A People Who Are Drinking From The World's Intoxicating Bowl

There is something going on in the Body of Christ that is very disturbing. Anyone walking closely to the Lord can surely sense the off-balance message that is sounding out from the pulpits across the land.
Understand this - Yes, God does want to meet the needs of His children. Yes, He wants to free them from all oppression and depression due to debt and lack. Yes, He wants to give them an abundance so that they can fund His Gospel work and be a blessing unto others.
However, it seems that this is all that some Preachers can ever preach about. And this is all that some of God's "folks" want to hear.
These same people need to take notice that there is more in the Bible than the Prosperity and Abundance Message. As they leaf through its pages, they will find that it does touch on other subjects besides "Sowing Your Seed for a Harvest."
There is a fear that these churchgoers - whether knowingly or unknowingly - are drinking out of the "world's intoxicating bowl" and don't even realize it. Instead of the Lord, His Word, and His Presence being their greatest desire, they are just like the heathen in that they are coveting after more and more of this world's goods - only under the cover of "Sow Your Seed For A Harvest."
In this world, we have the sinner manipulating man for what he wants. In the church world, the "Christian" - on the other hand - is trying to manipulate God.
Please do not misunderstand what we are saying here - we do believe in paying tithes and offerings to the Lord and also in planting a financial seed and then believing for blessings to come in return. Certainly, no one can outgive God!
But many have distorted this teaching to the point where they are more interested in the goods than the God Who supplies them!
Let's let the Word of God explain.
Psalm 61:5 says - "For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows: Thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear Thy name."
Psalm 16:5-6 says - "The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: Thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage."
Psalm 73:26 says - "My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever."
Psalm 119:57 says - "Thou art my portion, O LORD..."
Psalm 142:5 says - "I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living."
Lamentations 3:24 says - "The LORD is my portion, saith my soul..."
Ezekiel 44:28 says - "And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession."
In the above Scriptures, you find words, phrases, or statements such as - "heritage of those that fear Thy name"..."The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance"..."I have a goodly heritage"..."God is...my portion..."..."Thou art my portion, O LORD"..."Thou art my...portion in the land of the living"..."The LORD is my portion"..."I am their inheritance"...and "I am their possession."
What did the Biblical writers mean when they referred to God as their "portion"?
They meant that He was their chief good...the supplier of all their needs...and the source of their comfort, refreshment, and happiness. He and He alone was the One Who could content the desires and wishes of their spirits. While others sought for fulfillment from the things of this world like wealth, honor, pleasure, and fame - they found their God to be all and in all. All that He was and had was theirs. Hence, they asked for nothing else. He and He alone was sufficient to counterbalance all their troubles and make up all their losses.
Look around you today - not at the world - but at the Church. Just how many people do you know who can actually say with utmost zeal and confidence that - "The LORD is my portion"? Who is absolutely satisfied in just having Jesus as their source of comfort, refreshment, and happiness? Which ones are content to say - "You can have this ole world...just give me Jesus and I'll be satisfied"?
Are you getting the "drift" of what the Holy Spirit is saying through this message?
God definitely wants to bless His children.
Just read what Psalm 115:13-14 says about this - "He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children." What this Scripture is saying is that to those who "fear the LORD," He will lay up goodness for them insomuch that they will want no good thing...have the Sun of righteousness arise upon them...be blessed with more grace... have Him delight in them...and enjoy an increase of riches, wealth, honor, and spiritual blessings like knowledge, wisdom, holiness, and joy.
God takes great delight in increasing His children and their children. There is no doubt about it!
But what should the attitude of His people be in return? Should they forget Him and go after the gold - so to speak?
Read what some of the Bible Commentators had to say on this subject -
Matthew Henry said - "Those that have God for their inheritance and their portion for ever ought to look with a holy contempt and indifference upon the inheritances of this world, and not covet their portion in it." "There is enough in God to answer all the necessities of this present time." "It is our duty to make God the portion of our souls, and then to make use of Him as our portion and to take the comfort of it in the midst of our lamentations." "Those that have God for their inheritance and their possession may be content with a little, and ought not to covet a great deal of the possessions and inheritances of this earth. If we have God, we have all; and therefore may well reckon that we have enough..."
Adam Clarke said - "...he that has God for his portion has every thing that can make him happy and glorious: all are his."
Jamieson, Fausset, & Brown stated in their Commentary - "To have God for our portion is the one and only foundation and hope." "God is the all-sufficient Good of His people."
What happens when a people make God their "portion"?
Psalm 119:57 says - "Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep Thy words."
Lamentations 3:24 says - "The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him."
In the above Scriptures, it is implied that the people who make God their "portion" walk in obedience and have great confidence, faith, and an expectancy.
"I have said that I would keep Thy words."
"therefore will I hope in Him."
What picture do we get of a people who don't make the Lord their "portion" - but rather drink from the intoxicating bowl of the world?
We see a people who walk in rebellion and unbelief - those who sin a little each day in thought, word, and deed...cannot stand to hear the unadulterated Word preached for it cuts against the grain of their lusts...are full of the world and its ideas...want to be entertained and amused rather than instructed and taught...attend church to get "brownie points" with God...do good deeds for all the wrong reasons...are full of self... and depend totally upon their own resources and efforts rather than the Miracle-working Power of God.
Where is your "portion"? Or should we ask - who or what is your "portion"?
Can you say - "Thou art my portion, O LORD..." ?
We will know that when we see the fruits of obedience to God's Holy Word and the expectancy for the miraculous in your life.
Are they there?

