Hi Everyone,
A friend of mine has started a Wednesday prayer meeting that will meet each Wednesday from now until...well, whenever! There are other Christians around the globe doing the same thing now. Specifically, she is organizing to pray for family, the folks who she works with, the corporate leaders of her company, and for the people of this country to awaken - to hear HIS voice and to see and understand HIS word:

Isaiah 60:1-2 Arise (wake up!), shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of Jehovah is risen upon thee. For, behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but Jehovah will arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And nations shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: they all gather themselves together, they come to thee; thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be carried in the arms. Then thou shalt see and be radiant, and thy heart shall thrill and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned unto thee, the wealth of the nations shall come unto thee.

I am asking you to do the same. If you can, at 12 Noon in whatever timezone you are in, please take time to pray for your families, neighbors, and our nation. In fact, please pray for the people of all nations to hear the Gospel. I might organize a GoToMeeting web conference as well (it only hosts 16 people at once) on some Wednesdays at 12:00 PM CST (US) to allow us to list the topics people want to pray about. I think it would be a pretty neat thing to do, and since so many of us are committed to CHRIST, it should be an exciting time!

More details on the web conference thing later. Just know that to participate in that, you will need earphones and a microphone to participate verbally.

I will send out a request to my e-mail buddies to be in prayer on Wed at noon. Yes, there is such a feeling of joy and unity when we join our spirits and pray to our Father.

Hi everyone,
Just a reminder that today at 12 PM, in each time zone, lots of people are either gathering or taking time to pray for our relationship with CHRIST, for our families, our national leaders and neighbors. Please join the thousands that are committed to praying each Wed at 12 PM in each timezone to pray for these very things. This will hopefully become an ongoing, never ending practice.

Thanks Todd. I am glad that you have reminded me.

We have several family members that need prayer. My husband's Aunt Joyce, is not doing well. She is on a ventilator at home. We went to see her yesterday. My grandson, Hunter, who is 2 years old, may have a dime size tumor on his frontal lobe. This is from his brain bleeds right after birth. He has seizures and a mild form of cerebral palsey. Both of my daughters are sick, and so is one of my other grandsons. So far, I have stayed healthy. PRAISE the LORD!

We also need prayer for the Children's Church Ministry to continue to grow, and also for our Church to be a LIGHT on the HILL, where it is, in our inner city. We are preparing to start up the Street Light Ministry soon.

My prayers are for our churches to be active in seeking the LORD'S WILL, and for reaching the lost.

My prayers are for this world, as we see the SIGNS unfolding quickly.

Praying for our government leadership, and for all nations, that will soon face GOD'S WRATH.
