Some of you know that I've been involved with some Indian orphanages. This is one that a medical doctor, Dr. T. Chinnam Naidu, and his wife Dhanalaxmi have intermittantly run over time. They had to shut it down due to lack of funds. They work amongst the poor in a rural part of south India. I've had him checked out and he needs some training, and another pastor who has an orphanage in a nearby region has agreed to train him. I'll tell you more of this other pastor in another post.

Last month we leased a property for 3 years at a cost of $1250.00 So they now have a place. It needs work but was an exceptional deal. We've sent him $150.00 for Sept expenses, but with 30 orphans and 5 old aged folks, it is less than half of the need. He suppliments the work with whatever fees he can charge for his medical practice. He has 2 small children of his own.

I propose that we as a forum get together to help fund this work. We all want our giving to God to make a real and lasting difference in this world. These Hindu children and elderly people are brought to salvation In Jesus Christ. The children are raised in a totally active Christian enviroment, and will eventually impact their society.

I'll be adding more details in subsequent posts. To donate, contact me. I send money via western union as it is given. You can send it direct if you prefer. Please pray for God to use this forum to help the widows and orphans worldwide.

Here's some pictures of Chinnam and the compound:

Hey,

Before that have you contacted them?. Have you spoken to them?. Also where in south india is this?. Lastly reading recent news many hindus was blaming on Christian that they converting them to Christian by force even if it is not true. There are many violence against pastors now days here in india.

Please dont trust anyone who you especially giving money too. It would be better if you have verified all the data first.

Also why do you want to go western union is very expensive. I think there is better service for transferring money us to india.

That would be wonderful if you can help him with those things. As for Kanthi, I haven't been able to get another confirmation on his ministry. I've had 2 good reports and 2 bad reports. I tend to believe Kanthi but I can't ask anyone to support him until I get definite confirmation. If you can help with that in any way, pm me. Blessings, David

This is great David. You must PIN this thread, so that we can have access to it all the time.
Edit your first post and add the PayPal details , so that money can go to you and you can forward it.

We can have regular updates from you and through WhiteKnight . I think it is a good idea for us as a forum to get involved with a project.
We , who have been here a long time, know you and what your ministry is and also your involvement with Katrina etc. You have won our trust through the years and I for one can tell people that David has a reputation for not only reaching out to missions, but also to individuals. David gets involved personally , where the need is, when he is able.
I am saying this because,on the Internet there are many who are not to be trusted. On this forum, some of us have known each other for years and in that time we have been able to get to know some of the members.I am sure others here will be able to back me up , if I say that we trust and know David (chrio39 )

So David, please start this. Those of us who are able will help.

Cornelius
2Cor.3:18) But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.
If your face is truly unveiled you will accept what happened at the cross and see by faith the finished work of Christ in the mirror. Only in this walk of faith are we “transformed into the same image”.
