We often try to make religion more complicated than it needs to be, with wordy arguments no one can follow, when in truth the answer is simple.

Love the LORD your GOD with all your heart and soul.

If you do this, you will naturally follow his word and commandments and love your neighbor as yourself, for you love HIM.

He hath shewed thee, O man what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do just, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with thy GOD.

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger.

Love one another. For it is the love of members of this forum that has inspired me and encouraged me to write this. And they have made my heart to sing, "Glory to GOD".

We need to be like little children. A small child does not question, where his father takes him or worry about what food he will eat, he simply trusts.

Oh my sweet brother in Christ! Such words of truth that you have spoken. I just had to smile as I was reading this post because if there is anyone here on this forum that shows such kindness and love to others that would be you Mister Don! This in turn shows me the Love that you have for the Father by the Love you show us here! I am very blessed to call you my friend! One of this days either here or on the other side I will be waiting for my hug! Thank you for precious heart! When I look at you all I see is the Father staring me back in my face! This is what I continually pray in my own life for others to see Jesus in me!

You are correct that it is not complicated. But you must know who and where the Lord God is and what pleases Him.
Unfortunately most don't know who or where the Lord God is. So they Love the Lord God of their imagination. They make up all kinds of religions fixed around their imaginations. Then they go out and gather followers and sell their imagination for offerings.
Jesus Christ as witnessed by Matthew, John, Jude, Peter, and James, is the true Lord God. Read who the true Lord God is and what He taught and what He said to do and then do it. When you get this far then you Love the Lord God.

John 14
21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."
22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?"
