From Gavrial's Iran, China And March 21, 2007 thread

Sorry for getting off the subject of this thread, Gavrial. Maybe somehow it fits in? I don't know, I sort of wandered...

March 21 is the spring equinox...

Has anyone ever heard of the "annalemma"? This is very interesting...

Over the course of a year, the sun makes a "figure 8" in the sky

Where the two lines meet is where the position of the sun is at the spring/fall equinoxes. The summer/winter solstices are located top and bottom.

Yeah, I've heard of it. It is thought that ancient calenders like Stone Henge and places like New Grange measured this pattern...the swirl patterns at New Grange is thought to represent the sun's changing the postion where it rises and sets throughout the year...there's a similar pattern with Venus, an 8 yr cycle...The Book of Enoch describes the sun's changing position throughout the year in the Book of the Heavenly Luminaries. This kind of information was very important to ancient peoples so they could time their crops to get the maxium benefit of sunlight and therefore growth

But, that is fascinating! My mind goes sideways when I try to picture how the wobble in the earth affects the pattern of the sun in the sky! Yikes! I have to close my eyes! sleep.gif

try to imagine standing in this spot (camera view) for a whole year while only opening your eyes at 12 noon each day, in a timewarp (1 second=24 hours, for example). As you approach summer, the position of the sun is higher in the sky (longer daylight hours), and as you approach winter, the height of the sun gets lower. The center of the "8" is where daytime and nighttime are equal in length (equinox) and the time when we set our clocks forward(spring) or backward(fall)

This reminds me of what God said to Noah (8 people on the ark=new beginning)
QUOTE

Genesis 8
20And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. 22While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Apparently, the great flood caused a wobble in the earth to cause the sign that you see. That would be my best guess anyway.

Also, Noah was 10th from Adam in the genaealogy of Chapter 5. This simple equation fascinates me in regards to Noah:

10 divided by 81 = 0.12345679012345679012345679012346 (counting up, 8 is missing) Spring/Summer?

8 x 0.12345679012345679012345679012346 = 0.98765432098765432098765432098765 (counting down, 1 is missing) Fall/Winter?

COOL!

"Jesus" (Greek Gematria) = 888 and the symbol for INFINITY is
a horizontal "8"...

I have seen in a German magasine

MAGAZIN 2000 (maybe 1996-1997) a PICTURE OF THE SUN

D I V I D I N G INTO T W O S U N S!

Can't find the pic, nor any website on it, though... but there were actually 2 SUNS!!! blink.gif ohmy.gif huh.gif

The sun declares that God is eternal. If you were to walk on that 8 figure it would just take you in a never ending loop
