I started praying in toungues and rebuking in the name of Jesus and singing and praising God as i know that the devil flees before us when we stand firm in our faith in the power of the Lord's name.

I've initially thought that maybe the bookcases and stuff represent the clutter in my life and therefore represent my cluttered mind and because i'm more worried about day to day life than i should be and not focusing as much on god the power of god is restricted and is not having its desired change it needs for me to grow spiritually. Which is why i couldn't rebuke the spiritual attack against me. This also highlights the fact that I might not have enough faith to believe and trust in the power of the Lord's name.

Other views would be much appreciated on this, Thanks

I must ask you a question, "Are you sure the enemy (satan/evil) was using
the bookcases/computer desk in the dream, or was it a angel in the dream" ?

Do you know the difference between dreams of the enemy and dreams of
angelic intervention ?

Most people who saw angels in the Bible, fell to the ground on their faces.

That is why I asked the question.

Had you thought of this perspective ?

And the items being closing in around you, surrounding you, encompassing
you, as you have figured out, are the most important message of the dream
message.

So, what do the bookcases and computer desk, have to do with your fear ?

Are you avoiding going back to college, or technical school, requiring studies
and computer home desk time, in between class exercises for grade requirements ?

Bookcases, hold books.

Should you be reading new books, not contained in your bookcases, that would
build confidence in your standing with the Lord ?

Are your books, in the bookcases through with serving their purpose of education,
religion, family, etc ? Some new book material needed, maybe ?

How would your computer desk be a negative in your everyday routine ?

Ok, those are some of my thoughts about the dream.

Fear does not come from the Lord.

hey crown seven,

That last comment you made about the computer possibly representing something negative in my daily routine intrigued me quite a bit. It is interesting that you should have that different perspective on the dream, that instead of it being from the enemy that it could be fromt the Lord himself. If it was angels then how come i didn't see them? don't they usually reveal themselves so they don't cause alarm if they want to convey a message? Just my first thought. I'm currently studying Early Childhood teaching at University but i am now on summer break (i'm in new zealand) so it would be unusual timing if it were to be prompting me to study??

I have been reading a couple of books recently By John Elderidge 'Captivating' & 'Wild At Heart' I'm not sure if you've heard or read them but they are both inspired by the souls of Men & Women based on the nature of Adam & Eve when they were in Eden and when they fell into sin. They are an excellent read, although Wild at Heart hasnt held my attention as much as Captivating did. Captivating gave me quite a new perspective of my relationship with the Lord and it highlighted a few wounds that need to be healed with His provision. I think that may be linked to your suggestion of reading new material that would build my confidence and my relationship with the Lord??

angel tell me instructions, and I followed those instructions, . . .

. . . years later in 1996, . . . the Lord allowed me to revisit the drowning
and I was allowed in my adult life, to see the angel, who spoke to me.

Let us not focus on me, I want you to gain 100% confirmation of what the
Holy Spirit is doing in your dream life, versus fear of Satan intrusions.

And I do believe in `evil` attacking people who are not protected under
the anointing, of the blood gift of Christ Jesus our Messiah.

So, that is why I doubted some things in your dream. Even the Book of
Job teaches, that Satan was only allowed to test, torment, up to a boundary
set against taking the soul (life) of Job.

- - - Satan has limits set, due to G-d covering His anointed ones.

Maybe the dream is also FORCING you to really delve into the anointing,
the true protection in the Name of Jesus.

Many Christians can turn their noses and pass judgment, until they are
approached on a personal level with a battle with a demon.

I had that battle in my early life 16-20 years old, with a possessed 1st
husband. ( another story for another day )
