March 10, 2007 Update
I was originally scheduled to depart the Philippines for the United States on February 28, but at the last moment the Holy Spirit made it clear that I was to cancel my trip to America and delay the journey until summer. It is very rare that I receive an audible word from the Lord, but on the morning of February 27 I was awakened by the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit: Do Not Leave. The Lord did not tell me why I was not to leave, except that something disastrous would occur Without Warning if I proceeded with my journey.
In Matthew 2:13, Joseph was warned of an attack being orchestrated against him by the enemy in his own nation, and directed by an angel to go into a place of refuge prepared for him in Egypt until the time of danger passed. Perhaps I will never know why the Lord had me delay this trip to America, or perhaps it will become apparent for all to see in the near future – only time will tell. As a servant of the Lord, my job is not to question why the Lord gives a certain command, but to simply receive it and obey it.
We are approaching a very pivotal time in history as we approach June, the 40th anniversary of the 6-Day War in which Jerusalem and the Temple Mount were restored to Israel. While many Christians are assuming 2007 will pass without any significant events taking place that will affect their lives, I believe that several earth shaking events are about to erupt 'without warning' if we continue on our current path which will catch many off guard. We cannot afford to be asleep with the cares of the world, or we risk entering into our "promised land" in this year of Jubilee.
Forty represents a "coming out of the wilderness" into our inheritance. While this year will mark an increase in judgments upon nations, it will also mark an increase in the release of glory, divine inheritance and restoration for those who have positioned themselves in a place of faith and anticipation for what is coming. Now is not the time for fear, but a time to stand in the gap and create a new future for your people, for it only takes one Moses to change the destiny of an entire nation!

Update From The Field – With the recent divine interruption of plans, I will be staying in the Philippines more than 3 months longer than anticipated, which creates some interesting challenges. We have insufficient supplies and medicines to last us through June, which means they will have to be purchased in the US and shipped to us here on the mission field, which can be quite costly. Your love gifts this month are greatly appreciated! Please send all donations to:
