My mom sent this to me today:

"I am asking everyone to be in prayer for Ann and Phil.

Ann has been very sick the last few days. She has been unable to keep anything down and is running a fever. Her fever was over 102 degrees and her heart was beating so fast she was afraid to count it. She could not take any of her medicines for her heart, aches and pains (including her back) as she could keep not keep it down either. I talked with her tonight and she is some better as she is able to take her medicine now, but she is not eating yet. As some of you know she is to fly out on the 6th of March to New Orleans for her disability hearing. She needs to be well enough to pack and make the flight here. She is not planing to miss her flight and needs to get better fast. We all know that prayers work and the more the better.

Phil is very swollen with 74 pounds of water in his body when he went to the doctor. He is supposed to lose 2 to 4 pounds of water a day on his medication. He is so swollen that his skin is breaking open and oozing liquid. The medication he is on is the same one that put him in the hospital and he almost died. Please pray that he will lose all the water and that the medicine will not affect him negatively so that he won't get in the same condition again and nearly die. He said that he had lost about 2 lbs. of water when I talked with him day before yesterday. I believe he will lose all of it if we pray for his recovery to normal weight again, and not have the same problems with the treatment this time.

Thanks to each of you for praying for them. I know God will bless them if we all appeal to him for their healing.

Praying for both of them.

Yes, she's here, but her legs are giving out without warning at times. She had a spinal fusion years ago but now the graft is growing out of controll and it will paralize her according to the doctors. As for Phil, he's lost 30 pounds of water but has another 30 pounds to go. They need much prayer. Ann told me today that she believes that Phil is in his last year of life. He is about 52 and she's 48.

Thanks for praying Laurel. My sister Ann's heartrate is too high and the medicine isn't working. Phil's heart rate is too low. It sounds like the enemy is attacking their heart rates. Please continue to pray. God bless, David

Father I thank You for hearing my prayer as I lift up these two precious people to You right now in the name of Jesus...Father I ask that You place Your healing hands over them and being to remove this assigment of sickness off of them. Begin to restore their bodies, make them new not only in the body, but renew their spirit...Let this become a testimony that can be used to win many into the Kingdom and allow Your glory to shine so bright that it saturates the souls of all that come into contact with them...Father I ask all these things in Your Son's name, Jesus...amen...
