I have a problem.

I love the lord with my heart and my soul. i know that i live in him and that he lives in me.

It is hard to get past alot of things for me.

This whole world is in turmoil and people are full of sin; it abounds on this earth.

i cannot bring myself to want "money", "stuff", or "things".

The churches that i go to... they all sadden me. The public schools are corrupt; what are they teaching the children?

people drive suv's and eat processed 'who-knows-what-the-jerky-slop'

i suppose its just a sign of things getting progressively worse and worse until something explodes... or Jesus comes back... or both lol

anyway.. i suppose its just hard because the light that i have might not be recognized in this life but rather in the next...

i also have issues with seeing too many faults.. too much sin.. everywhere.

i feel frustrated most of the time...

i feel like there needs to be more that we do.. more that i can do...

i just dont feel the joy on this earth that i did when i was young. i pray that God will come back and free us from this place... this pit of sin...

It is true, people are running after evil, turn from evil and seek good.


None of those things matter, do good and store up a treasure in heaven.



Take the time to teach the children the truth.


Walk in his light and eat the sweetest fruit and savor the heavenly taste.


People are walking in darkness, let the light of your love shine, that they may find the way through the darkness.


Strive to see the Christ in your brother, there is still much good on this earth.


To find joy, look in the eyes of a little child.

Speaking of little children, I have a little niece who is only five. The last time she came to see me was in the fall and the apple tree was filled with apples. She loved those apples and ate many, enjoying their sweet flavor. Last weekend, she came to see me and the first thing she asked is, "Uncle Don, where are all the apples?" I told her, the apple tree is busy, making new apples.

In the dead of winter, the tree appears dead and barren. It is not dead and actively preparing for spring, it is forming new leaves and blossoms inside tiny packages to protect from the cold, we call these buds. All winter the leaves and flowers grow inside these buds and when spring comes, the buds burst open and the tree that looked dead is covered in thousands of blossoms, ready to bear fruit.

Still nothing is out of place and everything is right on schedule in Gods realm. The total separation of good and evil is coming up real soon. Do all that you can to acquire and exercise faith in the Lord while it is still green outside. Hear the words of Jonah and cut off the hair and put on sackcloth and Pray day and night to the Lord for protection from what is coming.
