The Antichrists Among Us

Lately, as most of my readers know, I, along with The Righteous Response Squad, have been engaging so-called "atheists" on the field of spiritual warfare. Probably, truth to be known, some of the exhaustion that led to me being hospitalized for pneumonia earlier this week was a byproduct of that admittedly frustrating process.
What I have found to be true - and have exposed on numerous occasions on our near-nightly TalkProphecy.com radio show - is that a large volume of those we refer to as atheists are, in reality, antichrists.
2 John 1:7: For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Of the prophesied Antichrist to come, we're told, in 2nd Thessalonians 2:3-4: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
There are many today in the public eye today who display the spirit of antichrist, even some who many in America mistakenly respected because they made their way into our living rooms enough to seem like family - men like Walter Cronkite. Yes, Walter Cronkite! If you didn't know that good ole' Walter is an enemy of God, prepare to be enlightened - and harshly.
According to a Lifesite article, a "new campaign to force Christian influence out of the public sphere was launched last week in San Jose, California, in response to what is seen as a returning strength of religious organizations in American society."
The article states the following of Cronkite:
American news personality Walter Cronkite, a veteran of US media, endorsed the campaign, as did the Rev. Welton Gaddy, president of the Interfaith Alliance.
Cronkite, now 90, served as anchor for CBS Evening News from 1962 to 1981. He is the spokesman and honorary chairman of the Alliance, which includes multi-faith and atheistic members. In addition to opposing religious influence on politics, the organization is dedicated to promoting public acceptance of homosexuality, calling for an end to “discrimination based on sexual orientation.”
Yes, America! There are antichrists among us. In fact, they're out there in droves!
There are the open antichrists and there are deceptive ones - the Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda-style antichrist pictured above, for example.
Some of you may recall me writing about Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda before. If you found him to be an interesting personality before, wait until you read what he's doing now, which I apologize I've been a little slow in addressing.
Originally claiming solely to be Christ reincarnate, Miranda's added a new gimmick to his shtick, as seen in the following excerpt from a CNN article:
The minister has the number 666 tattooed on his arm.
But Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda is not your typical minister. De Jesus, or "Daddy" as his thousands of followers call him, does not merely pray to God: He says he is God.
"The spirit that is in me is the same spirit that was in Jesus of Nazareth," de Jesus says.
De Jesus' claims of divinity have angered Christian leaders, who say he is a fake. Religious experts say he may be something much more dangerous, a cult leader who really believes he is God. (Watch followers get 666 tattoos for their leader )
"He's in their heads, he's inside the heads of those people," says Prof. Daniel Alvarez, a religion expert at Florida International University who has debated some of de Jesus' followers.
"De Jesus speaks with a kind of conviction that makes me consider him more like David Koresh or Jim Jones."
Miranda both claims to be Christ, which makes him a false prophet, and has the number of the prophesied Antichrist in his flesh, making him a self-professing antichrist. Yes folks, it's getting stranger by the minute!