Kingdom Shift / A Door Of Hope

I just received this amazing newsletter from David Damien describing the Kingdom shift we are in. Over the years I've been very involved with Watchmen For The Nations. David faithfully led us to the feet of Jesus at the various "gatherings", where we sought the Lord for our nation with a humble and contrite heart. This has been indispensible for revival to come.
I think God is answering those prayers in this current shift to the Kingdom. Why? Because, previous revivals have been "short circuited" by man control and our religious organization. For the "last great revival" to mightily sweep the earth in the ways prophesied, our hearts need to be purged of man's religion. We need to be totally Kingdom people, so that when the Spirit comes we advance the Lord's interest, not our own.
During the Renewal outpouring I saw various leaders (not Toronto leaders) use the move to build their own works and control others. You can have an anointing, yet not yield your heart! This grieved the Holy Spirit, and the flow soon stopped. The Lord intends to pour His Spirit through the whole earth and transform nations. He must have a people prepared, their hearts changed! That is why we are going through this transition. We will have His desire and motivation in our hearts.

A Door OF Hope

In the last few weeks, I have had the chance to connect with hundreds of leaders across the nation. Not surprisingly, as we shared our hearts, I heard the same story repeated everywhere: an unprecedented attack of discouragement, disillusionment, loss of vision and a deep sense of isolationism. As we shared, prayed and discerned together, a clearer picture emerged of what we are facing at this time.
What Time Is It?
One of the most important things we need to realize right now is that we have entered into a very significant season of transition in the body of Christ. There is a shift taking place from the church age to the kingdom age. Everything we have known about "doing church" is about to be turned upside down. Religious structures and mindsets that have not been founded on the pure word of God are being uprooted and pulled down, so God can download new revelation, strategies and blueprints from heaven to see the establishment of His kingdom on earth. This shift is critical to the end-time preparation of a glorious Bride and our enemy, knowing that he cannot stop God�s eternal purposes, is doing all that he can to "change the set times and the laws" of God (Daniel 7:5). This strong spiritual dullness is meant to make us insensitive and unaware of the urgency of the hour. It is vital that at this time, we remain self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 1 Peter 5:8-9
A Time of Pruning
Every transition in life brings some confusion because we find ourselves in a place where "what was is no more but what is to come is not yet". Before God can reveal to us what is to come, He has to prepare us by cutting off and freeing us from the forms, ways, and structures of "what was". This is a pruning period that Jesus talked about in John 15 - where God draws us into deep intimacy/abiding with Him that He may deal with the unproductive areas in our lives so that the productive areas might become more fruitful. This process can be frightening because stripping away the familiar allows for a deep exposure of our hearts. We begin to see how much of our security and trust is in what we know and what we can control. This causes a deep purification of our faith as God calls us again to walk forward in simple obedience into the unknown, ensuring that our dependency is wholly and solely on Him.
Leaving the Old
This era of the church, especially in the Western world, has been one where we have lived like the inhabitants of fictional Narnia, without the rule of the Rightful King. We have battled hard but many times it seems we have suffered stinging defeats and disgrace at the hands of our enemy. And even when we have persevered and prevailed, our victories have often come with great personal cost and suffering.
Now the Lord is challenging us that we are entering into a new age. Aslan is on the move. Our King is rousing Himself like a Mighty Warrior and He is thundering at the head of His army. He will establish His Kingdom and His Dominion shall never end.
Our King is inviting us to enter into His kingdom with Him. But there is a catch.-
Restoring Innocence
He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:2-4
In the last few weeks God has been waking me up in the middle of the night to spend time with Him. For hours He has been taking me back through deep roots and deep issues of hurts and wounds in my life, things that go back even to my childhood. Miraculously He is freeing and delivering me. I feel a tenderness returning to my heart that I haven�t felt for years. Without realizing it, the years of battle upon battle, disappointment upon disappointment, betrayal upon betrayal, had taken a major toll on my heart. Yes I developed faith and perseverance along the way, but I also lost something very precious: my innocence. And this is what I believe the Lord wants to restore in this season
Circumcising Our Hearts
Before God released the children of Israel to begin the battle to possess their promises, their inheritance, the Lord told Joshua he must circumcise everyone who was born in the desert and not yet covenanted to the Lord in this way. When this was completed, the Lord said to Joshua:
"Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you." Josh 5:9
Reproach means disgrace, discredit, rebuke or disapproval. The circumcision was a visible reminder to them that the pain and shame of their years of bondage had been removed.
Today I believe we are in a season of grace where God is giving us the opportunity to undergo a deep circumcision of our hearts by the Spirit (Romans 2:29). God is jealous over His Bride and He wants to cut deeply the roots of bondage to hurts, to wounds, to fears, to the lies of the enemy, even to things we are not consciously aware of. He wants to take us back beyond our battles, back beyond our hurts and wounds to the place where we first fell in love with Him. As we are quieted by His love (Zephaniah 3:17), we will be able to enter into rest knowing that the battle really is the Lord�s and all He is asking us to do is walk with a childlike faith, trusting in His bigness, safe and secure in Him.
A Door of Hope
The Lord spoke to me this fall that this is a time of establishing and laying foundations. What we do in these next months will determine what authority we will walk with in the next two or three years. If we will yield ourselves fully to God�s pruning in this season, I believe we will receive a greater revelation of His love than we have ever experienced before. The Lord does not want us just to carry a message; He wants us to be the message. This is the most excellent way that Paul talked about in 1 Corinthians - following the way of love.
There is a portal opened in this season and the Lord Himself, is alluring us, wooing us tenderly into the desert, into the secret place with Him. There He promises to restore us, to make our deepest places of trouble and defeat into a door of hope and to restore our innocence as in the days of our youth.
Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert
and speak tenderly to her. There I will give her back her vineyards,
and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope.
There she will sing as in the days of her youth,
as in the day she came up out of Egypt. Hosea 2:14-15

