VISION: OBEDIENT EAGLES FLY TO RICH GREEN PASTURES!

24th March 2007

I saw a ground, which though it never ever was luscious, but did at some stage in the past, have just enough to feed on, as long as one could discern what to eat. But now, the end of the season had come and the enemy spies, entered the ground and by night placed green synthetic carpet lawns. This was a ground where many eagles fed the young. The enemy spies took some tufts of real grass and planted it discreetly near the synthetic lawn carpets. Many unclean creatures were brought into the ground, so that those young ones the eagles fed, would not leave with the eagles, who would surely now go in search of a place of plenty.

The eagles had told the young ones that it would soon be time to migrate. Many of the young ones, knowing but not understanding anything of times and seasons, glanced at this barren ground now covered with a ‘life-like’ mixture, and rejoiced, clapped their hands and jumped for joy, on seeing the ‘implants’ of the enemy spies. They faintly saw the movement of the creatures and repeatedly said aloud, “There’s life here, There’s life here! I am a witness to it; I am a witness to it”.

There were those among the young ones who didn’t see the reason to move. The obedient eagles, informed them that they had received instructions to migrate. The young ones had been well-fed and well-looked after. The eagles had obeyed instructions and had not delayed in bringing them fresh food. The eagles instructed them to wean away from this now arid ground, which only they could see with their vision, but many of the young ones, thought the eagles too bossy. “Who are you to tell us what to do? Who appointed you over us?

Within the vision, I was reminded of Jeremiah 8:7-9
Jeremiah 8:7-9 (King James Version) 7Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD. 8How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain. 9The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
The obedient eagles looked up to the skies and knew that an immediate migration from these now barren/mixed pasture grounds was impending.

“Ahead are green pastures, and cool waters,” the obedient eagles urged the protestors. But there were those who in the night had been instigated by the spies and parrot-like repeated the words whispered to them by the enemy, “We’re old enough to find our own way. Do you want us to come with you so that you can lord it over us? Here we are free. We have no masters. Besides, we are a democratic people. We can choose for ourselves.”

“Nations have democracy, but we are of the Kingdom “, said the eagles, and after what looked like an abrupt end of conversation, they flew off as they saw a Hand, beckoning them up, immediately. The time to ask if any wished to migrate to greener pastures was over.

The obedient eagles, without a second glance back, just flew off. The eagles had throughout, had their eyes sky-ward, refusing to be distracted.

Some young ones, though did not rebel. They also looked sky-ward and started walking in the direction that the eagles flew. The others laughed, “Go do what you like, we’ll find the green pastures by ourselves.”
It was strange, there were some there, who once were of clear-mind but now became corrupt. They were loathe to leave the crowd, they loved to converse with them.

And then there were those who once were sly and devious, who began to quietly ponder on all that the obedient eagles were saying, and had decided to migrate to these green pastures, that the obedient eagles had told them about.

The obedient eagles cared not if any were following. They knew that they knew that the ground they left behind was a thing of the past and now dangerous to stay upon. They had received Orders to migrate, and migrate they must.

The obedient eagles flew smoothly, without fuss or noise, following the contours of the wind. As they did so a vast Shadow of Eagle’s Wings, cast upon the land beneath, where the people walked, and caused the land over wheresoever the obedient eagles flew to become rich, luscious, and green. There were streams of delicious cool waters beneath. Those that followed the Shadow of the Eagle’s Wings, had great places to rest. The eagles flew only under this Shadow of the Eagle’s Wings.

No matter where the obedient eagles flew, the Shadow of the Large Eagle’s Wings fell on the land that was beneath them, and the land was always, green, luscious, rich and fruitful. The water looked very clear, rich and tasty. Wherever the people moved, it was always higher and higher, and there was always life and growth and tranquil waters. They carried nothing, but all that was good and wholesome for them was provided wherever they went, under the Shadow of the Eagle’s Wings.

By no means did it appear that the walk of the people was easy. In their constant moving upwards, to the Mountain, there were challenges, but these were welcomed. There were times of great weariness and fatigue, but there was a certain extravagance in all the provisions, awaiting them, throughout. They could rest, be refreshed and move on. The grass was so deep and green; the water was crystal clear and rich. The places they passed were green and greener, rich and richer, deep and deeper, in all the depth that I saw. The Shadow of the Eagle’s Wings encompassed all this land beneath.

Nothing was barren or arid, under the Shadow of the Eagle’s Wings.

The young ones who had remained on the barren ground, full of mixture, also walked, but they went the other route, just at the same time that the obedient eagles’ flight had begun into the rich green and luscious, the young ones’ journey landed them into the desert. There the vultures came and troubled them aplenty. They’d scratch them and even tried to gouge out their eyes, and pecked them violently on their heads. The desert was hot and arid. No water anywhere, not a green twig to be seen. Just dry hot sand. They walked without an end in sight.

‘How long? They cried, “How long?”
“Till you come to the exit”, came the Reply.

For those in the desert:

Jeremiah 23:18-24

18For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?
19Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
20The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
21I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
23Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
24Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

For those under the Shadow of the Eagle’s Wings:

Jeremiah 23:3-6
3And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
4And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
5Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (King James Version)
7Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
8For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
