The Peak Bloom Date and Blooming Period

The Peak Bloom Date is defined as THE DAY in which 70 percent of the blossoms of the Yoshino Cherry trees are open. The date when the Yoshino cherry blossoms reach peak bloom varies from year to year, depending on weather conditions.

Cherry Blossom Festival dates are set based on the average date of blooming (April 4), but nature is not always cooperative. Unseasonably warm and/or cool temperatures have resulted in the Yoshino cherries reaching peak bloom as early as March 15 (1990) and as late as April 18 (1958).

The Blooming Period starts when 20% of the blossoms are open which is still several days before the Peak Bloom Date and can last as long as 14 days; however, frost or high temperatures combined with wind and/or rain can shorten this period.

I believe, the ‘sudden without warning’ destruction on some of America’s major cities could very well come this week, as the Peak Bloom Date will arrive. God’s word in Isaiah 18:4 refers to its arrival as when the “bud is perfect”.

It follows the same pattern as Isaiah 34:8 and 63:4 vengeance and almost simultaneous deliverance!

Isaiah 34:8 For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and the year of recompense for the controversy of Zion.
Isaiah 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

Can we get past this year is the question, last year I said yes, but the vision of 2300 days is too deep in the countdown (557 days as of 4-2-07) for us to see the chart below in 2008.
