Yes hurricans are an end time sign, with Luke 21:25 saying people will look at the roaring and tossing of the sea with perplexity. But the main end sign prophecy is the revealing of the son of perdition , wonder how long the Lord will take to return?

SENTEAMI, (SANT- AH-MEE)
my name comes from a small winding street among ancient gardens where I spent my youth, in Metz, France. The town has now grown around it, yet the street and name remain. It means "SENTE A MI" (French for "path o' mine"). I have heard that a couple of lovers used to meet and greet in this street on a regular basis.
It has a feel of "ancient French province" don't it? :)

Priest who said hurricane 'punishment' promoted
Feb 02, 2009
An Austrian priest who has been quoted as calling Hurricane Katrina God's punishment for sin in New Orleans,
is being promoted to the rank of bishop. The Vatican announced that Pope Benedict XVI has tapped the
Rev Gerhard Wagner, 54, to be auxiliary bishop in Linz, Austria. He has served since 1988 as a priest in Windischgarsten. In 2005 he was quoted in a parish newsletter as saying he was convinced that the death
and destruction of Hurricane Katrina was "divine retribution" for New Orleans' tolerance of homosexuals
and laid-back sexual attitudes.

Hurricane Katrina was an example of Christ's warning in Matthew 24:17,18 to flee without taking things out of the house.
Those who failed to flee in a timely way were later turned back as they tried to leave by men with guns who didn't want refugees in neighboring town.
But Christ's warning really applied to Rome and when the Roman army under Cestius came, they fled and were spared the siege and destruction by Titus.
Rome fell, but the Holy Roman Empire emerged and in a first-ever visit by a pope, John Paul went to Jerusalem a few years ago.
Since then, Jerusalem has been "compassed with armies" of Palestinians and Muslems. Christ implied "the time of desolation is nigh," Luke 21:20.
Now comes Titus//Benedict. For reasons beyond the scope of this brief post, the historic parallels and Christ's linking clue, "as in the days of Noah,"
suggest this will be huge. For better understanding, visit www.PopesVisit.net

The richest promise in the Bible is linked to the wedding parables. "He will make [us] ruler over all that He has" if we are "watching...that when He comes and knocks, [we] may open unto Him immediately." Luke 12:36,44.