The Power Of My Word

Child of Mine, I want you to know and understand the power of My word.
My word does not go out from Me void, nor does it return to Me void.
It is sent to accomplish specific things in your life, and it is able
to do them if only you will heed it. Yes, My intent is for My word to
be a powerful force for good in your life.
Have I not told you that faith comes from hearing, and hearing from
the word of God?* My word has always been intended to cause your faith
to grow and flourish. Even from the earliest days, I set monuments and
observances in place to remind My people of My mighty works. Why did I
do this? It was because I wanted to make it easier for them to have
faith in Me.
I established the annual Passover to remind My people of how I delivered
them from their oppressors with a mighty hand and a great demonstration
of My power. When My people crossed the Jordon to enter their promised
land, did I not have each tribe take a stoma from the dry path I made in
the midst of the raging river? I instructed them to build a monument from
those stones to remind them of the mighty miracle that I did for them.
I want My people to remember My mighty words, so that their faith might
remain strong! I want them to know My character and My faithfulness,
so that they can trust fully in Me. I want them to know My power and
I want them to know My love. I have put all of these things into My
word, so that My people might know what I expect of them and how they
can please Me.
One of the primary reasons that I have given My word to you is to remind
you of Who I am and of what I have done. Believe what I have said in
Hebrews 13:8, that I am the same yesterday, today and forever. I don't
change and I don't loose My power, nor do I loose My willingness to help
My people and to work on their behalf. I want you to expect Me to do for
you the same things that I have done for My people through the ages. That
is why I have documented them in My written word--so that you might know
and believe.
Child of Mine, I have given you My word, but you must read it and become
familiar with it. I want you to mediate on it, for it will show you who
to draw closer to Me. I want you to memorize portions of it and hide it
in your heart, for it will be your strength and stability when the enemy
of your soul attacks you with waves of doubt or deception. I want you to
set your hope and expectations on Me, the God of the Bible. I have revealed
Myself to you in My word. I have shown you what I can do and how mighty
I am. I have shown you what pleases Me and what I require of you, and I
have shown you how I want to glorify My name through My people.
I want you to believe what I have told you in My word. Let it become
your standard by which you judge reality, and by which you evaluate all
things. I have told you that I want you to do the same words that My
Son did when He walked this earth, and even greater miracle than He
performed.** Believe that it is true and begin to apply it to your life.
Start to walk in My power and My anointing, just as My word says you
should.
Don't just read My words as though they have no power--don't allow them
to go in one eye and out the other. Apply them to your life, begin to do
the things that My words tells you to do. Learn what I am like from
reading My word, then call upon My name and truly expect Me to move
mightily on your behalf.
Child of Mine, I want your faith to increase and I you to know and
understand the power of My word in your life.

