Honey Bees, The Sun's Heat and Sick Seas

People sure love to give me grief, but you know what? I'm so right when I say that the stage is being set for literal fulfillment of the Bible's prophecies to occur! If my skeptics can't see that, they're not looking!
HONEY BEES
Recently, the Associated Press reported the following, in part:
A mysterious illness is killing tens of thousands of honeybee colonies across the country, threatening honey production, the livelihood of beekeepers and possibly crops that need bees for pollination.
And then there is this, coming out of the U.K. via The Telegraph:
Swarms of giant hornets renowned for their vicious stings and skill at massacring honeybees have settled in France.
And there are now so many of the insects that entomologists fear it will just be a matter of time before they cross to Britain.
Global warming has largely been blamed for the survival and spread of the Asian Hornet, Vespa velutina, which is thought to have arrived in France from the Far East in a consignment of Chinese pottery in late 2004.
Thousands of football-shaped hornet nests are now dotted all over the forests of Aquitaine, the south-western region of France hugely popular with British tourists.
"Their spread across French territory has been like lightning," said Jean Haxaire, the entomologist who originally identified the new arrival.
What is the threat posed here and the prophetic significance? In the United States we see how a mysterious pestilence is killing off honey bees, which has potential to threaten many crops and, thus, the food supply.
Luke 21:11: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
And in Europe? A massacre of honey bees is underway, potentially as a result of global warming, which may be a result of our next topic - the sun's heat. Regardless of the reason, we see honey bee populations under threat - and, potentially, the world's food supply as well, all of which potentially plays into the future as seen in Bible prophecy.
THE SUN'S HEAT
January 2007, as hard as it may be for those living in the northeastern United States to believe, was the warmest on record globally, according to LiveScience.
The article states, in part (emphasis added mine):
The average global temperature last month was the highest for any January on record, according to NOAA, climbing to 55.13 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 1.53 degrees warmer than the 20th-century average. The global reading, an average of measurements taken over land and sea, beat out the previous record for a January, set in 2002 at 54.88 degrees.
Not only did we have the warmest January on record globally, a Space.com article's headline reminds us of the lateness of the hour we're living in: Surprising Solar Storms Rage at Sun's South Pole.
The prophetic connection? In the book of Revelation, particularly Revelation 16:8-9, we see that the sun is going to sear men with heat in the future!
Revelation 16:8-9: And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
AND...
Luke 21:25: And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
SICK SEAS
A Guardian Unlimited article opens as follows (emphasis added mine):
A few months ago, the clear blue Pacific Ocean waters off the coast of Oregon suddenly turned a thick greenish brown. A swell of nutrients produced a bizarre blooming of plankton that reached levels never seen before by scientists. Then the plankton died and sank, causing oxygen levels in the water to plummet to zero.
The living ocean was transformed into a dead zone. Scientists conducted a submarine survey and found only the bodies of crabs and marine worms scattered across the ocean floor. There were no signs of any fish. Nothing had survived the cataclysm.
The potential prophetic connection is that what took place off the coast of Oregon is symptomatic of what is going to take place globally in the prophetic future, according to the Word of God!
Revelation 16:3: And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
What is a quality that all the blood of the dead has in common? It's without oxygen; it's LIFELESS!
While none of the above may ultimately play a role in the fulfillment of God's prophetic plan, we know that all of it is quite possibly a sign of things to come - reasons to be looking up for the return of Jesus Christ.
