New registrants go through a short "moderation" period. This means that your first few submissions will be quickly reviewed by a moderator before becoming visible. Successful submissions automatically promote you to full "Member" status. Offensive registrants are deleted without notice.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violates any law.

Persistent spreading of obvious heresy will not be tolerated. Heresy can mean any teaching that conflicts with the above standard Statement of Faith, and/or taking a legitimate biblical truth and pushing it to an extreme. Examples of extremes are legalism, libertinism, "serpent seed", etc. Extremes in doctrine are more difficult to detect; therefore, to preserve the integrity of the forum, we reserve the right to remove divisive members who persistently teach extreme views, as decided by a team of moderators.

When quoting other websites:

When quoting other websites for discussion, as a guide, our understanding of “fair use” means that up to a quarter of an article or three paragraphs (whatever is the lesser) can be pasted into the forum. Care should be exercised when quoting from personal websites; whereas one can usually quote more liberally from news articles, yet still within the stated guidelines. It must be made clear before a quotation that it is a quote and separate from your own thoughts, and a link given.

What is the fair use doctrine?
“In certain circumstances, a person or organization can reproduce copyrighted material without paying royalties--fees paid to the copyright holder for the privilege of reproducing the copyrighted material" (Miller & Jentz, 2006, p. 147). Section 107 of the Copyright Act (Title 17, U.S. Code) outlines these provisions. Fair use includes "criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research" ( Section 107 sets four factors in determining whether or not a particular use is considered fair (, 2006). The distinction between fair use and infringement may be unclear and not easily defined, because the specific number of words, lines, or notes that may safely be taken without permission is not explicitly stated. However, in all cases, quotation and proper citation MUST BE USED when engaging in fair use of the original author's material! Resources: Copyright. (2006). U.S. copyright office.
