Remember in the dream God commanded me to sing? I thought He may be referring to the gift of poetry He has given in me. In past dreams, He assured me that this from Him and the poetry (poetry in ancient times was called a song, to recite a poem called singing, even though you are just reciting it) glorified Him. Just this past Friday I got another request from Noble House to submit a poem to them so that it could be published world wide in a collection of poetry. I am both nationally and internationally published poet, and even though some publishers tell me not to write about GOD and that will disqualify me as they don't want to be seen as supporting any belief in GOD, I did so any way, and the editors, who do not agree with the publishers' rules sometimes, have them published anyway. Certainly, this is GOD at work. In the poem I submitted to Noble House in London, England, I started with describing the misery people enslave themselves in, though they claim to be free, they enslave themselves to sin and that sin leads to suffering without end. Mid way, I explained how I sought God's face, and His glory and His love made me realize we can never be truely free without Him. At the end, is a plea to all people to give up their slavery, to surrender one another and seek to become loving people as GOD intended. I feel like the poem is like a final desperate plea to the unsaved to come to GOD before destruction is let loose on the world. That is how I feel. I asked GOD to inspire and the Spirit gave me the feelings first, then the words, then the final draft. Off it goes to be reviewed by the editor. May GOD use the editor and the poem!
So you are an nationally and internationally published poet! Congrats!

why spanish?
do you speak spanish?
is the Abaddon spanish?
Javier Solana is a Spaniard from Spain.
That's what I was wondering, Dennis. Exactly the same thing. There must be some significance to the fact that it was in Spanish, but maybe not what we're thinking. Right now Hugo Chavez seems more in league with the bad guys than any other Spanish-speaking person I can think of, but my brain is foggy, too.
And that's incredible about your poetry, flyingsquirrel! You can reach so many people that way! The way I see it, there are several groups that read poetry. There are the good salt-of-the-earth people that just like poetry because it's beautiful, and those people are probably pretty reachable, and then there are the intellectuals who study it in universities, who are usually not as religious as the other group. Maybe you can reach some of those. They are the ones who don't want religion mentioned in the poetry, but maybe they'll be touched by it anyway. You are one special person!!!!!
There's nothing strange to that. I myself dream in three languages: French, English and German!
