We are living in the time of JUDGES today………..The world is trying to live without King Jesus, which results in chaos, sin, confusion, and every man does that which seems right to him.

Judges 17;6……..In those days [there was] no king in Israel, [but] every man did [that which was] right in his own eyes.
Jdg 18:1 In those days [there was] no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day [all their] inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel.
Jdg 19:1 And it came to pass in those days, when [there was] no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehemjudah.
Jdg 21:25 In those days [there was] no king in Israel: every man did [that which was] right in his own eyes.

Towards the end of age of the Judges (the Age of Grace, the Church Age), we have a beautiful, tender, Love story,………the Book of Ruth, which speaks of the Love story between Jesus and the Church, today.
Ruth was a gentile, like the Church……she was poor, adopted into Israel, came out of un-godliness and false religion, Ruth cleaved unto the God of Israel (Jesus), ………Ruth (the Church) is busy at harvesting (making disciples of Christ),…..Ruth obeys the words of Boaz,……….
Boaz is a Christ-figure……rich, a Godly Israelite, a Kinsman-Redeemer (like Jesus), Boaz is loving, kind, gentle, and IN LOVE with Ruth. Boaz (Jesus) purchases Ruth (Church) to be his wife.

Ruth 4;13,17
………..

Saul is a picture (fore-shadow) of Anti-christ……….He is man’s choice of King over Israel (not God’s Choice).
Jacob prophesied that Shiloh (Messiah) would come from Judah…..(Genesis 49;9-11). Saul was from the tribe of Benjamin……..God never intended that Saul should start a Saul-Dynasty of Kings over Israel.
Saul tried to become a Priest-King, which was a sin. The only Priest-King in the OT was Melchizedek, who was a type of Christ………so, Saul was trying to become a priest-King LIKE CHRIST (just as antichrist will try to be LIKE CHRIST…….king/priest/God).

Saul persecuted the Lord’s Chosen Anointed (Davidic) King, David, and David’s men. Just like , the a/c will persecute Christ and the people of God.
An evil spirit came upon Saul. The antichrist will be indwelt by, and controlled by, Satan. 1 Samuel 18;10.
Both Saul and the a/c will die on the battlefield.
Both consulted witches (demons, occult). And rejected God.

David is a picture of Christ.
Both are born in Bethlehem.
Both are, first, rejected and despised by his brethren, later, he is accepted by his brethren. (2 Samuel 5;1-3)
Both did great exploits for God.
Both are so humble, and love God so much.
David is despised , because he is so Christ-like and humble.
……..
The focus and high point of the book of Ruth is the Wedding, which we Christians (today) long for.
Notice,…….the Wedding occurs BEFORE the appearance of Saul (the Anti-christ). Which may be a hint that the rapture will be BEFORE the appearance of the a/c.

Saul (desired) is a type of the antichrist. …….1 Samuel 10;18-19
The people rejected the True God, and welcomed Saul, a King, a mere man.

Verse 23 ……….Saul was tall and handsome…………he was attracive to the people …….in a fleshly, carnal, earthly way.

Verse 6……..the Spirit of the Lord came upon Saul…………later , a demon would possess him.

1 samuel 9;21……..Saul started with humility……….later, his brash, reckless, un-godly zeal would be sinful.

1 samuel 13;13………god foreknew that saul would be dis-obedient to the Lord, so, the Lord predicted that the Messiah would be from the Judah tribe…………..
David and Christ was from judah.
Saul was from Benjamin.

Verse 14……..David was “A MAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART”………the heart speaks of love………no-one loved god more than david,…….(except Christ Jesus)

1 samuel 15;1-35
verse 11……….saul dis-obeyed God

verse 17………..saul was small and humble,……..when god made him king of israel

verse 22……..to obey is better than sacrifice…………saul didn’t obey god’s word

verse 23……..god rejected saul as king

1 samuel 16;11…………david was the YOUNGEST……which is code for HUMILITY

david was despised because he was christ-like (humble, loving)

verse 13………the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward……
in everything david did,…..god gave david VICTORY…….

