LAYING HOLD OF THE INFINITE SUPPLY
by Dr. Ronald Powell 8/1

"Laying Hold of the Infinite Supply"

Eph 1:18-20 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.

My Child,
All of God is available to man through Christ, but the sinner does not know it. Many times your conversations is like the blind man, you see, but you do not see. You know you have have met with Me in Christ, but you do not see that all things are now yours. You still pray for what is in front of you ready to be taken. You are still blind to the supply. You see a whirlpool of hate and pray for love, not realizing love Himself is joined to your spirit and waits for you to begin living out what you do not feel. You still see confusion and darkness, not realizing that you are at unity with light and wisdom and as you live out from Christ darkness will be swallowed in light. You are surrounded by not only your needs, but the needs of thousands of others. If you do not know you are in unity with the infinite supply, you tend to tremble with them before their problem and whimper your prayers on their behalf, telling Me of the needs. When you know who you are, in unity with the Bread of Life, you will see their need and thank Me for My infinite supply that eternally is, though presently not seen or felt. You are so programmed to see the need and not the supply that you feel something akin to guilt if you embrace every need as the opportunity to reveal a supply. When you have seen the fullness that grace gives over and over again, you walk confidently speaking supply where none can be seen or felt by human eye. Repent of weak speeches which lack confidence and are built in needy flesh. Lay hold of the Inheritance for yourself and for others in Jesus name. The supply exist!

The enemy hates for God’s own voices to be blessed; yet it is the promise of the Father! The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the one that promised we would be prosperous and have greatest wealth on earth. God is taking care of His children. We must always give the Father praise for this wealth He has bestowed upon us. We are the wealthiest people upon the earth. We have treasures in heaven that no human has ever seen until they are able to live with them forever. Until then, we have immeasurable wealth and blessings here upon this earth.

When we seek the Lord and put Him and His Kingdom first in our lives, then we are assured of all the abundance that is necessary to multiply His Kingdom! Never listen to the enemy that says you are the loser as we certainly know who has lost, and the accuser of the brethren likes to cast his shadows because he knows his plight and wants to make it yours, but that is too late! We are children of the King and the King has more than enough to fund His voices, His leaders and His Kingdom citizens! My Daddy’s got an Endless Supply! He is my Sheperd; and I am lining up with His Word: therefore, I SHALL NOT WANT!

Cornelius and Chris,
This is a leading that God is been trying to get into my head for some time now. There is a depth of "really" believing what you read in God's WORD that really is boggling to my mind. It is tied into what John put at the very beginning of his gospel.

Quote

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 HE was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men."

We call the book that we hold the Word of God. But we have read books in school. We have read books to do reports. We have read books to teach us how to fix things. We have read books just for fun. We have books from the time we were infants and right on through to the present. We are well familiar with books. And in many of our minds what we call the Word of God is a book.
To grasp what John is trying to tell us and when we begin to grasp that concept, we find in other places that this Word is like a, I want to say portal, but that isn't entirely accurate. This Word is more accurately the Voice of a living breathing, eternal, God coming across the barrier between the spiritual and the physical. It seems to us that the word in this book are like reading a novel, but then we begin to realize, as we read, that there is a life behind these words, that are written on paper. The words begin to come alive and even though we "know" that they are printed on paper, there is a living God that is doing HIS best to communicate with us.
I hope that I have been able to communicate a piece of what has been rattling around this empty head of mine for some time. I have described this, at some points, as the words "jumping off the page into my consciousness.

Amen brother! Once we realise that the Word is Jesus Christ, then we can know what it is to walk in Christ, to be IN Him. The Word was with God and the the Word WAS God. We cannot separate the Word from God.
Jesus was saying to believe in Him, well if we believe the Word, we believe in Him. If we do not believe the Word, we do not believe in Him and we do not follow Him.

The Word became flesh and lived amongst us.

One look at the numerics in the Bible will show all those who doubt that this is truly the Word of God.

Now we have to "eat His flesh"...eat the Word...those who does not have no part in Him. We have to drink His blood, (partake of His live (Zoe), for the "live is in the blood" ) more than that, we have to eat the unleavened Bread. No doctrines of man allowed, no adding and no taking away. Those who add or leave out.........This is rather serious because of the consequences if we abuse the Word of God. God is very serious about it. I have a very real fear to teach anything that is not in the Word.So I had a real hard look at the "traditions" in my life and I asked God to help me to get rid of them, He has really plowed through them and many bit the dust. Praise God.

2Cor.3:18) But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.
If your face is truly unveiled you will accept what happened at the cross and see by faith the finished work of Christ in the mirror. Only in this walk of faith are we “transformed into the same image”.

Mark 11:24
"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.

I'll add to here too. A friend long ago had prophecized that my cup will runneth over in blessings from God. Praise God this has come to past!

I believe it...

(sigh)

<Cornelius said:>
Jesus was saying to believe in Him, well if we believe the Word, we believe in Him. If we do not believe the Word, we do not believe in Him and we do not follow Him.
<End quote>

There is just one thing that I would add to that Cornelius, (Im sure that you are implying it, but I will just go ahead and write it out anyway).

We can't just believe in His Word, but in believing, we must obey! Because faith without works is dead.
This I think is the heart of what this whole issue is, that we not only be hearers of the Word, but doers.
We can no longer be like the double minded that sees himself in a mirror and then goes his way and forgets what manner of man he was. Its because of this kind of double-mindedness that the Laodiceans
are deceiving themselves, Jesus also tells the church at Pergamos:
But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.

Ive just recently (finally) understood that the "eating things sacrificed to idols" here in Rev 2, is meaning that they are doing the opposite of that which Christ said we should be doing which is: "If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh , which I shall give for the life of the world "

They were going after another doctrine in Rev 2, they were eating "bread" that they thought was Christ, but
instead was food sacrificed to idols, not the "True Bread" that was sacrificed on the cross (which was not sacrificed to idols).

Again I will say that WE must come out from among them and not be partakers of their iniquity.
We must, with all that is in us, submit everything that we are and have to Christ. Anything less is being
doulbe-minded.

Thanks Brothers for all of your words.
In Christ,
Chris
We do not live Holy so that we may be accepted by God,
We have been accepted by God so that we may live Holy.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
