I've been fasting the last 24 hours now and I had a waking vision. I saw President Bush eating an pita bread full of snakes. An voice from within my spirit had said, "What he had eaten is what he is." Then I saw Condoleeza Rice in Israel, wearing an yellow hard hat and having an sickle in her hand. She struck the land hard with the sickle. The blade broke off, sticking in the land and leaving her just the wooden handle. She left Israel in anger on an airplane. But as the airplane was approaching the Atlantic Ocean, the plane mysteriously disappear. Then I saw Vice President Cheney kissing and hugging the Washington Monument. He too was wearing an hard hat, only it was white. Then the Washington Monument came crashing down on him, crushing him to pieces.

This is all I saw. I need to go eat now.

Yes, I've read some of Gavrial's interesting idea about the 2300 days. While I do not approve of his date-setting for no one knows the day nor the hour except by the Father. However, I am keeping an open mind about it for we are supposed to know, at least, of the general time of His coming. I too happen to believe that something of major importance will occur in 2008, what that is, I'm not so certain. It's just an spiritual hunch on my part.

Yes, hard hats does imply construction or constructing of something that they (Rice and Cheney) had an personal hand in it but of different nature, thus the color difference of their hard hats. Rice, it seems to me, is constructing an deal of death (sickle) through the means of "peace". It appears at first to be working (striking the land, Israel) and Israel will pay for it dearly (blade sticking in the ground). However, eventually it shall not stand (the blade breaking off) and Rice will see this and be very angry about it. She will not ever come back home after "striking" this deal with Israel, for God himself through His strange and mysterious way will deal with her. I think that the key word here is, if this vision is true, "striking". Cheney, also it seems to me, is constructing an dicatorial power base here at home (hugging and kissing the Washington Monument, of which is an phallic symbol) for he is in love with his own power. But as one can see right now, it's falling on him (the Libby verdict) and he'll soon be crushed by his own snares. As for Bush, it's plain to see that he has been feed lies and sprouting lies of his own, for that who he is, an liar. He doesn't know the truth nor does he even cares about it at all.

Well, that's my intrepretation of the vision. Anyone else got any other ideas, I'd love to hear it.

I think your interpretation is right on. May God have mercy on us if this nation doesn't repent and the Dems and Pubs don't start admitting a few things publicly in true repentence. Pride comes before a fall.

The article that Gavrial posted about the Nike "Second Coming" video uses music from "The Shining" which was a film with Scatman Crothers who played a "magical Negro" character...I wonder what they are trying to say without saying it...Obama is like some kind of Cult of Personality figure without any substance, it seems...Condi's replacement, somehow?

I have no idea nor do I have anything to say about Obama for the Lord have not shown me anything about him at all. I don't think that God really cares about the color of one's skins nor does it really matters. Instead I do think that He cares more about the color of one's hearts.

While doing some researching, I'm sure that some of you already know that Condoleezza Rice is the 66th Secretary of State (see link: http://www.whitehouse.gov/nsc/ricebio.html ) that this country have had. Coindicence? I think not now. My reasonings for the 3 for 4 curse for Rice has to do with the fact that the number 4 seems to revolve around her all of her life. Now I can be way-off base here and I will concede to that. Anyway, Condi was born in Alabama and knew one of the four girls that were killed in the church bombing years ago. She represents the U.S. in the group known as the "Quartet" (containing the U.N., Russia and the EU as well, what a group there). The "3 for 4" curse is found in the book of Amos Chapter 1-2 in the KJV:

As you can see, the nations/states that were being cursed are all neighbors of Israel and some of them avowed enemies and others coverted enemies. Even Judah and Israel are being cursed for their transgressions as well. What does this have to do with Condi? She's an coverted enemy of Israel (no newsflash there) but her mask will come off when she strikes Israel with the sickle. Israel, right now, is decrying the Palestinian government of Fatah/Hamas as unworkable since Hamas refused to recognize Israel's right to exist. I'm guessing here that Rice is going to try to bulldoze over Israel to accept it anyway but when she does, it will initially succeed at first but ultimately it will fail and backfires on her. She's trying to get Israel to transgress against the Lord God by disobeying His convenant made with Abraham. And God, Himself, will deal with her. She's not her own but an puppet. The Amos prophecy alluded to Israel's neighbors and to Israel itself. I had thought that the link to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Amos was rather interesting. It helps to have an understanding of the underlying background of Amos's ministry and to why God had the "3 for 4 curse".

It is my hope that God shall an continuing mercy on this nation but I do feel within my spirit that God has enough of our own transgressions. Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is surely at hand.

