First thing l've been thinking about:

I've been thinking about how faith at it's best and most comforting is trust in the eternal. We aren't always saved from martyrdom...Paul knew his fate...Stephen said yes...and Jesus showed us how to die.

It's OK to die...We don't need to be whisked off the hill by perfect timing...or healed. It's enough to know eternal salvation belongs to us. Living in the moment could be swept away and all our earthly dreams with it. There is some sadness to it...like an old scratched record or CD stored away. But the music never dies. It continues to play..It's never lost.

Second thing:

I've also been thinking about Saul and Agag the Amalekite ruler ... God took the anointing from Saul because of disobedience and he never gave it back or changed his mind..Did Saul become like Agag?

Was Agag a tare? What makes a person a tare. You can't turn into one...You have to be born that way. Your race doesn't make you a tare because we've seen numerous examples of all peoples from every race turning to God. So what causes God to use this parable? And what about Saul?

(I've also been thinking how annointed music drives the devil away as with Davids music played to Saul.)

I've been thinking about how when someone is disobedient in the church and we follow the procedure by going to them...then bringing an elder with us and finally turning the person over to Satan for a time to try and save the soul...Is this what happened to Saul when God sent a devil to him? It seems like he was sorry but couldn't get free because God kept the devil there...Did he go to heaven?

Third thing:

The Sun and rain fall on all. I've been thinking about how God is working through Jesus and the Holy Spirit to convict the world of it's sin and particularly how he works in the life of an unbeliever and never recieves credit. Always drawing and orchestrating circumstances...saving us from an untimely death till we say yes to eternity. He never gets thanks or credit until or unless, the person comes to the Lord and can reflect back on it. So why should we always get credit...public notice. Jesus goes on working without it.

4th thing...

The cut off point...When is enough enough? When is the deal sealed...? When does God quit drawing? Or does he? I believe he does. He seals a person over to a fleshly walk unto death. Do you think l'm right? Someone who's known God but wanders away? Is it even possible to know God and wander away? For myself l know as long as l stay in prayer l won't wander far. Saul still believed...Did he get the same fate as Agag? I just don't think so but l could be wrong.

These are the things l've been thinking about lately. How about you?
What have you been thinking about lately?

Your asking does God get fed up, because the world in which we are in keeps sinning.

He does tell us of his coming judgement...and this alone is to make us aware to WORK OUT our SALVATION with FEAR and TREMBLING.
Do I want to upset God, NO...Do I want to please God, yes...But if I have an unforgiving spirit towards myself or others will God forgive me. He tells us that we are to pray for our enemies...and that we are to show mercy...but he also tells us that some of the Wicked will remain wicked, and that he hardens hearts for his purpose and so that the GLory of the LORD can be seen.
We don't often hear of stories of mass murderers, serial killers, and just plain mean people repenting, even though we still are not to judge them, under the law we are to judge them by are apointed judges and judical systems...but it it's God's law that God will judge all...
What is God's law.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

and the second commandment: Love the Lord with all your heart and with all your spirit, and love your neighbor as yourself..

In this furfills all the prophesy.

We are also told, that there will be a judgment day...and we are also told that the dead will rise from the sea and the graves, and THAT EVERY KNEE WILL BOW and EVERY TONGUE CONFESS that JESUS IS LORD..

Just think Miki, that means we will all be right there, what a glorious moment to see JUSTICE SERVED.

GOD DOES LOVE US ALL SO MUCH.

have you ever seen that movie where this women meets a man in a restaurant and he is Jesus...

and he askes her what number would you place yourself between say Hitler and yourself as far as righteousness?

hard to answer that one...although I would rather tend to think I could never do the things unspeakable things and thoughts that he had.

But God sees us all differently...and he also sees the urepentive hearts and the repentive hearts, and hears our every prayer, for ourselves and others.

hard to pray for one whom has commited such atrocities, but we are commanded to.

We are also called to pray for Israel...but you don't hear much about them in our churches today.
