Full Version: Jesus Coming Back This Year?

Could we be this close to going home??? I was told that Jesus was coming back in the first part of this year in the spring. I seen a battle in the heavens and Satan being sent to earth. He choose a man which everyone knows to indwell. Before this Jesus came to get his own. He took only those who was watching for his appearing. Those who had his spirit.

Gods Spirit was taken from the earth, which caused a great darkness to cover the earth. All forms of love disappeared from the heart of man. In a vision I was shown these things, I am sharing this because I don't know what else to do. What is the odds of this coming to pass?
Who knows? I hope I haven't broken any rules by putting this here. God bless you all.

I seen this in a vision, heard the words spoken while praying. I've been shown many visions since I've been saved most pertaining to me.

I might add, the visions are always accurate, its my interpretation of what I see is not always reliable. All I can say is I found hope in the vision, if It comes to pass we will all hopefully rejoice, if he doesnt come back then it is I who has erred and will stand corrected.

Please don't run out and sell the farm, just be watchful and rejoice in the fact that he is very close to returning if not this year. God Bless

According to 2 Thes. 2, Jesus will not return to rapture his children until two things occure.

1. There is a great apostasy or falling away of the faith

2. The anti-Christ is revealed.

Note that it doesn't say that the anti-christ will be in power. It only says that he will be revealed. So possibly is introduced to the world as a possibly important potilitical figure but we are not aware that he will be.

Is there a great falling away from the faith yet? Well yes possibly. There arn't as many people who make Jesus a daily part of there lives anymore. There are those who only go to church and think that is enough. There may be a greater falling away soon when there is more info revealed about the finding of Jesus' bones with Mary Magdalen and their children. They are easily led astray by false information.

I guess it is possible

Allow me GW to give you what I believe the Word of God says, and you can take it with a grain of salt should you choose too.

I believe God's Prophet's need to be acurate ALWAYS! There are some on this forum that says you can be wrong and still be a Prophet. So pick your poison.

If you go with the same belief I have, if Jesus doesn't come this spring, you can never do this again, because you know you are not Gods Prophet.

If you subscribe to the other way, then Preach all you want and let the chips fall where they may, and 8 out of ten times if you're right, that would be acceptable.

Does this make since? I am not casting stones here.
Pamela
Barn, that was nicely put...

GW this could be a dream of preparation...As we should always be in a state of being ready, in season or out of season...

Continue to pray on what was shown you. Test the spirit and line it up to Scripture...If God gave it, then He will give it according to what He has instructed us...He will never leave us wanting, confused or picking at air...

I have always believed that He remains in the simple things, have said as much so many times...Don't confuse the things of the Lord with the things of this world...

Peace to ya...

If this were a true vision you would not be asking us what the odds of it coming to pass were.

Also we know that Christ cannot return before the man of lawlessness appears. We also know that the man of lawlessness rules for around 3.5 years before Christ returns.

Therefore the Return of Christ IS NOT IMMINENT as some of our kooky pretrib rapturators believe.
How do I know? Because the apostle Paul told me so in

2 Thess 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, [1] 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

So therefore the odds of your vision coming to pass are precisely zero.

I just want to say to you here that there is such a spirit of hostility and name calling in some here that proclaim the name of Jesus as their King. I really dont understand why you have to answer in this way.

I always thought that we were to be ready to instruct with the fruit of the Spirit in love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition.

Jesus said: ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

I want to go home SO bad... But I don't feel like it's anywhere near time for that yet. I feel like I'm being groomed for something... Like Esther, before she met the king...

I'm really upset with the bias of this forum. This jab of mine ("kooky pre-trib rapturators") is incredibly mild and yet I am receiving a howl of protest. It was not directed at any particular member but was designed as a mildly humourous jibe at an erroneus false doctrine of the modern church.
When another member directly called me a jerk, boorish, disrespectful, haughty, spewing forth venom, immature, speaking prattle and heresy hunting, not a single person came to my defence or corrected the person who attacked me. Indeed the consensus of the thread supported the person in his name calling and personal attack.

Nevertheless I appreciate the scripture you have quoted for my benefit and can see that I need to tighten up in this area. I am too often striving to correct foolish and unlearned posts when the scripture which you quoted teaches that I should completely ignore profane and vain babblings.

I do believe that I am gentle and kind toward the saints and genuine Christians. My ire has always been reserved for imposters who promote false doctrines of demons and who preach false prophecies. They say they are Christians but in fact they are of the church of Satan and come here to spread lies amongst the saints and to deceive. I have been trying to expose their false teachings using the two edged sword of the scripture and many of them react not with explanations of the scripture but with open hostility and accusations. They sling mud at me and invariably some of it sticks and my reputation is tarnished unfairly.

When I ask for links to posts to prove that I have been uncaring, name-calling, hostile etc., they invariably do not provide any. Even less do they provide any apology for their false accusations.

The apostle prophesied that it was inevitable that ungodly teachings will flourish in the church like a cancer as the church falls into ungodliness; and that there is very little that can be done about it except to stand firm as an individual. Therefore I will stand corrected and avoid nonsense. I admit that it has been taking its toll on me and other areas of my life begin to suffer because of the never ending and fruitless battle against false doctrine and false prophecies. Constantly battling with hostile and vain people can tend to make you hardened and less caring. As you say it does not produce fruit of love joy peace and kindness.

So I will take your comments on board and make some changes to strive to be meek and lowly when addressing others. Thanks.

2 Tim 2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: [2] of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, [4] 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Hi Excubitor,

I am new here, therefore I can look at this in an unbiased fashion, because I have yet to get to know posters on here. So, with an unbiased eye, I would say your tone, moreso than the name calling, is fairly harsh, and maybe too pointed. Don't make someone feel bad or stupid for saying something they believe. That's all.

Trust me, I have gotten in on some knock down drag out fights on the net that lasted for weeks. On this forum, civil exchanges should be the order of the day. I think you are a good poster though, I should point that out as well. You bring a needed element to the ranks that keeps us all on our toes..

EX...I would hardly call my question to you "A howl of protest." It was a simple question, that's all...
We, as Christians should always retain a teachable spirit so we don't miss what the Holy Spirit is teaching us either through others or in our private time of study....
The Lord may be drawing your attention to it so you can come up out of this immature nature. We should be joyous when correction comes not defensive...
But Praise be to the Lord, EX.... 1dsz5e4.gif

I have no agenda, am not a crackpot, do not claim to have any special connections to the spirit world and don't care what people think of me.

My walk with the Lord is my responsibility, he will not blame you if I miss the mark. I have the impression that your problem with my post was that you somehow think it supports a pre-trib view. There is no way on earth that you can be sure its not going to be a Rapture, unless of course God has personally shown you, and that be the case then you must include yourself in the condemning words of your post The arguments for are against the Rapture cannot be supported 100% in the Bible. I have read hundreds of books on the subject and searched Gods word for 31yrs, so I know this to be true. When he does come, none of this will matter anyway, we'll be to busy basking in his glory. God bless you all