Amos Speaks Again

Although Amos was a farmer from a small town near Bethlehem and only 11 miles from Jerusalem, he was called as a prophet at about the same time as Isaiah, Hosea and Micah were also active. The civil war after Solomon's death had split the nation into two Kingdoms and these four prophets all warned God's people of the dangers of falling away into idolatry. Amos, Hosea, and Micah directed their prophecies more toward the North, whose fall was imminent while Isaiah focused on the South.
It was about the middle of the 8th Century BC and both Kingdoms were enjoying a period of financial prosperity, combined with political and military might unparalleled since the times of David and Solomon. These conditions were thought to be a sign of God's favor.
Someone once said that religion gives birth to prosperity and the child consumes the mother. And so it was with God's people. The more secure the two kingdoms became the more they descended into moral and religious corruption. Their prosperity caused them to ignore the warnings of the prophets and forget past judgments. With Amos God began to send the message that His patience had run out. Tired of the "form without substance" nature of their worship and their periodic ventures into idolatry, He was about to raise up two pagan nations to judge them. First Assyria would all but obliterate the Northern Kingdom, called Israel, and then Babylon would take the South, Judah, into captivity. Far from being simply a disciplinary act as in the past, this judgment would actually make Israel cease to exist as a nation, at least temporarily.
(It's hard to over look the parallels between Biblical Israel and the USA. Like ancient Israel, the USA has enjoyed God's favor and achieved previously unheard of levels of prosperity. Our political and military might have made us the undisputed leaders of the free world. And like Israel, as our levels of blessing have ratcheted steadily upward, the sincerity and intensity of our faith has gone in the opposite direction.
Worse than the form without substance religion of Biblical times, we've kicked God completely out of our schools and public places and are well on the way toward excluding Him from our churches. In the name of tolerance, we encourage every religion except Christianity, every lifestyle except the traditional family, and every morality except the Judeo-Christian. Don't be surprised to learn that God's patience with us has run out as well. The pagan nations He's sending to judge the US are already on their way, and they're from the same place as the ones He used against Israel.)
Just as it was in Biblical times God again has a score to settle with Israel's neighbors, and again the resemblance to our time is striking. Let's take heed as Amos speaks again.
Amos 1
The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa—what he saw concerning Israel two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam son of Jehoash was king of Israel. He said: "The LORD roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds dry up, and the top of Carmel withers." (Amos 1:1-2)
Uzziah reigned in Judah from 792-740 BC and Jeroboam in Israel from 793-753.
Judgment on Israel's Neighbors
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Damascus, even for four, I will not turn back my wrath . Because she threshed Gilead with sledges having iron teeth, I will send fire upon the house of Hazael that will consume the fortresses of Ben-Hadad. I will break down the gate of Damascus; I will destroy the king who is in the Valley of Aven and the one who holds the scepter in Beth Eden. The people of Aram will go into exile to Kir," says the LORD. (Amos 1:3-5)
We would call the Lord's complaints against these nations indictments of war crimes. Hazael was the King of Damascus from 842-796 BC and Ben-Hadad was his son. Valley of Aven means valley of wickedness and Beth Eden means house of gardens. Both refer to Damascus, the garden spot of the Abana River valley (2 Kings 5:12). It was a wicked place in a beautiful setting. In going after the lands of Gilead, south of the Golan and east of the Jordan, they showed no restraint. Sending the people of Aram to Kir implies sending them back where they came from (Amos 9:7)
Damascus, although conquered by the Assyrians in about 732 BC, was never totally destroyed. Isaiah spoke of a yet future destruction of Damascus so complete that no one will ever live there again. (Isaiah 17:1) The world's oldest continuously inhabited city will finally come to its end. If the predictions of intelligence experts from Russia, Lebanon, Syria, Israel and others are accurate, we could see the prophecy of Isaiah 17 fulfilled very soon, perhaps even this year.
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Gaza, even for four, I will not turn back my wrath. Because she took captive whole communities and sold them to Edom, I will send fire upon the walls of Gaza that will consume her fortresses. I will destroy the king of Ashdod and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon. I will turn my hand against Ekron, till the last of the Philistines is dead," says the Sovereign LORD. (Amos 1:6-8)
The text mentions 4 of the 5 cities of Philistia. The other was Gath from which Goliath came and which was part of Israel at the time. The Assyrians conquered the Philistines at the same time as the Arameans and later Nebuchadnezzar destroyed them completely, leaving no trace.
When the Romans conquered Israel, they re-named the land Palestine. It means Land of the Philistines and was meant as an insult to the Jews, since the Promised Land had never been known by that name. Even if today's Palestinians were descended from the Philistines, which they aren't, their claims to the Land of Israel on the basis of historical precedent are baseless.
But Gaza is once again in the news. When Israel abandoned the so-called Gaza Strip, terrorists groups of both local and foreign origin made it their home and began smuggling arms into the area in previously unheard of amounts. Today it's under the nominal control of Hamas, which is armed and trained by Iran. Having denied it for over a year, Israel is finally beginning to publicly admit that abandoning Gaza was a mistake that will have to be corrected soon, or else it'll be too late. As you read this, Israeli troops are making their first limited incursions into the territory they abandoned in an attempt to curtail the almost daily rocket attacks. But this won't be enough, and plans for a major invasion are on the table, awaiting the cabinet's approval.
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Tyre, even for four, I will not turn back my wrath . Because she sold whole communities of captives to Edom, disregarding a treaty of brotherhood, I will send fire upon the walls of Tyre that will consume her fortresses." (Amos 1:9-11)
Ancient Tyre was considered to be impregnable. The Assyrians laid siege to it for 5 years before giving up and Nebuchadnezzer tried for 13 years without success. When these armies came the residents of the mainland portion of the city simply packed up and moved into the heavily fortified portion on an island off the coast. From there they could be provisioned from the sea and carry on trade indefinitely. Finally Alexander the Great dismantled the deserted mainland buildings and used the rubble to build a causeway out to the island. He conquered the city in 7 months, 400 years after Amos pronounced the Lord's judgment.
Today, Tyre is Lebanon's fourth largest city. Hizbollah has positioned rocket launchers there and in neighboring Sidon (Isaiah called Tyre the daughter of Sidon, indicating its status as a former suburb.) Russian military intelligence and its infantry support have all but taken over Sidon. They feed real time intelligence on Israeli troop movements to Syria and Hizbollah.
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Edom, even for four, I will not turn back my wrath . Because he pursued his brother with a sword, stifling all compassion, because his anger raged continually and his fury flamed unchecked, I will send fire upon Teman that will consume the fortresses of Bozrah." (Amos 1:11-12)
The people of Edom were descendants of Esau, the brother of Jacob. When the Babylonians finally overran the Southern Kingdom in 586 BC, burning Jerusalem and destroying the Temple, the descendants of Esau helped Nebuchannezzar's troops find and capture the fleeing Israelites. It angered the Lord that they would betray their cousins, so he had Nebuchadnezzar conquer them, too. The remnant of Edom fled to Petra, a mountain hideout in the region of Bozrah. The Lord sent the Nabateans to rout them out and destroy them, vowing that there would be no survivors (Obadiah 1:10). Today, Jordan occupies the lands of Edom.
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Ammon, even for four, I will not turn back {my wrath}. Because he ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead in order to extend his borders, I will set fire to the walls of Rabbah that will consume her fortresses amid war cries on the day of battle, amid violent winds on a stormy day. Her king will go into exile, he and his officials together," says the LORD. (Amos 1:13-15)
Today we would call the lands of Gilead the East bank of the Jordan River. It was originally given to the half tribe of Manasseh, but was contended for on a regular basis. The Ammonites, descendants of one of Lot's daughters, had neighboring land and wanted the Land of Gilead, just as Aram had earlier. Their war of conquest was especially brutal even compared to the accusations we've seen levied toward Israel's other neighbors.
Rabbah was the ancient name for Amman, the capital of modern Jordan, but it's not the Ammonites who inhabit Jordan today. They were wiped out for helping the Babylonians over power Israel.
According to UN documents the Kingdom of Jordan is the official Palestinian homeland, having been created by the same stroke of the pen that created modern Israel. (Funny that no one wants to admit that.) Its population is 70% Palestinian and is governed by the Hashemite family, descendants of Ishmael and Mohammed, not Ammon.
Amos 2
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Moab, even for four, I will not turn back {my wrath}. Because he burned, as if to lime, the bones of Edom's king, I will send fire upon Moab that will consume the fortresses of Kerioth. Moab will go down in great tumult amid war cries and the blast of the trumpet. I will destroy her ruler and kill all her officials with him," says the LORD. (Amos 2:1-3)
The people of Moab were descendants of the other son of Lot's daughters. When Lot and his daughters fled Sodom, they remained separate from the surrounding people because Lot was afraid to dwell among them. This left his two daughters with no way to find husbands, since the ones they had been promised to had refused to leave with them and had perished. The older daughter devised a nefarious scheme to get her father drunk and have sex with him to become pregnant. If she couldn't have a husband at least she would get herself a son. Having succeeded, she convinced her sister to do the same. Their two sons were named ben Ammi, from whom the Ammonites came, and Moab, father of the Moabites. (Genesis 19:30-36)
Like their cousins the Ammonites, the Moabites also turned against Israel and suffered the same fate. They were conquered by the Assyrians in 715 and are no more. Today their lands belong to Jordan.
But that's not the last mention of Edom, Moab and Ammon. Having all but disappeared from the pages of history, they suddenly show up at the end of the age. At the outset of the Great Tribulation, believing Jews will heed the Lord's warning (Matt. 24:15-16) and flee into southern Jordan (Edom and Moab), holing up in the fortress City of Petra according to most scholars. The leaders of Jordan, the Hashemite family, will escape the clutches of the anti-Christ and give refuge to the remnant of Israel. There, the Lord Himself will defend them against their enemy. (Daniel 11:41, Rev. 12:14, Isaiah 63:1-6)
And so in the first portion of our study in Amos we see that history has come full circle and the Lord is once again aroused in anger against those who persecute His people. 04-14-07

