The internet while useful often cannot give a more comprehensive view of a topic at any given website but often offers snippets of information regarding specific issues.

I did however, find an excellent resource which should provide an excellent introduction to flood geology before I tackle a book on the subject (for example a book like: Genesis Flood by John C. Whitcomb, Henry M. Morris ).
