As you know I have moved back to Colorado believing God has called me to start a R.A.V.E.N. International chapter here.

For those of you who don't know, RAVEN is mostly a street ministry, bringing the grass-roots gospel back where it belongs... the by-ways etc.

I personally believe that the church as a whole has lost touch with evangelisim because they are so busy with the "programs" of the church. RAVEN preaches simple salvation and repentence. No frills. No games. No gimmicks to get numbers up. Just the TRUTH of God being preached usually on the streets in our nations cities.

Please visit their website. www.biggrace.com

Before returning to Colorado, I prayed and asked the Lord to give me my home town for HIM. I asked the Lord to let me show him what I can do for him...... I am embarrassed at the heartfelt child like prayer, God responded with; "let ME show you what I CAN DO!" Humbled at how silly I must have sounded to the God of the Universe, telling him I will do something... OYYYYYYYY! I meant well, but God truly reminded me that it is nothing I do that has any weight, but rather what He does through me.

I am currently gathering contacts of godly men (and women) to form a foundation for this ministry. I am praying that the founder of RAVEN along with our beloved Chrio39 can come and share with the group at a meeting that has not yet been set.

Please will you pray?

My goal is to have a team assembled by August so that we can do outreach at the Colorado State Fair towards the end of that month.

Thanks for your prayers.

Hugs
Miche

May the Lord be with you and bless this ministry. Amen
Romans 11:17-22

If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not boast over those branches.

If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in."

Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid.

For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.

MIche, you have such a humble heart. Most of our churches are dwindling, while the mega churches thrive. They don't want to build up the established churches, in our area. (The ones that are dwindling, in membership.) But rather, open new churches, instead. Its a numbers game, to drive out the old and bring in the new. Not everything new, is good. Our church doesn't have anything to offer, but the WORD. And, I don't feel the LORD is through with churches that are truly SCRIPTURE DRIVEN, WORD BASED and no nonesense. This is why I work to reach the children, so very hard. I am about to start a youth group, too. I give the LORD GLORY, because it is by HIS HAND, that these things are happening here. GOD is GOOD! HE sends those that are needing to fill useful, and HE is using us!

I don't know much about RAVEN, but I do know you and Chrio, both have hearts deeply committed to the MINISTRY. I will be praying for workers to come and work in the fields, that GOD has planted you in, and that the HARVEST will be REAPED, for HIS GLORY.

I am praying for a huge Street Light Ministry event again, to take place here. GOD AMAZES me. When I was first introduced to Street Ministry, we had an active group that went out. The church soon fell into another pastor's hands, and the group was disrupted. What I am seeing though, is GOD moving us back together, through the use of Facebook. It really is AMAZING. What HE STARTS, no man can tear apart. We may all live in different states, but the goals are still there, to reach as many as we can for CHRIST. We can use that social networking website, to pray and support each other, again.

If only, more churches, would get on board, and really hit the streets for JESUS. Just think, we could turn this nation on its heals!Posted Image Posted Image
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Psalms 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Matthew 18:35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

REDEEMED and FORGIVEN! PRAISE the LORD!

Doing the LORD'S WORK is more important than personal gain. (See Ezra 5:1-5 and Haggai 1.) If the LORD is doing a WORK, I want to be serving HIM in it.

Do you know JESUS? HE's my BEST FRIEND.

Psalms 118:26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

May the LORD bless you always, Susan

Hey Miche, I'll come sometime and teach and help the group that you gather. I found that when I responded to God's call to go to the streets, there were others that joined me when they found out I was going. They have been faithful to continue. We'll be hitting the streets tonight, and again tomorrow night after the super bowl.

You know the chalenges and some of the rewards. The fellowship & comradery that we experience, along with the boldness that we develope are treasures that we keep.

To God be the glory!

You are so right Susan,
We all have the same desire.... seing the lost saved. I am so glad to hear about the ministry you are working in. Keep us posted in the "Outreach testimony" forum.
God tarries only because he wants all men to be saved.

I am so glad you and so many on this forum are heeding the call to go out into all the world preaching the gospel and making deciples.

Hugs,
Miche
