here's an email from a friend of mine that stopped talking to me because she didn't agree with
some Cain and Able story. After a long silence between us (i tried to call but she wouldnt call back) she sends me this after i sent her a birthday e-card.

Hello Carlos Medrano,

How are you? Thank you for the ecard! Happy Birthday to you too! I felt it
was best not to contact you. Please don't worry about writing back. God
prompted me not to contact you for both our sakes.
So much has changed since
the last time we talked. Good things have come to pass. Quints are doing
well. I am drawing closer to God and the people He has brought into my life.
There has been tremendous growth. New Life Church is still awesome. Good
reports. I pray that the same could be said about you.

ok...you guys can PM me and tell me if God told you to stay away from me.

I got to get to the bottom of this.
*seriously confused*

C-Los, I would not worry about what she said. That's how she feels and what she believes.

I can only say the same for what I write; in that I cannot claim "God told me" as if I could show anyone what God has told me by introducing them to God in person; "Go on God, tell him or her what you told me."

People believe what they believe and if she believes God tells her what she says, that's fine; to say otherwise would mean she should be able to back her words up with proof (as in I know vs. I believe).

If you want her to talk to you again just give thanks you still think of her as your friend and keep the hope that she'll talk to you again. It will happen.

NOW for some time-tested advice.

C-los, you are a great person... and a great Christian. We don't all see eye to eye on every aspect of the Bible...don't know why that is, but it certainly keeps us on our toes and helps to fine tune our beliefs. Don't worry so much about her not wanting to keep in touch. It sounds like taking care of quints could be a full time job! Think about it...just keep her in your prayers. She needs prayer as much as anyone else...while your at the prayers, pray for me and my grandbabies-ALL BOYS! I raised two girls and now I am taking care of them for momma, while she is returning to work. I now have three grandsons! Praise the LORD HE IS GOOD!

Someone once said, don't sweat the small stuff! GOD may be moving you both in different directions. Pray about it. I know I will be praying for you.
