Dream about High Water

Last night I remembered a dream about high water. (I usually don't remember
dreams, so this may be significant.)

I was in a little summer cabin type house along some water, like a lake or
shore. There were other people there who seemed like family but not my actual
family in real life.

Anyhow, the water kept slowly rising and rising. Very slowly. Over a few days,
probably. Until when I woke up it was basically at the door of the house.

The interesting part of the dream was the reaction of the people.

At first they just went their separate ways, running errands, doing what
people usually do, not really reacting to the water level change. Myself
included. I think I even went shopping or something.

The people seemed kind of zoned out.

Suddenly I snapped out of it and told everybody in a loud voice, I'm getting
out of here. Grab what you can. I'm driving out in a few minutes!

I still got the impression that they did not react to the urgency.

The theme seems to be living a "dream" and ignoring a multitude of signs all
around us because "that's not the way it's supposed to be"...

I heard an interview the other day where the speaker stated that many Jews
outside of Nazi Germany and Eastern Europe went back to warn the people to get
out. Unfortunately, they were ALL trapped and lost their lives. Seems that the
death camps were not included in their thought pattern of "the way it's supposed
to be"...

Shalom and Stay Awake, Everybody.

...the shtetl is still possible...

pray for the peace of Jerusalem...and the people of God...

they may call it work camps in America...when marshall law is declared
and it would be a good idea to study the Praetorian Guard...

we could learn alot, history repeats itself...

WOW! I am amazed that I had a dream similar to yours! I dreamed I was at my grandparents' house (my grandparents are deceased, and their house sold years ago). It was night and I knew a storm was comming. I was prepared. I got everything I needed and made arrangements to stay at my grandparents' house till the storm passed by. In the dream, the house was high on a hill and I could look down below at the street traffic. I couldn't believe people ignored the warnings and decided to just keep driving, like nothing bad is never going to happen to them because that is not the way its supposed to be. They didn't even have the good sense to slow down. It was dark and this terrible winter storm came suddenly. The street started to flood. Meanwhile, my grandfather came into the room and said to me, "I'm thirsty. I'm so dehydrated." I asked him how could he be thristy when he has been dead for years now? Shouldn't he be resting in Heaven? He smiled and vanished. I looked out the window. Sure enough, there were cars and trucks over turned in deep flood waters. One sports utility vehicle was on its side, and its passengers were trapped. I saw my Dad went down and tried to help, but got trapped himself. Bear in mind my Dad was once saved, but now completely rejects Christ. I was horrified because Dad was under water and was not comming back up! I cried out and suddenly Grandpap was there with me. It was a beautiful sunny day. There was no flood, no storm. I felt Dad was alive and safe. The streets were empty and it was perfect spring day with all the flowers in bloom. My grandfather kissed me on my head and said to me, "Always remember I love you". Jesus often comes to me in my dreams in the appearance of friends, relatives, and ordinary people. It must have been HIM! The 'storm' is something everyone was warned about, something everyone could avoid with spiritual and physical provisions, but it is the righteous that heed the warnings and those who reject Jesus will will not be prepared. Those who ignored the signs and reject Christ will suddenly have no control over their lives...and disaster over takes them suddenly, with no escape.

HERE'S ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF JESUS APPEARING IN A DREAM TO ME, HE REVEALED HIMSELF AT THE END OF THE DREAM, ITS A REMINDER OF MATHEW 25:31-45 & "whoever does the will of GOD is my brother, my sister, my mother MARK 3:31-35". . HE OFTEN DOES THIS TO ME.
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Remember in my dream my grandfather said he was thirsty. This was Jesus visiting.

This dream had Passover in it ( I forgot it was comming up!) I think the dream is pretty clear cut in its message so I post it here.

I was riding in the passenger seat of my own car and my father was driving through the country side. The air temperature was very warm, like summer, and the grass was green, but it was after the harvest because all the fields had been harvested of their crops ( after the harvest of the earth) I looked up at the sky and it was divided in half. One half of the sky was black, and in the black sky the sun was MUCH bigger ( meaning the sun had to be much closer ) and I could see every detail of the sun; every promience, sun spots, ribbons, etc. The heat under this sky was like a great furnance or volcano. The other half the sky was blue, no clouds, and the sun was normal, and the air temperature was just perfect. I was under the blue sky. I was feeling a little afraid of the black sky, because it followed after us, bathing the homes of sinners with a horrible heat but, I was always under the blue sky. I remarked how awful that heat must be, even indoors, because the sun would cook the house through the windows ( remember the heat in Revelation that punishes sinners left alive on earth? ) .
Dad said, "That's it! We are going to settle these apocalypse dreams of yours once and for all!"

We stopped at a little church. It looked like it hadn't been used in years (spiritual neglect in Christian community). I thought it was empty but inside were people. All these people that called themselves Christian were no different then the sinners they lived among. They were not interested in praising GOD or growing spiritually, all they wanted was an excuse to party! They drank beer and celebrated Passover by sweeping bread crumbs around on the floor instead of the actual passover bread. They were so into hearing their own noise making, they were so loud, I couldn't hear myself think. I asked, 'How can I even have a serious conversation with God around here? How can I focus on God with these people's attitudes?'

I sat down in resignation. Dad sat with me, then I noticed He had a light around him and coming from him. I recongnized this wasn't my Dad, this was Jesus appearing to me in a dream in the form of my Dad. He smiled at me, a knowing kind of smile like "See what's it like?" I was the only one in church who recongnized the presence of Jesus. Some boy offered me a drink of water for me and 'my old man' like he was a worthless human being not worth's anyone's time because he didn't bring any beer for them. Sad statement if most people who call themselves Christian are like this.