I didn't mean anything racial about it...just noticed how Obama's name is being used as the word "abomination" and the connection to Gavrial's observations relating to the video...the subtle connections...ethnicity clearly is a factor in endtime events, though..."nation shall rise against nation"...the Greek word for nation is "ethnos" and clearly the Jews are hated not because of their geographical position on the planet, but because of their "ethnicity"...just as some others are "favored"...do you see what I mean?

I think that I know what you mean. This country, due to its unfortunate past with human slavery (wanted to point out that some freed blacks back in those days had also owned slaves as well, not just the white planation owners), is still stuck on racial/ethnicial issues. I'm going to wonder out loud here by asking if Condi have always hated "White" America because of the past and wants to see it destoryed by destorying Israel (if that's even possible)? I don't know about her heart but God most certainly does.

I also wants to point that not all Jews are Israelites and not all Israelites are Jews. Ethnicity has nothing to do with it (Jacob and Esau both have the same father but one is chosen and the other rejected) but it's in the hearts that what's matters, what makes an true Israelite. White, black, brown, yellow or whatever, please, the Good Lord has made us all. It's through His mercy and election of grace that we are saved by, in faith through His precious Son, Joshua.

Again, I can be way off base here but I'm going to be bold and say that Condi is an dark mirror puppet, not of U.S.A but of Rome.

You know, you're not far off the mark about the leaders that I've seen in my waking vision, being that they're not your leaders. In all honesty, they're not. They are, as you say, beasts of the earth. Interesting thought there. I thank you for provoking that train of thought. However, you might remember that God, in Moses's time, raises up the Pharaoh to gain glory for His mighty name when Pharaoh keeps hardening his heart by not letting Israel go. It's okay not being able to understand all the things that God does for His people, I, myself, have a hard time understanding at times. I falter, stumble, kicking myself when things happen the way they do and the things that I see sometimes as well. What we needs to do as christians is to be still in our hearts and just believe in faith. And lots of times, that's easier said than done.

(CBS/AP) U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Sunday that it is important for Israel and the Palestinians to establish a "common agenda" to move forward on creating a Palestinian state, appearing to break ranks with Israel, which has ruled out peace talks for now.

For the fourth time in four months Rice is back in the Middle East, trying to do what she had been unable to do on the previous three visits: kick start a thoroughly stalled peace process, reports CBS News foreign correspondent Mark Phillips.

Secretary Rice's hope, she said, was not for what she called a 'big bang' breakthrough, but to prepare the ground.

All parties need to have a "destination in mind" to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Rice said in a joint news conference with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. But she conceded the sides were far apart and offered no specific proposal to get long-stalled peace talks moving again.

Abbas aides said the two also explored ways to get moderate Arab states involved in Israeli-Palestinian peace-making. A 2002 Arab peace initiative, which offers recognition of Israel in exchange for a withdrawal from all lands Israel occupied in the 1967 Mideast War, is to be revived at an Arab Summit next week.

In one proposal raised Sunday, a committee appointed at the summit would serve as a contact for the Quartet of Mideast mediators — the United States, the U.N., the EU and Russia — as well as Israel and the Palestinians.

Rice and Abbas held their first meeting since the Islamic militant Hamas and Abbas' more moderate Fatah Party formed a new coalition government last week.

While Rice was speaking of finding a resolution to the decades-old conflict, Israel has said it will not conduct peace talks with Abbas now that he has joined forces with Hamas.

Rice said she would meet twice with both Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert during her fourth trip to the region in as many months. "It's extremely important to establish a common agenda to move forward toward the establishment" of a Palestinian state, she said.

"I think it can help all of us to have a destination in mind," Rice said, but acknowledged that direct negotiations between the sides are unlikely in the current climate.

"I think this time it is best to talk about that political horizon in parallel. But I sincerely hope in the future the parties themselves can talk about the political horizon themselves," she said.

Rice met Olmert at his Jerusalem residence late Sunday. No details were available about the talks.

Abbas said he talked with Rice about holding more meetings with Olmert. "All these meetings are part of the bilateral relations with Israel and the future vision that we are all seeking and working toward," Abbas said.

Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said Rice told Abbas that "the Israeli approach is not enough."

Earlier Sunday, Abbas met with U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon, who said the time is "not yet fully ripe" to meet with officials from the Islamic militant Hamas group. Ban met with non-Hamas members of the new coalition. Rice snubbed even U.S.-backed moderates in the Cabinet.

Hamas and Fatah have expressed hope their alliance would end international isolation of the previous hard-line Hamas government.

U.S. and European diplomats have held a stream of contacts with moderate members of the new coalition while avoiding Hamas ministers. Hamas has killed more than 250 Israelis in suicide bombings and refuses to recognize the Jewish state.

"At this time, I do not have plans to meet with Prime Minister Haniyeh or other Hamas Cabinet ministers," Ban said, expressing hope the new government's actions would "show a genuine commitment to the basic principles ... of peace."

