My mother in law somehow had her debit card info stolen and now has over $900 worth of charges that she didn't do. She hasn't been out of the state of Missouri in years and never to Louisiana but somehow her card was being used in New Orleans. So now her and my wife are calling everyone on God's green Earth to get this straightened out. mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

Will keep her in my prayers......

There have been many companies that have been broke into......I wish I could remember the big companys....it was on the News......

We need to put our photo on the back of our credit cards.....also was told to only use initals.....never put you name on your checks.... Only put your address....no phone numbers....or Social Security numbers. Take out your register of keeping track of your checks. They can know where you shop!

Photo Copy everything you carry in your wallet.....credit cards, gas cards, medical cards, EVERYTHING. Put it in a safe place so if you lose your wallet or purse or check book......you have all the information. Have the numbers ready to call these people. Call the police.....it helps to file complaint if one ends up going to court....it shows your concern! That's what we were told at the Bank.....my husband lost our check book twice in six months!!! wacko.gif ohmy.gif It was the same jacket he was wearing. Now he uses a zip pocketed jacket!

So sorry I know fear and aniexity can overwhelm you.

I'd try to Google companies that have been broken into and Idenities stolen and see if she is on the list of one of those companies......just a sugestion.

God bless <>< wub.gif