Verse 14…..an evil spirit from the Lord tormented and troubled saul……(just like the a/c)

1 samuel 19;18-24………the Spirit of the Lord came upon saul and saul’s men, so that they stripped and prophesied all day and all night, against their will (they wanted to kill David)

don’t be surprised if the a/c preaches the Gospel.

Saul = the anti-christ

1 samuel 20;1……….david is sinless (just like Christ)

1 samuel 28;7………saul (the a/c) prays to the dead (necromancy)……..divination, occult

Solomon (peaceful)……..is a type of Christ in the Millennial Reign…….(solomon before his apostacy)

1 Chronicles 22;9……..a reign of peace and quietness
Solomon was RICH, POWERFUL, WISE,
He made silver in Jerusalem as plentiful as dust……….he was rich in gold.

Psalm 45
1 samuel 17;42

these describe Solomon’s appearance (perhaps Jesus’ also)

the kingdom of israel was in it’s GOLDEN AGE.
Large treasures

2 chronicles 9;1……..the queen of sheba came from afar to hear from Solomon’s wisdom

verse 8……..god loved israel, and established israel FOR EVER

verse 13…..solomon received 666 talents of gold in one year

verses 20-28……silver was as dust……..all the neighboring kings brought gifts and tribute into jerusalem,…….and the kings of the earth sought out solomon for his wisdom

this is a TYPE OF THE MILLENNIAL REIGN OF CHRIST

Dennis this is really interesting... I have never heard it quite put like this. I will have to do some searching out for myself.

I have looked at the possibility of James through Jude being lined up with the Tribulation. James starts out with .... James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad. greeting. Then continues on with each book lining up with a year in the Trib.

Anyway thank you for sharing this I look forward to searching through these books you have listed. This is certainly a challenge I enjoy.

psalm 45 is a Messianic Psalm............jesus spoke of what was written of Him "IN THE PSALMS".

King Saul is a TYPE of the GREAT A/C OF THE TRIB.

the pope is a fore-runner..TYPE of the THE A/C........(ot the false-prophet of Revelations).

the RCC is the form of the BABYLON THE GREAT world-wide-religion of the Trib.

the pope gives his Cardinals and bishops "SCARLET AND PURPLE" robes to wear.

King Saul foreshadowed this SCARLET in 2 Samuel 1;24

all of those popes, cardinals, bishops, priests of the RCC.........wear dresses, just like women..................this is the fulfillment of the SHADOW of the women-wearing-scarlet in this bible-verse in 2 Samuel.

This is excellent. I thoroughly love parallels. I really liked the chronology of it all, thanks for sharing it. My only disagreement would be pertaining to the timing of the rapture. Reason being that there will be faithful followers of Christ who are persecuted by the AC according to Revelation.

I have found other parallels to the AC in the book of Daniel. Most people focus primarily on the direct prophecies given in that book, but fail to look at the kings as antichrist prototypes.

(in Daniel ch 3), The image which King Neb has built is 60 by 6 cubits (very similar to Revelations mark of the beast 666). Also, in persecution against the saints who refuse to worship this image, they are cast into a fiery furnace which is heated SEVEN times hotter than normal...(another parallel to GREAT tribulation). What is very remarkable as well is that is during this time of GREAT tribulation/fiery furnace, that a fourth man is revealed in the fire (I believe this represents Christ and His second coming possibly). Notice after this that King Neb pronounces a decree (which will similarly be during the millenium), that if anyone speaks amiss against God, they and their houses will be torn assunder.

