FILTH OF THE FLESH, HAVE THE ANSWER OF A GOOD CONCSCIENCE TOWARD GOD, BY THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST IN EVER SITUATION OF LIFE TODAY

Father?
YES CHILD...
Why is subtle change so much harder to discern then overt change?
BECAUSE YOU START TO ACCEPT THE SLIGHTLY UNACCEPTABLE. YOU START TO TOLERATE THAT WHICH IS INTOLERABLE. YOU ALLOW A LITTLE LEAVEN TO SEEP INTO THE BREAD AND IT INFESTS THE WHOLE LOAF OF YOUR BEING.
So how do I notice it at it's root, without becoming unloving or legalistic?
BY MY HOLY SPIRIT WHO LEADS YOU IN ALL TRUTH. HIS CONVICTION IS GOOD AND TRUE NEVER CONDEMNING OR UNLOVING, TO BRING YOU CLOSER TO ME AND MORE LIKE MY SON.
Father,
Acquit me of hidden faults. Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; Then I will be blameless, And I shall be acquitted of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:12-14)

Relics versus Holy Scripture

In a vision, I was shown an open book that contained rough, yellow pages. My attention was called to the middle where two pages had been torn out. Why did You show this to me, Lord?



I want the attention of My children. I want you to know that it is My desire to lead you in My truth. The enemy would like to tell you his distorted version, but My word contains pure truth and it is for your consumption.



I tell you truly that the enemy will try any method to distract. He will pull old volumes of lies out of nowhere and try to get you to believe the incomplete truth that they contain. He is devious in this way. But the point that I am making today, beloved, is that I want you to embrace My truth with all that is in you. It is life-giving sustenance. It brings pleasure, much pleasure, to a heart that will receive it.



In the past, many have searched and searched to find the truth of the living God and His whereabouts in the strangest places. Why would I, a loving God, do such a thing as hide My truth from you? I gave you My written word, inspired by My Spirit. I gave it to you freely, and I expect for you to share it freely. Don’t worry about some old relic that has been discovered that is touted to bring enlightenment in these days. Read My word. Consume My word. It will be benefit you in untold ways. It will bring true peace and happiness to your heart.



I am a God Who delights in His beloved children so much that I made a way for you to enter into an outstanding new hour. I have provided well over the years for My children, very well. I have given My truth, My Spirit, and voices that longed to speak out on My behalf. In this day, I am shining the light on My truth in a new way. I am opening revelation to those who desire to know more about Me, to really go in depth in the knowledge of the One Who is holy and true. Yes, I am revealing My truth to you through My holy Scripture in ways you have yet to see. There is a reason for this, a good reason. I want to equip you for all that lies ahead. I want to empower you. I want to draw you closer into My embrace. Be of good cheer. This is a good thing. You need not worry if this is from God or not from God, because you will see it clearly in My written word. It will not be some incomplete old relic; it will be the truth of the living God with a bright, new light shining forth, revealing My heart to you in this particular hour.



Look forward to this rich revelation that is coming your way. Look forward to Me expounding on My truth, and know, beloved, that the truth of the living God is alive, it brings life, it brings all a heart could long for, and it is given freely. It is given to whomsoever will receive. So receive and share, again I say, receive and share, for in so doing you will be accomplishing the goal for which you have been called. You will be drawing others into the safe, happy home of My eternal heart. That is the goal. That is the promise that I made to whomsoever would come. That, beloved is what you need to bear in mind in the days to come. Yes, that is the truth to which you need to hold fast!!!





I have prepared for you a season of blessings beyond what you have known. You have known rain but you have not yet experienced what I am about to do in this new season. There will be laughter and joy abounding to the Heavens. Do not hold back. Throw out you check, lean back your head and open your mouth and I will fill it with all good things. I will be raining from Heaven. You and all about you will be changed into another person. This rain will be a time of marking you for al to see My favor upon you. Rainy season.

Acts 14:16-18 "In past generations he allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways. Yet he did not leave himself without witness, for he did good by giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness. Even with these words they scarcely restrained the people from offering sacrifice to them."