"THE COURT OF GOD'S GRACE IS NOW IN SESSION--OUR FAITH WILL TIP THE SCALES OF JUSTICE"
"Signs, wonders, miracles, and the great commissioning to preach the Gospel with favor--unparalleled in human history--is the abundant evidence in this Court of Grace."
Recently, I heard this audible word, "THE COURTS OF GOD'S GRACE ARE NOW IN SESSION." I saw an unfolding vision of a real life courtroom, and the jury was entering, filing into their seats. There was a large crowd in the main audience, and I knew right away by the innumerable television cameras, that this was being viewed around the world. I then saw Jesus come into the room, and He stated, "I am ready to bring evidence and substance to prove My people's faith."
Another voice who I knew to be the Father's, then said to Jesus, "The court is now Yours to present Your case." I was immediately drawn to the Scripture in Matthew 11, as the Lord revealed to me the first session of God's Court of Grace 2,000 years ago:
"And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, 'Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?' Jesus answered and said to them, 'Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the Gospel preached to them'" (Matthew 11:2-5).
As the jury of that age was assembled for the first time, Jesus, our Advocate, presented His overwhelming evidence proving that His grace WAS sufficient. Then I heard the voice of the Lord say again, "Court is now in session again, and I will prove like no other time in history that My grace is sufficient. I will present evidence and substance that My people's faith is not in vain."
SIGNS, WONDERS, AND MIRACLES ARE HIS EVIDENCE IN THIS PRESENT COURT OF GRACE
Signs, wonders, miracles, and the great commissioning to preach the Gospel with favor--unparalleled in human history--is the abundant evidence in this Court of Grace. I heard the Lord say to the Jury of unbelievers, agnostics, Muslims, and every sort of doubter and critic, "Watch and see, I will do a work before you--that you will not believe--even if it were told to you."
As this Heavenly drama unfolded before me, I noticed again the television cameras and high-tech video recorders. I heard the Lord say to me, "My miracles will be seen in High Definition, and nobody will be able to deny or rebuke them." The Lord was making His work more visible than ever in recorded history. It would be seen on every network and television channel around the world, and feature films and secular media would become our greatest source of visibility as they recorded the great exploits of God's people.
Like Nebuchadnezzar, many of the most visible personalities in movies and media would openly and publicly confess that "Jesus Christ is Lord." I heard the Lord say, "Watch Donald Trump, for as a child he encountered Me, and I am going to remind him of his greatest legacy in the days to come. He is one of many that I will shine the spotlight of My grace on."
THE DAYS OF HEBREWS 11 HAVE OFFICIALLY BEGUN
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1).
Thus says the Lord, "The substance and evidence of all that My Church has contended for is beginning to make itself manifest. You will see the greater works and exploits you have read about for generations. The engine that will move this vehicle of greater works is GRACE, and it will enable you to do in one year what otherwise would have taken ten. The days of leaping and jumping have come again, and the great public display of miracle-working power is upon you. This will not only be in stadiums and at scheduled events, but also in the 'Gate Beautiful' and many other visible and public places."
"Many who have strived and walked faithfully for years in obscurity, will suddenly step into the great spotlight of this grace and will find themselves in the whirlwind of miracles. These nameless and faceless ones will suddenly have a name and a face, and they will magnify My name in a way that rivals the faith of those mentioned in Hebrews 11. Watch as these ones captivate millions as they are displayed on story-high TV screens, just like the ones in downtown New York City or like the monitors in the Las Vegas Casinos. The world will SEE My Glory!"
2007--THE OPENING BELL FOR THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH
"NOW is the time to contend and reach for the greater works. Like Paul, you must believe for the greater things and strive for that upward call like you never have before. As the bar is raised, I will show Myself strong on My people's behalf, opening the doors of the Supreme Court and the White House as never before. I say 'Watch and see,' for there are two more seats if you will believe! I said, 'Watch and see--there are TWO more seats if you will only believe!' Grace will tip the scales of Justice, and she will submit to My Word. A mass exodus from the abortion clinics will occur as you face the future with My grace."
I then saw a vision of boarded up buildings with "CLOSED FOR BUSINESS" signs on them in every state and city. I knew these were abortion clinics and that the Lord had wielded His gavel of grace across this land, and a new day had dawned.
The Lord then said, "The next seven years, starting in 2007, will be My appointed days of plenty. I will undo the heavy burdens of laws and legislation that have been put upon you, and this will mark the days of the greater works. I will stall the plans of the enemy in this country, and the liberty to do My work will be a plumb line before you. All that you have endured, America, is for the defense of the Gospel. I said it is for the defense of the Gospel. Awake, O righteous Church, for the day of your divine deliverance has come. And the court of My grace is now in session!"

