Full Version: Praying To Mary To Cast Out Demons?

Been reading a fascinating book, THE VATICAN'S EXORCISTS, by Tracy Wilkinson. Based on what I read of interviews with various Catholic excorcists in the book, there seems to be a an agreement among them that Mary was must be evoked calling her 'the enternal enemy of all demons' and all excorcisms must be done in Latin. Based on what I read in the Bible, none of the excorcisms in the Bible ever mentioned casting out demons in the name of Mary, and none were in Latin. It's my understanding that Jesus and apostles spoke Aramaic. I disagree completely with the Catholic excorcists on this point. The Vatican seems to want to keep excorism as a deep dark secret, an embrassment at times, not to be used too often. I disagree with that too. Excorcism is part of our job as believers. There's more people messing with Satanic cults and pagan religons where Satan and demons can freely enter a person so it stands to reason, that we need to fight the Enemy harder. What do you think of all this?

...Before going treading on any Serpents, preparing one's self is the most important thing you can do. Eph 6:10 - 18 (I think) tells us what we need. In addition I would recommend a team of prayer warriors, as well as a few other men and for sure a woman if you are praying over a female, to be there assisting in praying over others. Be studied, prayed up, and humble as hell.

Go slow and respect the enemy. Yes we can be cocky because we know the final outcome, but Natas is no slouch. He is subtle, cunning, almost irresistable, a liar, a gun for hire, and he has a loyal following. So prepare UP before you even think of going after Him, if you don't, he'll hurt you if not kill you. Godspeed.

...I know that if someone has a demon cast out of them, they will bring back seven others worse than he, and if you give them the slightess opening, they will pry your spirit open like the Jaws for Life, and all come in and sit a spell.

I don't care for the New Age whatever, but this is what the Bible says (paraphrasing).

...we agree

It is possible for demons to possess people. however, Satan loves to work with the Vatican.
A demon gets possessed and the Vatican looks good excercising something under it's name. It's a win-win situation for both of them.

You can be with demons...

a. Obsessed
b. Oppressed
c. Possessed

Not to split hairs, but that is how I see it from my studies and travels. There is no name above the name of Jesus. Mary was a instrument used of God for his purpose, just like everyone else who has answered the call.

Demons reconize one name above all others, Jesus Christ the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

I agree with the seven others, but as a part of a prayer team, it is my understanding that if you clean a house and leave it empty that is when a demon returns with seven others.
When involved in prayer ministry and a demon or spirit has been removed and all prayer for healing, protection and asking the Lord to show the person His perfect love. We ask the Holy Spirit to come and fill that person with His Spirit. demons or evil spirits can not live in the same house as the Spirit of God.
We all have the authorithy, to cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ, but we have to ask the Holy Spirit to fill the person. Removing spirits or demons, healing, and all the gifts of the Spirit are ours according to the Word of God. So don't be afraid to pray for removing spirits or demons, just fill them up after with the true Spirit.

I agree whole heartedly. Demons will return and even hover over you waiting for the oppurtinilty to bring his friends along. After a while, as your wall gets built up, they will leave, but always watching for another oppurtunity to enter (possesion). Otherwsie they can do it from the outside (opression).

Either way, don't be afraid of it as you said. Staying in the Word is the best recipe to hold off attacks.
