Very cool!

I have been sharing the Biblical account of JESUS Death with my grandsons. My oldest grandson, Christian, asked many questions about JESUS...I told him that this was the real EASTER story!
One of the artistic crafts we did together was make a cross sun catcher. I used some crayon shavings(just a little bit) two sheets of waxed paper..that the shavings went between, and were ironed slightly to melt them..after this we sandwiched that between to peices of construction paper that had a "cros"s cut out. Once it is all put together, we added some ribbon to hang it in the window.

We had a great time putting it together and Momma and Daddy just loved the boys gift to them. We also made Easter Cards that were a puzzle for momma and daddy...for tomorrow.

Next year I am thinking about adding some of the Passover story to our reading and maybe even addding some plagues to our luches...then showing how JESUS was the Passover Lamb.

Have a blessed Easter!
