A SIXTY YEAR GENERATION 1948-2008

Numbers 14:26 The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 27 "How long {shall I bear} with this evil congregation who are grumbling against me? I have heard the complaints of the sons of Israel, which they are making against Me.

28 "Say to them, As I live,' says the LORD, 'just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will surely do to you; 29 your corpses will fall in this wilderness, even ALL your numbered men, according to your complete number from twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against Me.

(ANYONE 20 YEARS OLD and older who entered the wilderness WOULD BECOME A CORPSE in the wilderness)

30 Surely you shall not come into the land in which I swore to settle you, EXCEPT CALEB the son of Jephunneh and JOSHUA the son of Nun.

(Every man who entered the Promised Land, WOULD BE NO MORE THAN 60 YEARS OLD, other than Caleb and Joshua)

31 Your children, however, whom you said would become a prey--I will bring them in, and they will know the land, which you have rejected.

(Those children who were 19 years 364 days and younger DID ENTER the “promised land”)

32 'But as for you, your corpses will fall in this wilderness. 33 Your sons shall be shepherds for forty years in the wilderness, and they will suffer {for} your unfaithfulness, until your corpses lie in the wilderness.

(Re-affirming those 20 years or older would shepherd the 19 year old and younger for forty years but still suffer and die, thus confirming, 19 FULL + 40=60-years)

34 According to the number of days, which you spied out the land, forty days, for every day you shall bear your guilt a year, {even} forty years, and you will know My opposition.

35 I, the LORD, have spoken, surely this I WILL DO TO THIS ENTIRE EVIL CONGREGATION who are gathered together against Me. In this wilderness they shall be destroyed, and there they will die.”

As an example:

John Levi and his 2 week old son go into the wilderness, his father dies, the 2 week old son now 40 years and 2 weeks old survives, likewise Saul Levi and his 19 year and 10 month old son go into the wilderness together, Saul, the father dies, his son now 59 years and 10 months old survives.

Does not this make 60 years, a viable biblical generation, THE FATHER DIES AND THE SON LIVES? The fact that the nation of Israel was “born in a day” on Iyar 5, 5708, or May 14, 1948, with the year officially beginning on, Tishri 1 5709 which fell on October 4, 1948.

If you add 59 full years, you will arrive at Elul 29 5768 or September 29, 2008 and just as Caleb and Joshua were the only men 60 years or older to enter the promised land, as a parallel add a day, it will be Rosh Hashanah, Tishri 1, 5769, September 30, 2008 exactly 60 years later and could very well be the day of the “returning” of Yeshua at His second coming?

That almost parallels the times that I pointed out in the other thread about Abraham dying 2121 years after Adam (1946 + 175) and Jesus dying (and resurrected) at 4141 years after Adam (4108 + 33).



21 years times 101 and 41 years times 101. (Abraham never saw the promised land while he was alive, but believed God about his "offspring". Jesus was the fulfillment after 2020 years, but the Jews of that time didn't enter because of unbelief (20 years x 101)



Not sure exactly what the 101 represents other than the fact that Isaac was born when Abraham was 100 years old and was circumcised on the 8th day (into Abraham's 101st year, symbolically speaking)



2008 is 1979 years after Jesus' death burial and resurrection (if it occurred at 29 A.D. which is 33 years after 4-5 B.C.) which is 41 years short of 2020 years



Does that make sense?

On September 30, 2008, you will be proved yet another false date setter.

"The COMING of the Lord is AT HAND" (spoken by James (5:8) pre-AD 70.
"The end of ALL things is AT HAND" (spoken by Peter (1 Peter 4:7) pre-AD 70.

What do you mean when you quote "the kingdom of God is AT HAND?" If it doesn't mean "at hand" when spoken by the inspired writers of Scripture and by our Lord Himself (according to futurists), why do you now use it in its normal, everyday, usual, common usage?

Yes mmddll it does make sense in its own way, but not all of your numbers are matching up to the '2300 day vision' of Daniel, that is the same 'vision' Habakkuk has told us to "run with" if we understand it.
