Tim and I were just talking about this last night! Maybe I'm just splitting hairs here, but aren't we "electing" a president and vice president? They are a package deal as we don't "elect" them separately.
So wouldn't that still make him ineligible because he would be next in line to be president, thus (in this case) exceeding the term limit in the event that he should take the role of president?