Morning by Morning, Sunday 4-15-07 -- Worth the Wait
Good morning, Lord Jesus. You are the King of the Kingdom of God, the King of kings and Lord of lords. As the worship song says, "All hail King Jesus. All hail Emmanuel, King of kings, Lord of lords, Bright Morning Star." ...
"But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).
These are the days between the Cross and Pentecost -- the fifty days from the Passover to the Feast of the Harvest (Leviticus 23:15-17). In these days You remind us to wait for the Lord of the Harvest, to devote ourselves together in prayer for the coming of Your Spirit in power (Luke 24:44-49; Acts 1:4-5). These are days of preparation for the power of Pentecost. We persist in prayer to be emptied of ourselves and our own strength so that we can be filled with You and Your strength. We persist in prayer to be "clothed with power from on high" (Luke 24:49).
You could have poured out Your Holy Spirit immediately upon Your resurrection, but You chose to call us to wait. There is something in the waiting that cleanses our souls and prepares us for Your power. The things that come easily and quickly are often taken for granted. But as we persist and persevere, as we hunger and thirst, we yearn with eager longing for the gifts and blessings to come. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled" (Matthew 5:6). Your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Righteousness is "the promise of the Father" and You are worth the wait. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

This is a call to battle.
This is a call to war.
This is a call to stand for the Lord your God.
This is a call to do what I have called you to do.
This is a call to stand for the things of God.
This is a call to walk in victory.
This is the time to lay aside defeat.
Arise beloved arise.
Stand beloved stand.
Take the Sword of the Spirit.
Take My Word and eat it and as you do you will
be strong and do great exploits in My name.
Take the Name of Jesus and use My Name to defeat
the foe.
Arise and stand for this is a call to war for the truth
of My Word.
Get angry at the enemy and what he is doing in your
life.
Defeat him.
You have been given My authority.
The price was paid for you to walk in victory.
The price was paid for your health children.
I paid the price for you to overthrow the works of
darkness.
I have paid the price for all of My children to walk in victory.
I paid the price that you would go into the enemy's
territory and take back what the thief has stolen.
Take it back beloved.
My Sword will defeat the powers of darkness.
You are light. Dispel the darkness.
Shine your light on him and he will run.
Shine the Word of God on Him and he will be exposed.
Expose him beloved, expose him.
Warriors arise and go after Him in the power of My Spirit.
Do not relent go after him and do not back down.
Take a firm stand. Stand and hold your ground. Keep
standing.
Do not be negligent.
Arise and know My love for you.
I am your God and will lead you into the battle.
You are not alone.
You are a mighty army.
I will teach you and fight with you.
You are the army of the Lord.
Go forward.
Hear the call to war.
Hear in the Spirit the sound of weapons being
sharpened.
Hear the call to be ready.
Take all I have given you and use those weapons
of war to defeat your enemy.
Arise in the power that is in the name of Jesus.
Take your place.
Pray and intercede.
Pray in the Spirit.
Read My Word.
Worship and praise Me as you go forward with the
two edged sword in your mouth.
Cry out the Word of the Lord and declare it as you go.
Hear the sound of the Spirit of God as he is saying
follow Me into battle.
I have won already so do not fear but get armed
and advance.
Do not give up.
Fight together.
As one mighty army you shall win.

