WISDOM AND CHILDLIKENESS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This morning I had a dream, I would tell the dream first, then share my understanding of this dream.
DREAM: I was in a college dorm building. As I went downstairs, I realized that I needed the wisdom of the Lord badly to help me with my daily life. Then I thought of a highly respected servant of the Lord, who had wisdom as far as I knew, I decided to visit him and sought of His advices of wisdom. I came to the basement to look for him, this basement was the lowest floor and it was below the ground.
I saw there were many dorm rooms there, one after the other. I decided to walk by each room to search for that servant of the Lord. When I walked in the hallway, I looked carefully at each room and only saw the kids there. I searched for quite a while and I didn’t see that servant of the Lord at all. Then I felt a little disappointed and started questioning the following in my mind: “This place is only for kids and that servant of the Lord shouldn’t be here.” As I pondered this, I passed by a room, I looked inside and I was surprised to see that servant of the Lord there. He was very involved in playing with the kids there. I looked at him and saw that he was watchful and was conscious of my presence as I passed by. (end of the dream)
Understanding: When we become humble and simple like kids, we will receive the wisdom from the Lord. That is why the servant of the Lord who has wisdom was found dwelling with the kids.
Message: The Lord calls us to walk with Him with a humble and simple heart. When we become teachable and lean hard on the Lord each step, we will have His wisdom and we will walk in the grace of the Lord. Since He gives grace to the humble and He resists those who are proud and arrogant.
Related scriptures:
“At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.” (Matthew 11:9)
“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” (Proverbs 11:2)
“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.” (James 3:13)
“We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” (1 Corinthians 2:6-8)
“My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Colossians 3:2-3)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FROM SANDY:
WISDOM CHOOSES THE CHILDREN:
I especially loved the part of Tao’s dream where the servant, who represented Wisdom, had chosen to be with the children. He was not out building a famous ministry and great ambitions elsewhere. Instead, He chose to remain with the children. That REALLY blessed me. This week I received a newsletter from a little 7 year old girl called Jordan. She is highly gifted in the prophetic arts and the Lord inspired me to write her a confirming letter about the things she shared in her newsletter. I felt such a strong anointing on what I wrote, and I felt the Lord’s heart over this child, that tears poured out of me as I wrote that simple, but strongly confirming letter to her. I believe Tao’s dream and my experience is a confirmation to God’s heart for us to give our time to confirming and establishing the children in the Lord.

Hi, LoisFaith2000...
I totally agree with you and Tao Jin... I have mentioned this on a couple of other threads; this is what Christ meant when he placed a child in the center of the adults and said that to enter the Kingdom of Heaven one must be like a child. I call it the "State of the Eternal Child".
Have you ever notice that when a child confronts a mirror for the very first time, they initially and actually believe the self-reflection is that of another being; this is the "State of the Eternal Child", where one is "dead" to the self and transfixed upon the world outside the self, and most importantly affixed upon Christ (Christocentric or Theocentric). It’s like the two love birds that are selflessly engaged with one another, their gaze is always upon the other.
When we step into the innocence of this child-like state is only when God can truly work through us due to our “selflessness”. Thus, He can empower us with True Power, which is diametrically antipodal to how the world attains power, i.e. “self-seeking power”; and we can also rest in the “eye of the storm”, being a type of “Kingdom of Heaven” on Earth that is above the Chaos surrounding us on Earth.
The world tells us (as well as the Eastern Mystic teachings) that in order to “find the self”, one must “look into the self”. This couldn’t be more further from the Truth. In reality, we “find the self” only when we “look away from the self” and “loose the self”; Saints like Brother John, Mother Theresa, and others knew this all so well; and this is what Tao Jin is saying, to enter the “State of the Eternal Child”.
