27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
I am here to tell you that the "He" in Daniel 9:27 is the Lord.
The Lord came in the flesh for one half of the week mentioned in this verse and established the new covenant with His apostles and disciples and saints.
The second half of the week will come into view with the second half of the covenant (the transition and wrath of God) being delivered by the Lord's two witnesses who will take away the Lords daily sacrifice and oblation to man.
Because of the overspreading of abominations as the 1260 days of the two witnesses ministry progress. Starting with the abomination of them being rejected by the Lords people and progressing into people hunting people for food in Jesus name. The Lord will make everyone desolate who do not live by faith. When the whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water is removed. Then those of faith will be seen.
Daniel 9:27 corresponds with Daniel 12. Where it tells you about the Lords “other two” and explains the time lines for when the daily sacrifice is taken away and the abomination of desolation is set up. It also names the time when the “Blessed One” will return.

Daniel 12
1 "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."
5 Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?"
7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.
8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, "My lord, what shall be the end of these things?"
9 And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
13 But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days."

The great tribulation and It's duration being a time, times, and half time. Or 1335 days. from the time the two witnesses take away the daily sacrefice until the comming of our Lord to catchup and resurect His army of saints.
Dan 12

abomination of desolation .
I read your link in detail and it is more nonsense.
The abomination that causes desolation is set up after the Lords two prophets take away Gods daily sacrifice to man.
The whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water which makes the evil ones of the earth resort to eating each others flesh and drinking each others blood.
Those who live by faith will be able to make the water and oil and flour last 42 months and the faithful stewards will be bringing manna down from heaven and water out of the face of the rock to feed and water the the Lord's sheep.
The original text says "for where the carcass is there the eagles will be gathered together". This means that they will be killing people for food and drink since an eagle kills their food and does not eat already dead things.

Believe this scipture, of where the carcose gathers the eagle will fly, used to think it may be a rapture scripture.
Mt 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Lu 17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
But the Greek word for eagle means:
105 aetov aetos ah-et-os’
from the same as 109; ; n m
AV-eagle 4; 4
1) an eagle: since eagles do not usually go in quest of carrion, this may to a vulture that resembles an eagle
2) an eagle as a standard (Roman Military)
But think this is reffering to demons gathering around the spiritually dead people who come to worship the beast or are forced to. This is the church powered by Satan, they either go there or are forced to, which the early church used to burn people alive at the stake as an example to those who refuse to worship the beast.
My apoligies for being rude earlier too.

There is none ruder here than me. If you learn and escape what is coming then I have done well.
It is the devil possessed people hunting and killing people for food. It is on this wing of abominations that those who are desolate will be destroyed. If the act itself isn't bad enough they will be doing it in the name of their false Christ and quoting the eat my flesh and drink my blood scripture to justify it.

But here is the truth about the matter. Anyone who thinks they know the exact day that anything happened so long ago has deceived themselves. But then it doesn't matter. Remember the death and resurrection of the Lord as often as you will and "Give Him Thanks". Learn what it meant. Learn what the Lord did and taught and do it. Then you have started down that narrow road to salvation.

Godsloft,
The NIV provides a clearer view of Dan 9:27.
Daniel 9: 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' [a] In the middle of the 'seven' [b] he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.
You have stated that the "he" in this passage is Christ. I have to disagree. I understand where you are coming from when you figure Christ into the picture based on putting an end to sacrifice. But the passage continues by stating that "he" will set up an abomination that causes desolation in the wing of the yet-to-be-built temple. Are you stating that Christ is going to set up the A/C in the temple of God?

Daniel
9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
It is the Lord who will confirm the covenant for one 7'. This period is part of the 70 weeks of years decreed for national Israel .... the last 7 years. All of the 6 objectives of this covenant stated in Daniel 9 will be fulfilled for the believing remnant part of national Israel. He will cause (allow) the nation of Israel to be invaded overrun by satan's beast and followers for the purpose of pressuring the nation to turn to Him. Some will ..... most will not. This action will also cause the believing remnant to flee into the wilderness when they see the abomination of desolation on the temple mount which will be placed by satan's beast (the prince that shall come) and followers. The Lord will protect them there for 42 months (1,260 days ..... last half of the 7 years) during satan's occupation and rule over Israel. The "prince that shall come" is is an angelic prince incarnated in Daniel's little horn, human king of the north, and he is called the "desolate" or "desolator" in the passage. He is called Abaddon-Apollyon, the "destroyer" in Revelation and he is the beast. The Lord will destroy this angelic prince, his kingdom, and his followers at Armageddon. The Lord's action here is described in Revelation 16.

Hello Guy Smith
This is where you have misunderstood.
Christ is the one who has and will confirm His covenant with many for one seven.
When Christ died and rose again He put an end to sacrificing to God for sin.
When He sends His two prophets they will take away Gods sacrifice to man and continue the week.
The whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water.
The temple that Christ built is the temple of the body.
Then on the wing of abominations those who love the lie and are not mindful of the things of God will start sacrificing people to their own stomaches and hunger.
This is the abomination of desolation that whosoever takes part in it will never be forgiven but will perish into darkness for eternity.
It begins in July.
Those of faith best be making themselves ready. No one goes anywhere until the return of the Lord at the 1335th day.
