Hello Forum,

I've had many people e-mail me regarding how to post pictures. I'm not sure how much capacity this forum will hold....because there are limitations on how much a website can handle. Shekel will know this I believe.

Anyways....let's remember before posting pictures that they should be in good taste as not to offend anyone. I was hesitant that some of mine were questionable. But we want to take it easy on the moderators of this forum too! Because if you see your picture there one day and gone the next then it is for three reasons: 1.) the picture was questionable and may have been offensive or offended someone so the moderators simply took it off. Which is why we need them! 2.) The website pointing to the http url is down. 3.) The image was no longer available on that website or whatever.

So, with that said. Here we go (hopefully these will work or I'll look ):

1.) If you want to post pictures that you see on other websites, the JPG pictures work the best (within good taste of course!) then you would simply RIGHT CLICK on the picture and go to PROPERTIES, then you should see the ADDRESS/URL starting with HTTP. It should end in .JPG. Copy it by hitting CTRL/C for copy.

2.) When you are entering your post....wherever you want to position the picture, then click on the IMG button above for image. A box will pop up and then go ahead and hit CTRL/V for paste. You have just pasted your ADDRESS/URL. You might have to delete the HTTP that already pops up. The picture will not show up in the body, so you hit the PREVIEW button. That way you can see if it works.

3.) For GIF animated images....I haven't really tried them on this site so here goes!

Well it works under preview...so hopefully it will work when I post the new topic. You can even right click on the picture I posted and see what website I got it from.

This should spice up the forum a bit.

Oh...btw...not sure about copyright infringement...better look that up too!

how about posting a personal photo on our control panel page? I tried it several times following the prompts and it didn't work. Who..opps Bo has a picture up?

Are you talking about putting up a personal picture where you avatar (bird picture is)?? If you have any pics on your hard drive you can hit browse and upload any personal photos for your avatar or personal photo in the control panel. The thing that I have a problem with is posting personal photos in your messages. I think what Appy is trying to say is that if we have an account or if our photos are on another website such as: http://www.photobucket.com we can post them in our new posts and replies. Right Appy? Simply because they have the URL (uniform resource locator). Everyone's pc can recognize where they their address and give people the ability to view them.

Am I right? Todd?? Appy??