The "Quartet" of Mideast peacemakers have demanded that Hamas renounce violence, recognize Israel, and accept past peace agreements.

Israel welcomed the decisions by Rice and Ban not to meet with Hamas officials.

"We are happy to see world leaders and prominent figures like the secretary general continuing to uphold the Quartet principles," said Eisin, the Israeli government spokeswoman.

The new government platform falls short of the conditions, though moderate Palestinians say it implicitly recognizes Israel by "respecting" peace agreements. Abbas, who hopes to restart peace talks with Israel, has said the deal is the best he can get from Hamas.

Palestinian officials rejected the notion of diplomatic cherry-picking.

"This government is one team," Information Minister Mustafa Barghouti said. "Whoever meets with one member is meeting with the whole government."

Ban's comments indicated the challenges the Palestinians still face in selling their government to the West.

With the exception of a senior Norwegian official, a stream of foreign officials in recent days has refused to meet with Hamas Cabinet members. And the withheld funding has not been restored.

Ban is scheduled to meet with Olmert on Monday. He said he would urge the Israeli leader to release frozen Palestinian funds, ease travel restrictions in Palestinian areas and halt settlement activity in the West Bank.

Ban and Rice are in the area ahead of the Arab Summit, which is to revive the 2002 peace plan. The proposal calls for full diplomatic relations between the entire Arab world and the Jewish state in exchange for full Israeli withdrawal from lands captured in the 1967 Mideast war.

Israel is cool to a full withdrawal. It also objects to the plan's apparent endorsement of the right of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees and their descendants to return to properties in what is now Israel. The Israelis say a large-scale return of refugees would mean the end of the country's identity as a Jewish state.

Rice told reporters she would not seek changes in the Saudi plan, saying it is a matter for negotiations.

The U.N. chief started his day Sunday visiting the Aida refugee camp near the West Bank town of Bethlehem and inspecting Israel's separation barrier in the West Bank.

Israel says it built the enclosure to keep out Palestinian militants, who have killed hundreds of Israelis in bombing and shooting attacks. Palestinians oppose the route of the barrier, which places some 10 percent of the West Bank on the "Israeli" side.

"This has strengthened my resolve and commitment to work for peace in the Middle East," Ban said. "This is a very sad and tragic thing to see many suffering from the construction of this wall, depriving opportunities for basic living."

An Unturned Cake
In verse 8, the northern kingdom of Israel is likened to a "cake not turned." The "cake" Hosea had in mind was not a birthday cake or a wedding cake. No, he was thinking of "flatbread" that is cooked on a griddle--like a pancake, or like pita, which is common in the Middle East today. We all know what a pancake is like if it's not turned over and is cooked on just one side! It's weak and gooey. It has no structural stability and it can't support itself. Do you see the illustration? Spiritually speaking, Israel was weak. Although the kingdom was quite strong politically and militarily at this time, the people were morally and spiritually weak. Their moral fiber and spiritual backbone were riddled with the fatal disease of idolatry. Many of them were involved in the immoral prostitution of the pagan fertility rites and many of them were offering pagan sacrifices to the foreign gods on the mountain high places. (See Hosea 4:11-14.) They were structurally weak, like an unturned cake

I've been pondering upon what I've seen of President Bush's eating a pita bread filled with snakes. Nothing really gotten expands except for the fact that he appears that he couldn't get enough of it and did eat it all. Also, the snakes were small, almost wormlike, thick, black and oily. In all honesty, I just simply thought that it had meant he was being fed lies and sprouting lies and didn't really think of it too much. Then Miki had posted the above snippet in another thread and something inside me just gotten lighted up, so to speak. There's more to it than just the simple explanation but not sure of how to elaborate it correctly and it has to do with the pita bread. Maybe I"m overanalyzing it, I do tends to do that, so I humbly asks for forgiveness in that respect.

Maybe the Pita bread has to do with Madrid Spain where the announcement of Bush's vision of "The Road Map" took place? (Madrid Conference)



Pita bread is known as "Arab bread" according to wikipedia, and the name "Madrid" is from an Arabic word meaning "source of water". Spain was part of the Islamic conquest at one time.

That's definitely something to chew on, that I'll say. I am leaning toward the Arabic nature of it, and possibly the anti-christian aspect as well (of the last supper where Joshua took the bread and broke it and gave it to his disciples, the exact opposite of what Bush was doing with the snake-filled pita bread). I didn't see where he was eating it but I did get the impression that he was inside of a building and was in a hurry. So I can't exactly reconcile it with Spain, altho I can't rule it out either. Also, I keep seeing him in a corporate suit. That seem to mean something for some odd reasons.