God Will Perform His Appointed Plan

GOD WILL PERFORM HIS APPOINTED PLAN FOR YOU
“Pastor, when it comes to finding scriptural promises, I don’t know where to begin.” I’m glad you asked. You can start in Job 23:14. That scripture can help to make you “fervent” in prayer.
“For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.”
You can “plant your flag” on and claim that verse for your answer to prayer!
This verse is talking about Job when he was in the middle of all kinds of adverse circumstances. Right in the middle of his pain and suffering, God’s promised and desired outcome is proclaimed: “God will bring to pass all that He has appointed for my life!” If you will continue to read on and finish the book (Job), you will see that this proclamation of faith is fulfilled. Job received back twice as much as he started with in the first place.
“And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.”
Notice that this verse says God is the One who performs that which is appointed for you.
“For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.”
You don’t have to perform it. You don’t have to try to do something to make it come to pass. He does it!
If you can lay hold of that, it will cause you to move up into a whole new realm of faith, which is exactly what God desires for you. You see, you can labor in your own strength and pray and pray and pray, but the thing that pleases God more than anything else is faith. Hebrews 11:6 says “But without faith it is impossible to please God.”
Only by faith will you come out victorious on the other side of every difficult situation you face. Rest assured, you will face difficult situations.
Your Bible, God’s book, says that Satan is the god of this world we live in. “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2nd Corinthians 4:4).
That means we are all going to experience difficulties and challenges. Jesus Himself said, “In the world ye shall have tribulation” (John 16:33). But thank God, Jesus did not stop there. He went on to say, “But be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
So even though we are not exempt from challenges, we can still go over the top in every situation once we know who we are, what we have and what we can do in Christ. We should not just expect to win the victory every now and then. God has made it possible for us to see the end, or fulfillment, of our faith come to pass every single time!

You are a royal priesthood of prayer and intercession offering holy sacrifices Acceptable to God , Which is your reasonable service. Do not be conformed to the world But be transformed by a renewed mind that you prove what is the good and Acceptable and perfect will of God.
For I have been testing and shaking my servants In my house. I have been shaking the foundations of my house. The house is being moved off its foundations. Now you must wait for the house to be placed on the RIGHT foundations - Righteousness, truth, justice with Love as the cornerstone, You must wait for my instructions. You must wait as I release the mantle of government and jurisdiction on those that I have chosen.
For I am the architect and master builder. No other building that is built will stand But that which has been laid by the Hand of My Spirit. You are My temple that I have chosen. When I am finished shaking, I will fill the temple that you are with my glory. And the nations will see the resplendent crown of glory the capstone of grace that you are in my house.
So come to Mt. Zion the heavenly Jerusalem To God, the Judge of all, To the spirits of just men made perfect To Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant And to the blood of sprinkling that speaks: Listen I will shake not only the earth but also heaven. I am removing that which can be shaken that that which cannot be shaken will remain!
Serve Me with holy fear and purity of heart! I AM a consuming fire!!!!

