It was the middle 90's when l had this dream. I was walking with my youngest son hand in hand down the street in front of my old rental house on the beach on Puget Sound. It was summer type weather. The door was open. My sister was in the front room playing poker with her friends. My mom and dad were upstairs asleep.

THE INTERPRETATION:
l believe the Lord has revealed the interpretation of this dream to me a piece at a time over the years.
My mom and dad asleep upstairs........ means both dead and in heaven. In reality at the time of the dream my mom was dead and had come to peace with the Lord in the months preceding her death. My Dad isn't yet dead. Though not a Christian, l have been believing this peace for him as well. I believe that parents both asleep upstairs is that resting assurance. My dad is 86 and in very poor health. I've wondered if he would make it through the cold and flu season this year.
My sister playing poker with her friends.........means the obvious. She's not saved and is very liberal minded. Recently she has become involved with astrology and new age as l was when living in that house in the 70's. Thus the dream of her in my old house playing poker with her friends. Holding my youngest sons hand.......This always bothered me as my youngest son is not interested in Christianity but my oldest one is on fire for the Lord. Where was my oldest? l thought. l believe the Lord showed me that this meant that my oldest had already come of age, and the youngest not being 18 was still under my covering. Thus holding my hand My oldest is 18. My youngest is 16 and will turn 17 in early April of 2004.
If this is truly of the Lord, the revelation of my son's age and my fathers death immediately establishes a time line. It was a summer type day in the dream because we were without coats and the door was open. It could also be early fall. We don't get this type of weather in March and April in the Pacific Northwest. If you think about it, this would only leave the summer or early fall of 2004 open as a possibility, because in the summer of 2005 my son will have already turned 18.
My neighbors name was Jon B. Jolly................Get it? No one answered the door.
THE SUMMERY:
What is this wave coming sometime in the fall or summer of 2004? Why was my sister and the house she was in and destroyed by such a huge wave and yet my son and l remained untouched? (as well as the porch) I didn't even know my sister had gotten into astrology until l had lunch with her this summer. I shared the dream with her. Will my dad die before my youngest son's 18th birthday? What is God saying here? Is my neighbors name symbolic of eat drink and be merry? I believe prophetic dreams give us an opportunity to intercede. Even the porch and combination laundry room is significant. Let's all intercede for our family and neighbors! (The porch is on the east side of that house.)

You wrote to me on Sept. 30 of this year (2003) and asked me about the 'porch'. But I could not give you a good explanation, (especially since you never told me the dream, but only asked what the 'porch' symbolized in the bible). I told you that I would be putting out this forum soon and that you can ask others then; but, I never realized that I had the same dream just days earlier!
I had two spiritual dreams about a tidal wave---much the same as yours! "In the mouth of two or three witnesses let everything be established.") I tried to warn my dad who was lounging along with others and ignoring the warnings signs. My Dad does not believe my warnings. I try to drag him out hand and foot. Then I wake up. It also is not a coincidence that just today I had these strong thoughts come to me to remove the codes from the Net. But I remembered the dreams I have had warning me to see to it that I warn others by this encoded prophecy given to me that judgment is coming. This in a way, is a prayer request but l also feel it is revealing more.
I've always believed there where two waves coming...
I will describe a recent situation and if someone wants to pray that would be great.
Though this is a personal family matter l believe what God showed me then
is coming to the foreground...
My sister called me yesterday to tell me she had gone to psychic and they had given "me" a message.
Basically the demon knew K... (my sister) had a sister and pretty much got my name correct..saying l was miche ... (Which is a combination of my given name and nick name) That l had an unusual name..My sister told them l was Miki..He told my sister my father had a message for me...but l probably wouldn't believe it because l was a "Bible thumper". But my father said to tell Miki that he had made it to the "other side" so not to worry..That l should remember oatmeal cookies with raisins.."
Now my input. The last thing l am is a "Bible thumper"...at least in the negative sense.
I was concerned about my Father
before he died not after.
There were many signs surrounding his death and many things to show me the Lord had received my wayward Father... as many of you know if you've watched the forum for a time. I was never concerned where he was after he died...and I never liked oatmeal cookies with raisins nor did l know he did. K... knew but l didn't
I told my sister that Dad was with the Lord...to be absent from the body was to be present with the Lord and the Bible forbids speaking with the dead and it was called necromancy..She started to get irritated and told me that was my opinion. l told her it wasn't something l conjured up in my mind as opinion but was according to scripture. I believed the Bible to be the inerrant word of God.
If that wasn't enough today in Sunday School someone raise their hand and l could feel the Spirit of the Lord begin to quicken in me and l "knew" the Lord was getting ready to speak through Dr.Rick. It was about the Holy Ghost but quickly morphed into a short talk on psychics and how they supposedly talk to the dead. Rick said that when you die you are either in heaven or hell..to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and necromancy is prohibited in the Bible.
It was great confirmation. l had done well with my sister...
God has given me a second warning dream with her...both to do with a wave overtaking her. She only recently had a severe warning when pulling into her garage. She hit the gas instead of the break and crashed full speed into a partially open garage door breaking her nose...coming frighteningly close to decapitating her. (she has a convertable) It took out her furnace, washer and dryer and back wall of her kitchen.. It was around the time l had the second dream...
I think this was done to produce fear...wanting me to believe my Father was lost forever and K... was about to follow in his footsteps............
But my Father is with the Lord!
The last dream l had was that the my 2 sisters and l went to my grandmas house. (my Dad's mother)..But they weren't there. They had gone to the beach..K... went down to look for them and l saw a large wave come and then a second even larger one..I knew Kay was lost.
I believe the dream meant she is following in my fathers line. I am the only one l know of, on that side of the family that is walking with the Lord...(and there's a lot of them!)A cousins wife is a believer but she is not in the blood line.
I think the first smaller wave was her accident with the garage door.
I also believe that this is a way of the Lord showing me that the devil is going to attempt to avert her attempts at getting into the house (his house) before it's to late...
This is a severe warning for my sister....Can we defeat him? I will talk to my sister again...
I also strangely feel this has something to do with this first dream..perhaps a larger wave that's about to break...? We all have people like this we know. Let's speak in forthright manner with them in Love..hoping to avert the plans of the enemy...How many warnings do we get?
In the first dream my sister would have been safe if she made it to the porch..In this dream she was trying to drive into the garage...
Maybe not a meaning? but the Lord is watching over this dream and us. Love that person you're believing for..
Weep between the proch and alter before their time runs out.
