this is what my friend said:
ok i want someone to try to tell me what my subconscious is trying to tell me
my dream:
I was living in this town (or i traveled to it, i forget)
and there was this prophecy that one day the Virgin Mary will come back and give birth to Jesus once again
and then one day the prophecy came true
I distinctly remember seeing the Virgin Mary walking diligently like she knew what had to be done (i never actually saw her face, or any part of her body, just saw her walking with a nun type outfit, however not black and white, just some dark shade of teal)
She was walking to some building
Nobody wanted to bother her
Later i went to the building and heard that Mary had given birth to Jesus again
at first i didn't want to see Jesus because i knew it would be kind of awkward, but then i asked myself why i wouldn't want to see Jesus.
Then i went into the building and saw Jesus (i don't think Mary was still there i forget)
and we looked in each other's eyes
Now I'm not a very religious person, i am a Christian but i dont go to church every Sunday and i am an amoral person.
I'm not really paying much attention to Easter coming up soon.
I assume it is rare that people dream about Jesus, and if they do it is rare that they actually picture Jesus, and even more rare that they picture baby Jesus.
so can anyone use their psychoanalytical abilities and tell me what my subconscious is trying to reveal?
Dear LemuelReyes...
Everything in your dream is YOU, and it deals with the status of your “Rebirth” in Christ. When a Christian becomes a Christian, they accept the spiritual principle put forth by Christ that you must undergo “Rebirth” and become “Born-Again”. Thus, the imagery that you relayed from your dream of Jesus being born all over again has everything to do with your own status as a “Born-Again” Christian, and your spirit’s need to rekindle your Rebirth status in Christ.
The dream seems to indicate that you are doubting your Salvation in Christ, as conveyed by your initial reluctance to “see”, confront and acknowledge the Reborn Jesus, which is also reiterated by your own admission of amorality and lack of interest in Sunday Church. Combined, this portrays a “lukewarm” Christian who is not committed with any form of fever to Christ.
Yet, the Virgin Mary in your dream is your repressed feminine nature, your “pure” side that “knows” with “diligence” the absolute “need” to reconnect with the “Born-Again” and “Rebirth” experience, and longs to commune eye-to-eye with Jesus. However, your rebellious side is hindering this process. The etymology of the name “Mary” literally means “rebel”, and can be applied in either way, “rebel against God” or “rebel for God”. The presence of this aspect tell me that you have all the potential to become a “Mighty Warrior Rebel for God”; this is exciting, but you need to get serious, turn around and apprehend what is being presented to you, putting off the “rebel against God” nature in you... another form of rebellion can also be passive inactivity where one merely shuts down, a "benign-rebellion" called "passive-aggressive" that is not overt rebellion.
It is your spirit that has manifested this dream and yearns for you to reconnect with Christ, a “recommitment”. Hence, the imagery of the dream is the idea of becoming “Born-Again-Again”, revitalization and renewal in Christ.
Simultaneously, the “Baby Jesus” in your dream is symbolic of the status of your very own Salvation; it has not “matured” much, and remains in its “infancy” state, because you have not seriously apprehended and taken pro-active action to “engage” in your Christian journey and walk with Christ. Everyone is rooting for you, Father God, Christ His Son, the Holy Spirit, and your own spirit… to “recommit” and “reengage” in Christ so that you may spiritually grow profoundly and step into what magnificence the Lord has waiting for you. But you need to be the one who decides your fate. So be embolden in Christ to move forward; your rewards shall be mighty.
Ironically, though, the dream reveals that your powerful recommittment will come true... "there was this prophecy that one day the Virgin Mary will come back and give birth to Jesus once again and then one day the prophecy came true."
Bless you!