Dear friends:
On Mars Hill, the apostle Paul spoke to the men of Athens and said, "In Him (God) we live, and move, and have our being" (Acts 17:28).
Now, almost 2,000 years later in our age of high technology, lost humanity could also say, "In electromagnetism we live, and move, and have our being" It is ironic that technology, deified by modern man, may turn out to be the false god and curse by which humanity destroys itself. In truth, this may be a much greater threat to human life than the questionable effects of global warming, as claimed by some.
We live in a veritable ocean of electromagnetism. All the electrical and electronic devices that routinely fill our lives at home, car, work, and play emit measurable electronic radiation that travels significant distances, some greater and some lesser. This radiation invades everything, including our bodies. I am not talking about just high-powered equipment, but even the most innocuous low-powered items, even as small as a battery powered wristwatch.
We live in, we breathe in, we work in, and we play in, a sea of electromagnetism -- 24/7.
Science so-called disagrees on the danger of the modern phenomenon of electromagnetism. The the jury is still out, but evidence is interesting. The latest report from some scientists concerns the recent vanishing of pollinating bees, necessary for plant production and human life. The bees are mysteriously and rapidly dying in different parts of the world and is a cause for great alarm. The latest theory is that the cause may be the electromagnetism saturating the air caused by increased cell phone usage. Back in the 1980s I lived in a house with an electrical power line running in the wide easement area adjoining my backyard. One day the power company decided to upgrade that line to handle the very high voltage needed to meet the increased power demand in that section of the city. Some activist neighbors organized and protested, calling in experts and citing scientific studies trying to prove that such proximity to power lines causes cancer. The power company brought in its own experts, trying to prove it did not. They obviously had a vested financial interest. Of course, we also had a vested interest -- our health. Guess whose vested interest won? Money won. Money trumps science. Just ask the FDA. The power lines went up.
In the process, the power company sent out an engineer to my house to make some measurements for me. He showed me the relatively low voltage levels caused by the power lines versus the higher levels that emanated from such innocent things as my TV, small appliances and even the AC outlets on the walls. I was surprised at the relative levels of such seemingly harmless items I lived with every day right in my own home. It's the same with yours.
But the whole exercise demonstrated to me the ocean of electromagnetism in which we live.
What can we do about it? Not much, unless you want to become a hermit in the woods somewhere, or maybe wear a protective metal suit like the tin man in The Wizard of Oz. Even then you will still not escape it all. Our atmosphere is saturated with it.
Is there real harm? I do not know, but I am suspicious. For example, our bodies are comprised of about 100 trillion cells, the incredible complexity in each of which is compared to all the activity going on inside the New York Stock Exchange. This activity is largely electronic or electro-chemical in nature. And each of these 100 trillion or so cells is constantly bombarded by external electromagnetism impulses of varying cycles and voltage levels. I cannot imagine that there is no effect.
Bottom line: Life is hazardous to your health. Our only hope is in Jesus and His constant protection. His protective power can transcend any human-made or natural hazards. Trust in Him.
"This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" (1 John 5:4-5).

“I AM Raising a People…”
“I AM raising a people, My Beloved, a people much loved by My Heart of Hearts. I AM raising a people who will believe in Me for more than the salvation of their soul from hell. I AM raising a people who want to know Me, as I have known them, and who will follow Me wherever I take them, whether high or low; to them, it will make no difference, so long as they are following Me, for I will be their food and drink; I will be their sustenance; I will be their God in Whom they will trust for every need in their life. They will trust Me fully to do what I say I will do and not doubt My goodness, thereby blocking My blessings from them, then telling one another that I AM not the God I was in the days of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, that I AM no the of My Word, that times have changed and I no longer perform miracles in this time but I say unto those who speak this against Me: you receive not because you harbor doubt in your heart, for if you did not doubt My Word and My Heart toward you, you would see My glory extended toward you in ways you cannot imagine. Instead, many sit and complain about having a hard time and all along, if they would look at their own heart and be honest, they would find doubt in their hearts…much doubt…doubt that I AM Who I say I AM, and that I will still move to save My Beloved from the snare of the fowler. My heart aches at these accusations but I allow them to happen for, soon enough, those who doubt Me will see My Glory in those who did not doubt My Words to them, even though they waited years and years to see it happen, waiting in pain and darkness, listening to the enemy berate them for believing in such a God as Me but still they held on, because I enabled them to hold on.
I have put it in everyone to have faith; it is a choice one makes in this life I call you to…to either believe or not believe. My Son spoke that day in Bethany that if they would only believe, they would see the Glory of God. They believed and a man dead four days, a man Whom only the power of the Messiah could touch, got up from his tomb and walked out into the sunlight, wrapped in his grave clothes. It was with great joy that My Son said, “Loose him and let him go…”
It’s with great delight that I say the same today but I AM unable to say it often, for mostly what I see among My Children, My Beloved, is gross unbelief, holding onto the dead traditions and the stale denominations of men, hoping to see my glory in something of this earth but I say unto you, it will not happen! I shout it out: “New skins for new wine!” Let there be a great movement of faith in My Beloved toward Me. Let them be loosed from their old ways and come to Me to believe and be healed of their unbelief. Let them shake off the dust of doubt which has so long plagued them and say with joy, “THIS is the day my Lord has made and I WILL rejoice and be glad in it!”
My Beloved, I AM calling you to a time of healing and miracles such as this world has never seen. Read the Acts of the Apostles and know these works will be done in these days…these works and more. Peter stood and preached and thousands were saved. The lack of silver and gold sent a lame man hurtling through My Temple, his twisted ankles straight and strong, made well by the power which dwelled in those who followed Me. A young woman lay dead as her loved ones wept over her, showing my servant Peter the works of her hands but they did not weep for long, for it was My delight to raise young Tabitha back to life, as it is My delight to do the same today! You see the dead upraised because you do not believe…
After Philip baptized the eunuch, I translated him to another place, for I AM not a God Who is held by the chains of your time. No, I AM TIME! I can do anything I choose and I will choose to move many of you from place to place in an instant, for time is short and why waste money of travel tickets when I can take you there for free!
I say to you, My Beloved, believed and rejoice! The time is now to break the chains of yesterday. All you need do is come to Me and believe! Let us do this thing together, you and I! Come…take My hand…take My hand and believe for the first time in your life that I Am your God and I desire to do good things for you. Come…believe…and walk as My servants walked of old. It is time for the old to fall to the wayside, to make way for the joyous new days ahead!
Come and believe in Me and I will make the dreams I have placed in your heart come true! I AM raising a people who believe in Me. Come and believe and be that people!”
