This dream really puzzles me any assistance would be appreciated.

I dreamed I was at home and just like in real life, we have a field of several acres behind the house that is adjacent to state wildlife area. In the dream, the field was filled with that golden or straw colored dry grass. Mark, my Dad, and myself were planning to go hunting that day. Next to the field are woods bordered by evergreens (we have woods, but don't have big grove of evergreens bordering them). It was really nice sunny day.

I looked out my bedroom window out at the field and I saw lightening strike the field. The field caught fire. I thought maybe it won't spread very far. I went downstairs and watched it from the back door. The fire spread rapidly until there was a towering inferno http://edweb.sdsu.ed...es/fire2000.jpg . I thought maybe it won't come near the cabin. It then spread so quickly it was apparent that it would start to burn down the cabin. I alerted Dad, who was still in bed, and he went outside and started watering the backyard down with the hose. I thought this looked a little silly, there's this big inferno and Dad's trying to put a stop to it with a little hose. The fire stopped at the back yard and came no closer.

After the fire was mostly out, the land looked completely black, and there were little stumps sticking up. This was no ordinary aftermath of a fire, I got this horrible sinking feeling, that this was completely and utter desolation for the whole world, the end of mankind...with no chance of recovery, complete despair. Something told me, that this was tragic results of mankind's interference with Nature.

A few fires were still burning, even though it looked like there was nothing left to burn up. We were not going to go hunting today. Certainly the animals escaped. Just then, 2 badly burned waterbucks
( http://wzus.ask.com/...cobelechwe1.jpg ) walked up to me on my porch seeking my help. I invited one in (the other walked off) and the female waterbuck rested on my couch while I coated her burns with an anathestic soothing gel. I told her she can stay as long as she likes to recover.

I ventured out to the pines ( the forest was untouched ) and 2 little dogs, one silver or white, and one black, ran happily up to me asking me if they can come to my house and play with my dogs. END OF DREAM

I don't have an interpretation on this - but I had a thought - several actually. If this was a God sent fire - you wouldn't have that sinking feeling - unless it was out of compassion for those unsaved. Also - if you consider back to the times in the Bible - the known world - mankind - was in that area covered by the Bible - so the destruction and end of mankind could be the unsaved.

I have an odd feeling - as I was typing something earlier about the Palestinian state - I got dizzy for a moment - which is odd coz I'm sitting down - but I feel something 'tickling' me in my mind - I can't focus - I feel particularly unfocussed so I cannot explain what I'm meaning here properly. Today is not a good day for a God message! The kids are bonkers and it's only 20 to 8am!

So to shorten - and try to get to the point - maybe the fire is the 'Fires of Sin'. The destruction and desolation that sin brings. Your application of the soothing gel - the Words of God.

bye - although it wasn't supposed to be an interp - maybe that's what it was.  B)

Thanks for the huggles! I think you are on to something, so I did a word search on BibleGateway and typed in 'dry grass' this is what came up:
Isaiah 5:24
Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the LORD Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel.

The whole of Isaiah chapter 5 reminds me of American culture of today, and I wonder if God sent invaders tp attack Israel, HE would send enimies againist the U.S for dividing Israel and rejecting Him. Condi Rice said now is the time for a Palestinian State...this is rejecting the law of the LORD Almighty and spurning the word of the Holy One of Israel...she and Bush claim to be Christians...if so don't they realize if they interefere, they will get burned?

I wonder if the lightening represents a spark of a conflict that spreads all over the world due to the interference by the United States to divide Israel to create the State of Palestine. Then I could be wrong, but I think you are right, M.

"Hell Comes to California"
Openly love each other, for this is pure, undefiled religion.

This dream really puzzles me any assistance would be appreciated.

I dreamed I was at home (home is in the Kingdom) and just like in real life, we have a field (world) of several acres behind the house that is adjacent to state wildlife area. In the dream, the field was filled with that golden or straw colored dry grass (grass = mankind...Psa 102:11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; And I am withered like grass.Psa 37:1 A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, Neither be thou envious against them that work unrighteousness.
Psa 37:2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. )
Mark, my Dad, and myself were planning to go hunting that day. Next to the field are woods bordered by evergreens (we have woods, but don't have big grove of evergreens bordering them).(Trees are the people of the Lord:
Psa 104:16 The trees of Jehovah are filled with moisture, The cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted; Isa 10:19 And the remnant of the trees of his forest shall be few, so that a child may write them. ...and many more scriptures will show that God's people are called trees
)

It was really nice sunny day. (The Lord is coming when we do not expect Him. People will be eating and drinking)
I looked out my bedroom window out at the field and I saw lightening strike the field.(world Mat 13:38 and the field is the world ) The field caught fire. I alerted Dad, who was still in bed, (Your Dad is the symbol for the Father and He is resting through all of this) and he went outside and started watering the backyard down with the hose. I thought this looked a little silly, there's this big inferno and Dad's trying to put a stop to it with a little hose. The fire stopped at the back yard and came no closer. (God is able to protect His own, even if it looks impossible in our human eyes and difficult to believe Psm 91 )

Rev 18:8 Therefore in one day shall her plagues come, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judged her.

A few fires were still burning, even though it looked like there was nothing left to burn up. We were not going to go hunting today. Certainly the animals escaped. Just then, 2 badly burned waterbucks

I ventured out to the pines ( the forest was untouched ) (God protected His people : again Psm 91 ) and 2 little dogs, one silver or white, and one black, ran happily up to me asking me if they can come to my house and play with my dogs. END OF DREAM

There are survivors of this day of wrath, because we know that some with the beast-nature (dogs) will be outside Jerusalem (the Bride) and will be ruled by the saints:Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and he that keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give authority over the nations:

That is all I am getting, but I am sure there is more to it. I do not get anything regarding the waterbuck.
love C

I forgot to add:Luk 17:24 for as the lightning, when it lighteneth out of the one part under the heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall the Son of man be in his day.
2Cor.3:18) But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.
If your face is truly unveiled you will accept what happened at the cross and see by faith the finished work of Christ in the mirror. Only in this walk of faith are we “transformed into the same image”.