Ch 4,
King Neb, King of BABYLON (Mystery Babylon the Great rules over the kings of the earth during Great Tribulation), is filled with pride as he is ruler over all the rulers of the earth. A judgment is decreed against him, and he is driven from (mankind) to take on the HEART of a BEAST, for SEVEN periods of time. Throughout GREAT tribulation, the governments of the earth, PARTICULARLY the ANTICHRIST kingdom is comparable to BEASTS in the eyes of God... (why?), because these are not glorifying God by reproducing the image of God in their lives, they are acting as brute beasts in His sight instead. Seven periods of time is also another indicator of Great tribulation. During this seven periods of time, King Neb's hair grew like eagle's feathers and his fingernails grew like bird's claws. In Revelation, Mystery Babylon has become a haunt for EVERY foul bird/demonic entity too.

Ch 5,
A feast is set up by King Belshazzar to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand. (Thousand-Millenium).
Instead of honoring God who created all things, they instead honor the god's of wood, silver and gold as they drink from the holy vessels that belonged in the temple of God. During the judgments in Revelation it is revealed that instead of honoring God, Mystery Babylon of Revelation also has a cup, filled with abominations (and having slain all manner of righteous, from the least to the greatest). It was at that very hour that a hand appeared opposite the CANDLESTICK(church). The writing was MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

(Great Tribulation interpretation): MENE; God has ALREADY numbered the kingdom of the beast and it will be finished shortly...ie-times, time and half a time, and ONE hour.
TEKEL; they have already been weighed in the balance and found wanting.
PERES; the kingdom of the future antichrist will fall, and the kingdom of our Lord and Christ shall rule and reign upon the earth.
Also, it will be during this time that the church (Daniel) will have THIRD ruler status during the millenium.

Ch 6,
In this chapter we have another account similar to Revelation where a time is coming when everyone must worship the mark, number or name of the beast. Darius is the prototype of the beast/antichrist in Revelation. A decree is made that no man can petition any god (or God) for thirty days except Darius himself! Because Daniel continued to honor God, various rulers conspired to have him cast into the den of lions. God delivered Daniel (and will deliver those who endure to the end)...and then those rulers who conspired against Daniel were cast into the den of lions (weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth/lake of fire) instead!

After this, Darius makes a decree that in every dominion of his kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom is that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. He delivered and rescued, and He worked signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
(Definitely a parallel millenial prophecy...before the great day of the Lord there will be signs and wonders in heaven and earth, and during the millenium, all men will tremble and fear before the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, HALLELUJIAH!).

Dennis, really, you're outdoing yourself here! This is great! Most people recognize King David as a prototype of Christ, but incorporating King Saul and King Solomon into this is excellent. I'm going to have to re-read especially about King Solomon. I love to have that great hope instilled in me for the future.

VICTORY (in NT times) doesn't always mean Physical victory over Physical enemies......read Hebrews 11...........some of those HEROES OF FAITH never got a physical miracle

Actually Dennis, the anti-christ is now, and not in the trib period. In this administration, Christians are still here. Look also at the opposites. Now are the Christians, and now is the anti-christ.

In the trib period, Christiains are no longer here, they have been gathered up prior to the trib period. During the trib period, we have the revealing of the woman that sits upon the beast to those who are here on earth. In Rev. 17:1 we see the woman sit upon the waters. Here in Rev. 17:15 we find out who the waters are, they are people, nations and tongues = languages , and she is revealing herself to the people as the one who rules the world - the god of this world - the devil. There is no need for an anti-christ within this administration. Which is the sixth seal . Lets look at what is said of when we realize, that the anti-christ is here now.

We read about the anti-chirst in first and second John, the latter epistle of John.

I John 2:18 tells us 'Now'

I John 2:22 - denial

I John 4:3 - "now in the world"

The anti-christ is here now. Christians are told, by these scriptures, that we are dealing with him now, not in the future.

re- your question: I would say (more than likely), IF these Great tribulation christians have the same quality of faith that David's men had, then they should have a physical victory as well....unless they are called similarly as some of the NT saints who were martyred. Many will be caught off guard and will have to make the ultimate sacrifice in securing a genuine faith too...but this is not comparable to GREAT faith which they could have been walking in to begin with. With that said however, I believe there will be many protected (in the wilderness).

What are your thoughts about Daniel's antichrist parallels?
