11 PEOPLE ON A ROPE

Eleven people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, ten men and one
woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided
that one had to leave, because otherwise they were all going to fall.

They weren't able to designate a person, until the woman gave a very
touching speech. She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope,
because as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband
and kids, or for men in general, and she was used to always making
sacrifices, with little in return.

As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping.

I get the joke...but it makes me wonder. Is that why women should remain silent in church? There's a thought to ponder...

That is a study all it's own!

The mistaken theme of the verses do not bear fruit in todays church where it plainly says that Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Female preachers are just as anointed as any one else to speak if they are chosen to speak and it is a slur against God Almighty to suggest otherwise.

I know... I did a search and came up with many scripture arguments for both sides. It could get pretty heated for some I'm sure.

I feel that if the Lord "calls you", well, who am I to say no?

That was a joke within a joke...women preachers would make the men look bad...get it?
