Today I was studying for an upcoming exam. After awhile, my eyes got tired and I laid down for a nap.

I quickly fell asleep.

However, I received a phone call within a few minutes of just getting into a nice rest. I got up and answered the phone. It was my husband. I got off the phone after less than a minute of conversation hoping I could resume my nap.

I was just about to sleep when the phone rang again. My called ID read, "Caller known". This time I unplugged the phones in the house and went back to my room to try again.

I closed my eyes. About a minute later, a little alarm in my daughter's room began to buzz. I have no idea why. I've never heard it buzz before. I got up (a bit peeved now) and unplugged the alarm. Once again I went to my room to try to resume my nap.

I was in bed for about another minute when the stereo in my room clicked on inexplicably. I got up an unplugged the radio.

However, I did not try and go back to sleep.

CHRISTIANS.... AWAKE. DO NOT SLUMBER!

Very true! Thanks for sharing, I won't grumble near as much when my sleep gets interrupted from hear on out. Ill say, yes LORD.

I went into my parents house today to pick up my children. However, when I got there the youngsters were not home. The Lord told me to flip on TBN. I did.

A 1958 Memorial Day Billy Graham classic was on. The subject? Daniel- the writing on the wall. Judgement. As I listened to Mr. Graham speak in the prime of his life- chills and shivers ran down my spine. I knew that I was given a warning word... and a confirmation of yesterday's "wake up calls".

Now is the day of salvation.
